Is there any way to save like sets of text(drawing) color & font(family, size, weight)?
In some projects I frequently have to switch from red-arial-30-b to black-lucida-22-i etc. and it's really pissing me off.
So my question is: Are there any built-in tools (haven't found any yet) or plugins that provide the features described above?
This feature request is for two advanced font options: Kerning and OpenType Stylistic Sets (reference with practical application).
Update: if Paint.NET is using WPF for font rendering, then API's for these features are readily available.
I need it in 3 different colors, and 3 different fonts. So far when I try it doesn't work.
I can do the first word in one layer and open up a second layer for the next few words, but as soon as I start typing the second word, the first one becomes the color of the second word.
I'm about 3 months and many hours of tutorials into Premiere ProCC, Audition CC, and Encore CS6. Apparently the nifty dynamic links from PPro and Audition CS6 no longer work with encore, as encore was not upgraded to CC. So,
I want to sample color from an original Photoshop image, and create an Encore menu color set, so that my menu buttons, etc. are colored to match the main photo image in the menu. Is there an eyedropper kind of tool in Encore that would let me sample the color from the image, and then apply that to color swatches in the Encore button layers?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have added 9pt vector text in multiple places of an image. Now I realize it should have been 8pt. I can add new text as 8pt but cant figure out how to change the point size of vector text that is already on the image. If I select a vector text object and then change the point size on the "Size" drop down menu at the top nothing happens. If I right click the vector object and select Edit Text I can change the actual text but not the font or its size. If I right-click the vector object and select Properties I can change stroke, fill, line style etc but this window does not include font or size. How do I change the font and point size for existing vector text objects?

I thought I would be able to use them to paint my layer masks, but I cant figure out a way of using the selection to limit where I am painting inside the mask. I thought convert to a freeze but it seems paint layers ignore frozen areas. Is it possible, or is it a case of saving selections for sculpt and not for paitning?

since I use many effects and settings in a given PDN, I sometime wants to write me some notes about how i did something and the steps i used to do it, before my old memory lets me down.
I know that the PDN it self has the history, but now I need to go over all the list and manually write/type down in notepad the list , which most of the time is very long.
Having the ability to save/export the history box text to a file or to the clipboard, make it easy to edit the list and keep track/notes of steps and ways to do something.
I don't need the settings used in the effect/adjustments , but just the TEXT names of the steps taken as shown in the history box.
I just downloaded paint.net and I'm making a icon for my youtube channel. I'm usually good when it comes to photoshop (i had it for years, it recently was uninstalled by mistake and I couldn't be bothered re-downloading it) but I cant seem to find out how to do something.

Most of the text is black but certain words/letters are purple, red, blue, etc. and I want to get rid of them. The black and white tool works but the previously colored text is now a shade of gray instead of being pure black. I also played with the contrast and brightness but it the text bleeds and becomes unreadable. The background is also pure white.

I can not get PS to display french special characters correct. all 'accented' As and Es etc. display as weird text strings, just like your browser running on the wrong text encoder.

since the last update for Paintshop Pro X4, I can't add a new layer form the layers palette and I cant edit the text color at all. I can change the color in the palette but it will not change in the text at all. Is it me or is it a bug?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI' have an image that I've created using layers. I want to add text to the picture. But the text comes up grey and there seems to be no box for selecting the text color as there is say in word or other windows programs. I can only see a choice for font and size. I can't make a color window appear to give me a choice of colors. The only thing on the left of my window is the tools panel with the 22 tools in it. I don't seem to be able to use the color picker tool because I want white text and there is no white in my photo to pick on.

I want my text field to be a specific width to fit within my layout - and have the text expand or contract based on the width of the text layer. What happens now is the Last Name (for instance - could be the First Name, Team Name etc) for instance comes in very long and I have to manually compress the text layer width (the height is always good) to fit in the layout (or comes in really short and I have to expand it).
Going through 100's of PSDs after the import of the dataset really slows down the workflow....is there a way to "lock" a text layer to a specific width (and height) - therefore having the text expand/contract as nessessary when the import occurs?
I have looked at couple of scripts - but I am new to JavaScript (use VBS quite a bit at work - but not familar with JS). But this may be what I have to do...
Is there any chance to have Style sets applied to whole paragraphs without having to select all the text?
I'd recommend a button in the styleset list that does "Apply styleset to paragraph" (with the possibility to assign a shortcut to it).
I would like to be able to shade certain rooms on a floor plan but still be able to read the text underneath.
Just a pale pastel shade on say the bathroom would be grand.
I'm making some signs for my veggie stand for when we open. the problem I'M having is that I can change the font size ok but after I go back and try to add color to were i want it on the text won't let me do a thing.
