My dad has taken 3 photos and he wants them printed into canvas for Christmas. I need the images edited to try and get the colour so it matches on all 3. Below is what the 3 canvas images will be like, but as you can see I have tried to get the colour to match but my Photoshop skills are not up to much! The size of the canvas's will be 50cm Square
You will see from the originals I have cropped the image and have tried to make the horizon the same level. So what I am looking for is a square image with the horizon on all three photos level with each other and the overall colour of the image the same.
I am trying to print a 22"x40" print on canvas using CS5 with the Epson 7600. The image prints fine until about 2/3 of the way thru and then it just stops. This has happened 3Xs now.
On first attempt the resolution was set at 300dpi and the file was about 400+mb.I've flattened the image and reduced the resolution to 200 making the file about 120mb. Same problem!
I printed the same image (at the larger size) on paper without any problem.
with a photograph i have taken, I am planning on having it printed it up into a canvas, but wonder if can be sharpened up a little bit first, ie, the bit of blur on the fairy lights if possible?
So, I have a "Fit Screen" image open with no canvas. I select "Print Size", and it reduces the image size, but leaves a huge expanse of canvas that I have to drag in to remove.
I have a Epson R2880 and want to print a series of panoramic prints on it, i have set up the print to be 8x24 inches. When I open the panoramic and give it the size of the paper, CS3 automatically resizes the print, so if i set the image to 8x24 the height of the actual picture is either 8x40 or 3.78x24 .... is there a way to get a real 8x24 print or will CS3 always resize to a fixed set of dimensions ?
What is the best place to start learning Elements? Also, can I create a text only image in Elements to print to canvass (i.e. inspirational quotes, etc.)?
ONLY--now when I go to the layer I made the original changes on in Text, it refuses to let me type new ones. The little symbol shows up and the long line for text size and placement, but it will not take the text.
My mentor who is out of pocket right now--hey you know who you are!--said I should try using esc because I probably had a selection hanging around. So I did--and did--and did. Even used ctrl z a few times thrown in! No luck.
I did manage to "fool" pdn enough to copy and post one of the text pieces I need, but no more. It's on to me.
I don't want to post a scrnshot because I don't want this particular thing on a public site like Photobucket. With my mentor we've been able to use email and attachments.
why the text tool won't work beyond placement and flashing vertical line.
I used scale image to make a 2.314" x 3" image to print so it'll fit in a frame that I have for that same size. When I print it out the size looks great but it's over on the edge of the 4x6 paper and most of the picture is cut off. I tried, I should use print size and not canvas size but when I change the print size to 4x6 it also changes my canvas size back to 4x6. I still have my original so I can do this again but what I want is a 2.314"x3" image to print out on my 4x6 glossy paper.
I have PSP x14 on win7 64b. I would like to make a photo look like it's on a canvas so that it would show a depth of border along the top and down the nearest side. I have tried altering the perspective and adding narrow selected lenght from the top and side of the original photo but am still not getting the effect I am after.
Is there a way to control color print quality that matches the in-canvas look of a part or assembly.
As a quick example, I have a Kelly Green wire visible within an assembly. When I print the assembly within a .idw drawing file, the Kelly Green turns very dark.
Is it possible to specify a particular lighting setting to be used when printing? I'm expecting to see color print output that matches closely to what I see when viewing either a model or an assembly.
I'm working on a flyer on a 8x11 canvas, but I want all of the elements I'm working to be transferred to a NTSC video film format. I understand how to a open a NTSC (Video Film Canvas), but I do not understand how to convert a canvas that I'm working to that.
I just got CS5.1 at my job. This must be a preference, but when I adjust the Canvas size, it will constrain the image, rather than cropping the canvas. The Anchor in the Canvas Size menu appears outlined (highlighted?) which indicates that this is something in preferences that I can adjust.
i want to print some customsized photos to a sheet of photo paper. Will PS CS4 do this? If so how? It appears that PS elements 10 will do trhis but i don't want to buy iy if PS4 will do the job.
I recently updated from Photoshop Elements 7 to Photoshop Elements 10 and now I cannot print TWO 5x7 photo's on the same page, letter size photo paper! I have tried everything!
I crop all photos in PSE to be 8 X 10 - however when they are printed they are "OFF" - to short, to long, to tall - varies, sometimes top is cut off sometimes a white boarder on sides or top or bottom. I'm stumped! I have tried researching this - it suggest resizing or resampling - what do I do so that the photo is a perfect 8 X 10 for printing?
Using Photoshop Elements 12 and a new Canon inkjet printer, my photos come out in three colors, but no black. I have chosen to let Photoshop manage the color, but I cannot disable printer color management in the printer preference dialog.
When I print directly from Elements 10, my photos come out much darker than when I print directly from my computer on Windows 7? Is there a MAIN adjustment (not each photo) in the program which lightens all print-outs? My printer is fine. It copies photos properly and prints out from Windows (My Pictures) properly.
I am trying to print 4 photos on a single 5x7 photo sheet. Print Package seems to be totally unusable. I select 3 photos and can't position them on the screen. I select a 4th photo and it positions it on a 2nd sheet. I can't resize a photo by clicking the image and adjusting the size (like most other windows packages).
If I move a photo it seems to change format from landscape to portrait. I set Printer settings to 5x7 Glossy but whatever option I chose in 'Select a Layout' gives me a message saying The layout selected is larger than paper size - eventhough they're both set to 5x7.
If I select a photo and try and move it, it just duplicates the image somewhere else on the print page - and doesn't let me delete it or undo. I have selected 5x7 paper size and Layout 5x7 (4) but the review screen still doesn't show 4 photos positioned logically.
This task should take 5 minutes - I am now quitting after nearly 2 hours - which included reading many community issues of people trying to do this simple task and clearly having the same problems I have.
I have stiched together six photos to make a panorama photo. When I go to print that combination photo only one of the six photo shows up in the Print window. Only one photo is printed, not the panorama one. I tried using the Finder > Print box and the copy of the panorama photo I had in a folder on the my desktop. That worked. I want to use photo paper for the print and make some adjustments, that doesn't work from the Finder > Print selection. The original panorama photo was a TIFF file and ended up to be 155MB, but I made a copy in JPEG and that file was 13.2MB.
I'm using PSE 10 with Windows 7, and I'd like to change the formatting of the captions on the photos I've got in slide shows, and those I'd like to print, i.e., change fonts, size, centered, etc. I've checked various manuals, online sources, and haven't found info on this.
I'm trying to print two 4x6" photos on each page of a picture package, but I can't get it to print out the captions. I've successfully done it before, but can't now. The "more options" menu doesn't provide for "printing choices" and "show captions" for picture package, and I'm not sure how else to do two pictures per page. Is there another way to get the captions to print out when printing two per page? The captions print when I print individual photos.
