View 4 RepliesI am trying to do a www logo with transparent text - colour of the text should change accordingly to web site background (image or solid colour).
I do not want to use Magic Wand as it degrade quality of the text.
I've tried to use 2 layers with blend mode set to multiply but it does not work for me if background was transparent (saved as PNG file)
I have a clipart picture, which has varying shades of black and white. How do I change the image to pink? I would like to keep the shading. Its a very intricate image of a crown.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI use EdHarvey's colour tint tool and it changes colour of the whole image, I'm looking for something similar but it only changes selected colour, so that the image is left with mutiple colour scheme rather than just one, any addon that can do this?
From this example, you can see the figure on the right is in a brownish colour scheme, what tool can I use in order to make it's colour scheme blue like the figure on the left?
I am new in paint.net. I tried "red-eyes-effect" but the red eyes turn into blue or grey instead of black.

I want to change the colour of a picture frame (black) around the outside of an image and I am trying to use a (blue) from a 2nd image to do so. The 2nd image is an edited version of the !st image saved under a different name. PSPRo X .This is my work flow :-
1 Open 2nd image
2 Click the dropper tool on the 2nd image-the foreground colour in the met palette changes to that colour(blue)
3 Click on foreground colour box
4 Click on background colour box-wanted colour shows-OK.
5 Select flood fill tool
Then the foreground colour changes to white. Not doing step 4 ends up with white too.
I have a Black and White text logo which I want to invert/reverse the colours on. Yes it's that simple, but I can't get paint.net to do it. In the attached file, I need Black to be White, and vice-versa. Anything else needs to be left as it is.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a simple illustrator document with some text on it. The text is green. I wish to add additional text to the document in the exact shade of green that the current text is in. Believe it or not, I can't figure out how to do this. I can select the text I want to to be green and select a colour from the swatches menu, but the shades of green available there are not the exact shade of green that I need. I tried selecting my newly written text, click the eye dropper tool, and then clicked on my old text (which is in the shade of green that I want) but this frustratingly changes the font of my newly written text to the same font as the original text, without changing it's colour.

The mug is white meaning I cannot adjust the hue/saturation.
I recently turned down a job (foolish I know) because I didnt have a clue how to go about doing it.
I was asked by a shoe company if I was able to photoshop a load of images of white wedding shoes and change each one into the 35 colours they offer.
Attached is the sample they sent me which I've cobbled together showing one of the colours they do (green) and one of the white shoes that would need changing.
Now while Im not a photoshop pro, I have the basic grasp of selecting objects using the quick selection tool etc.
The two burning questions for me would be:
1) once I've selected the area of the shoe that needs changing, how to change the colour. I know I could "paint" the shoe with a colour and set it to say 50% transparent so you can see see the shadow etc but how do you change it and keep all of the shading etc?
2) The reflection - this seems a near impossible task. How to select just the bits needed?!
I am desperately trying to change the Canvas Colour for an image in Gimp 2.8.

I have an image of a table but a little area is discoloured. I would like to copy or get a certain colour from this image and then paste that over the discoloured area to make the table look normal. What tool could i use/how could it be done? I did try using the Clone stamp but it didnt work as expected.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just begun using Illustrator CS6. I have a very simple image (.png file) that I would like to annotate with some arrows and some text. This file is what I guess you would consider a raster image (no vector graphics) that has a very limited color range. It has less than ten basic colors plus a gradient fill (shades of gray) in a few places.
I want to use illustrator to annotate this image with some lines with arrows and some text, but first, there are a few stray lines that I would like to eliminate. For example, there is a black line that I would like to "erase" by replacing all the black pixels in this line with white pixels. I tried to do this by selecting the "Paint Brush" tool and then selecting white as both my fill and my stroke color. After doing this, I position the cursor over the pixels I want to change but the cursor appears as a circle with a line through it, and it doesn't do anything.
Ive got an image of my vehicle that I have edited out the entire background.
Theres a small part of the car at the bottom of the front bumper (splitter) that Im looking to edit.
I'm looking to edit the colour to a black but would like to keep the colour contrasts so that it looks like it is supposed to be like it.
change the colour of this vehicle part and to keep the different colour contracts.
VSX5 .I click on the text, the size handles show, I right click the text to raise the font attributes box, I change the colour in the box + click OK. What exactly do I have to do next because the text colour has not changed and I cant find out how to do this…
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'd like to change the text colour to that of one I pick using the eye dropper tool.
This is what I do;
1. Select the text
2. Using the eye dropper tool i click on an object (lets say a square) filled object with a different colour. (no stroke) - Now I expect that the text will change to the squares colour but it does not.
The eye dropper will pick up and change its font/colour if i select other text but not other objects. I have opened the eye dropper preferences and EVERYTHING is ticked in both picks up and applies.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just started using X4 for the first time and what I'm trying to do is add text to the last frame of a gif. I got the text in and see where the colour changing tools are but for some reason even if I made everything red, the text colour still comes out completely different. It seems to be matching it to the colour scheme of the GIF itself. I just want to text to be red.
How do I get the text colour to just stay red?

View 3 Replies View RelatedHow do I see the object selected change colour dynamically as I adjust the colour sliders?
It seems the object only changes colour when I release the slider. But I want to see it dynamically change, so I can find the colour that works best without "hit or miss" - "trial and error" behaviour.
Yes... I'm aware some of you spend hours in colour programs creating a palette to work with. Good for you.
I'm just wanting to do it LIVE. Dynamically. In 2013. In Illustrator.
