When I select an Area, and then apply Rotation Everything Rotates, instead of the Selected Area - Why?
(and I have a image example; but, I could not figure how to Insert here via Image shack -most of the codes I tried between the 'IMG' gave strange results)
I have PSPx4. If I select an area of the image and try to apply color balance (Adjust|Color balance), the effect gets applied to the entire image, not just the selected area. Is there a way to apply color balance to just a selected region?

View 2 Replies View RelatedHow do i do a geometric distortion without applying perspective? so in the example below. if i want it to look more like the second image (which i did badly with warp mesh,) rather than the top image. that is to say i want to be able to pull the corners like i did with the pick tool for the top image but not have it apply the perspective, which in this case bunches it up to the left. just to keep it in the plane as with the bottom image.

The thing im trying to do is changeing the color of his jacket (only) but every time I try it changes the color of the whole pictures or something else. Image>Adjustment>HueSaturation>Changeing from master to other color>then pressing ****+ and taking some samples> then when im draging the Hue or saturation its changes the whole picture. I also tried Replacing color but aswell denied.

When I right click to "Open With" PSP is not an option and trying manually does nothing. Some pics I can drag in and open. Dbl clk only opens the Instant Viewer.

I want to select a by color part of the sky. So I am using magic wand (match mode "color"). The problem is that it select the white shirt as well.
So, using freehand selection, I selected just the sky. Once I want just a color (not all sky), I am trying to to use magic wand (match mode "color" in mode "replace"). But once already exist a selection, the magic wand isn't available to "replace" (just in other modes - add or remove).
How could I make this selection without selecting the shirt? The intent of my first freehand selection was to protect the magic wand of selecting the shirt...
Is there a way to make PS X4 open up images the way it did in older versions... i.e. each image opens up as a stand alone floating box so I can have them side by side? (See attached image)
View 2 Replies View RelatedIn X4 I could set the pallettes I wanted (layers and History) to a docked position on the RHS. With X6 the pallettes cover the RH part of the window and the image, with the opened image centred on the whole screen so that the RH part is cut off. It can't be centred within the area visible when the pallettes are open. This gives a smaller visible image if the whole image is in view. This is a serious issue, which X4 handled ok ! I've tried all the options but cannot get X6 to behave like x4
View 3 Replies View RelatedPSP X6. In the Manage workspace, in preview mode, the picture on the preview area does not fill the frame but about 3/4 of it leaving the right and bottom ends empty. It is the same with the 64b and 32b vertions.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI can't find any preferences for changing the photo editing area background colour. I am not sure what it is called but what I am talking about is the space in the middle of the program where photos open up into (not the workspace option which changes the menu bar colours of which I am using the blue option.) At the moment the centre area is a charcoal colour. When I am editing a photo which is smaller than this space it is surrounded by this colour and it makes it hard for me to see the thin black border which I place around some photos. Can I change the colour of the editing area to white?

I am trying to create a custom Title block and want items such as Title, sub title and location to be locked in place but editable when inserted. The next requirement I have is to have these attributes rotated 90 degrees.
What I am getting is a block that in the editor looks exactly the way I want it to. However when I import the block into Paper Space and enter the information, those attributes that were defined as 90 degrees are presenting without any rotation at all.

For family history purposes, wish to improve the legibility of some hand written 1930 telegrams; the ink has faded with time so I want to change its colour to black. The form printing has not faded.
The user guide draws attention to the fact that the color selected for replacement must be in the image. Using the Dropper tool with sample size 1 pixel I position the dropper where I want it, see the color in the preview window, then right-click and the selected color appears in the background window on the Materials panel. So far, so good. I then place the Dropper tool over black in the swatch on the Materials panel, click and black appears in the Foreground window of the Materials panel. I think I'm set.
When I select the Color Replacer tool the background window immediately reverts to another color, usually white.Incidentally, the user guide suggests you read up on selecting colors with the Dropper; when you do this you learn that its OK to pick colors from the Materials panel.
Is there any simpler way of applying hues to the selected objects at once despite of selecting each element and applying the hue. Â

Since "upgrading" to lightroom 5.2 I've been plauged by it applying whatever I do to the image I'm on as well as the next image. The second image is not chosen - I only have one image selected. Whether I'm trying to do a correction, a crop, give it a number of stars, edit in Photoshop - it always affects two images at once.

However, if I rotate or move in the background layer or a duplicate background layer the whole image changes, I also move or rotate the backgroundstuff while I only wanted to rotate the selection.

I had a layer that was smaller than the layer below it, those being the only two layers. And somehow I was able to select the size of the top layer down onto the lower layer in a way that I could move around to position.
I am running autocadlt and opening up a very detailed drawing by an architect which was likely drawn on the most recent version of the autocad. When i go to select a certain area of the plan, elevation views appear in the background as i drag my selection with the mouse. The elevation views are not visible in the plan in the model space. All layers are on and unfrozen.
I am a surveyor and am trying to import the plan into my survey program (which only accepts files in autocad 2007 or earlier anyway). When I open the file in the survey program, for some reason the elevation views are showing and can not be turned off.
I tried to use the command erase, then "all" it tells me "2891 objects found, 19 not in current space". Does that have anything to do with it?
I have gone into the layer manager and selected all the layers and turned them on, and have unfrozen them
Did the proxygraphics command as well
Could it be because autocadlt???
Is there any way to deselect an area after you've selcted it.
EX: I create a cut out, move my cut out and the dotted line area of cut out is still there. Or I create a box , but I cant get rid of it....
