May 21, 2013I am using CS6 and the Replace Colour Tool no longer allows me to replace multiple colours when I select the + . So when I have the panel open and I highlight the +, I used to then be able to click on several spots in my image and all of the colours that are in those spots are added to the selected colours that will be changed by using the sliders.
But now, when I use the + it has exactly the same effect as not using it - I can only choose one colour or an other, I can't add.....I want to reset this to the original way that this works.
Currently I have to open the panel, change one variation of a colour, save it, then re-open the panel and do it again (and again and again) until all the colour variations I am trying to remove are are changed. I know I also have the 'fuzziness' slider, but it does not give enough control.

i'm trying to use the gradient tool. im adding gradients to sold colour shape jpg's. for instance i have a jpeg that is a green square.
i want to use the Graditent tool to give a gradient effect to my jpeg, however when i apply a gradient it is always grayscale, no matter what colour the image! can this be changed to colour? if so how?
in other words, is it possible to make my green square have a green gradient effect?

Feb 27, 2013Test file dropshadow_replace_demo.cdr contains a yellow rectangle with a black drop shadow, all in RGB,
Run Edit > Find and Replace with the options Replace Objects > Replace a colour model > Any colour model, replace with CMYK.
The rectangle will be converted to CMYK but the drop shadow remains stubbornly as RGB.
Of course there are third party replacers which are easier to use and probably work better, but the built in replacer ought to work properly on all objects that CorelDraw supports and not just some of them.

Feb 29, 2012I have captured a GIS image from a government website that shows the boundary lines of real property parcels. I would like one of these parcels to be highlighted to make it easier to spot among all the others.
This particular GIS site appears to render the boundary lines in a rasterized (is that the right word?) format instead of a vectored format so instead of an actual smooth, continuous line I get a bunch of little one and two pixel segments that have diagonal gaps at their corners - this means that if I use the fill bucket tool I end up covering the entire image with the highlighting color and not just the one parcel.
I have attached a closeup of the jagged (rasterized?) line here in case the above wasn't clear.
Is there any hope of me being able to quickly and easily fill in the area that isn't completely enclosed at the pixel level?

Jan 10, 2013I'm using one photo, and I want to put a shirt on somebody in the photo. Here's what my idea is, I just don't know how to execute it. I already used paintbrush and zoomed in on the person and drew around the person's outline. What I want to do, is cut out that person from the picture, basically make two layers using the same photo, but not remove or move the person. Then, I was to import the picture of the shirt and basically put it on the person so it looks like they're wearing it, but put the picture of the shirt in between the two layers, so the background hides the excess shirt. I hope that's understandable.

Sep 28, 2011I have an image with a black background and an image in various shades of grey. I would like to, i guess, "invert it" in such a way that black becomes white, and the various shades of gray become transparent. Basically I want to have the following:
Black -> White with 100% opacity - totally white
Grey with 10% black -> White with 90% opacity - white with a bit of transparency
Grey with 70% black -> White with 30% opacity - white with a lot of transparency
White -> White with 0% opacity - completely transparent

Mar 15, 2012I have a very simple image, 32-bit CMYK which is just black & white. I want to change all the black to Cyan. Should be easy, I just use rectangle mask to mark out the area I want then go to "Adjust->Replace Colors..." and it comes up with a dialog. So far so good.
I use the color picker to select black as the source I want to change, then I choose the color to change to, either with color picker or manually mixing it to pure Cyan. The colour does change, to something blue-ish or cyan-ish, but not what I specified. Same deal if I try with Magenta. It's close, but not quite.
If I just fill with Cyan, it does indeed come out the right color.

Aug 23, 2013OK so I may be a bit slow, but! I've installed PSPx6. Setup my plugins etc. Even got my workspace to load and work! Only thing now that is bugging me is the background colour in the Edit window. I use the dark grey. In x5 the background to a photo in Edit mode matched the dark grey of the UI. Now in x6 it seems I'm stuck with the dark grey UI and a light grey background.
Am I missing something some where or is this option gone?
Apart from that x6 loads in 5-6 seconds. Good. Everything else 'seems' to be faster. (I'm using 64bit). BUT Adjustment layers are still slow

Jul 8, 2011I was watching a video on youtube when a came upon a brush set called lens flares, since I already had the Custom Brushes Mini plug-in, I was amazed by the lens flares. So then I went to Brusheezy(Dot)com and searched lens flares, there was a brush pack that was the lens flares I was looking for, so I did the process so I could use them, but then when I went to use the magic wand tool, and delete the black colour for it to be transperent, not all the black was gone, I tried changing the tolerance to remove more black, but it wouldn't budge.
