A customer has given me a colour to work with but I have to come up with a darker version and several shades that are lighter as well.
I've played around with the colour wheel in PDN but can't seem to generate the right colours....
I always seem to come up with something that doesn't match the colour the original...
How can I generate several shades of a colour?
What I have is a shape which uses a pantone colour. However, the background is also the same pantone colour and I'd like it to stay 100% tint of that colour. What I'd like is for the top shape to be darker than the background even though it uses the same PMS colour.
I've tried to do some reading about it, but couldn't quite get the answer I was looking for. I have my .ai file set to Overprint View and have given Multiply a try, but it doesn't look any different.
So I was drawing pixel art with green/ orange and i decided to change the colour to black/white. But when I use grey/ darker shades of black. the green/orange just becomes a darker shade of green/orange.

Not sure about Windows version but Linux versions (2012/2013) on my computer have this issue. The actually maps can be generated even it freezes at 99% and shows Tangents calculating... However, it is very annoying because I have to force Mudbox to quit everytime at this step.I even tested with a simple tube in Maya and brought it into Mudbox for testing. It gave me the same result and froze at 99%.
After working with some pictures in PaintShopProX4 I saved them as jpeg and tif, but the brightness of the pictures is different ( they are darker) outside PaintShop. Is there something I should do to keep the original brightness?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI wrote my signature on piece of paper, then scanned it in, removed the white background, leaving just the signature in blue ink on a transparent background and saved it as a .gif. HOWEVER, I need to make the signature darker blue. I've used clipping masks in the past, but cannot figure how to do this in Paint.net.
I made duplicate copy of the original .gif, then created a layer and filled it with a darker blue. What do I do from here so that when I put the layers together the signature is darker, but the background is still translucent?

all the iparts when new member is added in order to manintain the parent child version relationship
Example : say i have a ipart 41020.ipt and i have members 41020- 001 ~ 008 . I check out the parent
from Vault and add 009 member to it.

Do I have to generate all and check those in to maintain the version relationship between the child and parent inside

Only generating 009 will maintain version relationship inside Vault 2013

I've tried to use it, but how to generate the flashing light in a separate object. This is possible because while trying I did it, but now I cannot do it and it does the flashing light in the same layer of the background of the image.

View 6 Replies View RelatedOK so I may be a bit slow, but! I've installed PSPx6. Setup my plugins etc. Even got my workspace to load and work! Only thing now that is bugging me is the background colour in the Edit window. I use the dark grey. In x5 the background to a photo in Edit mode matched the dark grey of the UI. Now in x6 it seems I'm stuck with the dark grey UI and a light grey background.
Am I missing something some where or is this option gone?
Apart from that x6 loads in 5-6 seconds. Good. Everything else 'seems' to be faster. (I'm using 64bit). BUT Adjustment layers are still slow

I was watching a video on youtube when a came upon a brush set called lens flares, since I already had the Custom Brushes Mini plug-in, I was amazed by the lens flares. So then I went to Brusheezy(Dot)com and searched lens flares, there was a brush pack that was the lens flares I was looking for, so I did the process so I could use them, but then when I went to use the magic wand tool, and delete the black colour for it to be transperent, not all the black was gone, I tried changing the tolerance to remove more black, but it wouldn't budge.

As you can see, the 3D background color reflects slope. Steeper parts are a darker kind of grey than the flat parts.
I would like to create profiles of my own in the same style, with the slope of a portion reflected in its color, so I was wondering if there is a feature in paint.net that allows me to change the color of a line according to its slope. Is it possible to draw a line for the mountains etc. in a single color, and then use some kind of effect or plugin to make the rising sections darker and the flat parts lighter?
I transcribe church registers, due to the poor copies I need to change the background colour as this improves the writing for me to read and transcribe correctly. When I used PSP8 which I am unable to use now I was able to change the colour by using the dropper.
