Paint.NET :: How To Get Rid Of Specific Color And Replace With Black
Jun 20, 2012
I am trying to get rid of a specific color and replace it with black, the color is all over the picture in different parts. I recently came across this program and it almost worked. It got rid of the color but replaced it with white. How do i get it to replace it with black. Is there another program?
I am very new to photography and Lightroom 3.4 64 bit. I have a photo of an apple on the table. I want to get the photo black and white (did that already). Now I want the apple it self to remain its own red color. How do I do that?
Also, I have this apple and its reflection is on the knife that is cutting the apple. How can I get that in color too?
The Recolor Artwork dialog does not replace the color of objects filled or stroked with pure black, either CMYK or RGB. (Yes, with the Recolor Art checkbox selected.) The dialog will replace any other color, but not black. Not even a manually created rich black. Manually selecting another color from the Color or Swatches panel does change the object's fill or stroke.
This happens with both CS6 and CS5 under Windows 7 x64. I reported it as a bug on the prerelease site. Also not sure if bug reports are still being read for the released version.
Any way to simply remove a color by replacing it with a transparency? More specifically, the background of my image is solid black but the object itself is a little too intricate to cut out via the selection tool.
I know how to replace one color with another in Pro Photo X2 from a palette or from within the picture itself, but what I am wanting to do is replace the color in the picture with - Gold, Silver or Metallic look. How to even get started with that, if at all possible (PS - I'm using Pro Photo X2).
I have an image with a black background and an image in various shades of grey. I would like to, i guess, "invert it" in such a way that black becomes white, and the various shades of gray become transparent. Basically I want to have the following:
Black -> White with 100% opacity - totally white
Grey with 10% black -> White with 90% opacity - white with a bit of transparency
Grey with 70% black -> White with 30% opacity - white with a lot of transparency
White -> White with 0% opacity - completely transparent
I have an image with a "rainbow" (a gradient of 7 colors).
How can I select each and every pixel of that image that contains at least a shade of red? That is, every color whose Red component (from its RGB code) is between 1 and 255.
I am working on creating a banner for a website and I am looking to use a couple colors from which is included on a jpeg that is provided for me, its been forever since ive tried creating anything and i wonder is there some way i can take the colors from the jpeg to use in my own color palette .
I have a brother printer that no longer prints the magenta ink. I have tried and tried to fix it, and cannot figure it out. So, Since i would like to continue using the printer, and still need to print in color, I was hoping maybe there would be a way to remove the red from a picture before i color it.
Now, i understand it is more complicated than just finding all the red in a photo and simply removing it or changing the color. Any color that the printer needs Magenta ink to print is going to come out funny, unless I can find a way to change any color that would require the magenta ink.
is it possible to change e.g. the picture this one in that way, that the basic color is lightblue, so I mean there is no other color than lightblue and the contures?
I want a plugin that make the black and white (pic. 1) pictures to color pictures (pic. 2) like RED or what hex you add in. Opposite of Black and White addon (pic. 3).
I'm having trouble changing a black and white map to filling it with a color. In the materials palette the foreground and background remain in the greys/blacks and will not accept the change to a color.
Corel SP1. I now have toolbars I can see clearly, but the black background makes it impossible to tell if an image has a thin black perimeter border. Last release I could drag the window to size it larger than the image and it was easy to see. The attachment shows the trouble and I can't find where or how to change just the background color of the work surface without changing the color of the workspace that now works best for me.
i am tryen to make my picture black and white with some color.. I figured out how to do it by going to duplicate layers, then blck and white then eraser to what i want colored...BUTTTT when i mess up and i get color in the parts i dont want color HOW DO I fix my mess up?
How to create a photo that has a specific area of a photo containing the original color and the rest of the photo be black and white. I am using Corel Paitshop Pro X4 Ultimate.
I have a color picture in Paint.NET, and I want to make it black and white, like, something from 1961. Are there any features that can allow me to do this?
I'm not sure if you can do this but if any of you have seen the Itunes Color Effects app, I'm wondering if there is a way to keep color in one part of a photo while making the rest B&W? I know how to make it B&W & I can't get it to work with the paint bucket or anything like that.
When I export a drawing into pdf, the yellow color of the paint on the road changes to black. The export had worked fine until I c/p an image under my line-work.
I regularly have to remove the Black (K) for printing cost reason at work... Some time ago, I found a small and easy trick which involved playing between a specific profile and then past the CMYK picture to the RGB mode and come back to CMYK...
The Black was replaced by a mix between the Cyan, the Magenta and the Yellow, without losing to much "relief" in the picture. It works perfectly except when I come back to my "regular" CMYK profile (which for Europe is the FOGRA39...), the Black is back again!
Remove the Black and replace it with CMY? I don't want to just remove the black, but also to replace it with CMY...
A while back I saw a video about using the video editing capabilities. In particular the video showed a car with a colored sheet over it and the in the video the sheet was either pulled off the car or the car moved out from under the sheet (I cant remember which). Then the video showed how to use the color replace tool to change the color of the sheet throughout the entire video.
I have a star that I would like in a specific color, but am having issues changing it with the replace color and/or color replacement tool. The image is small, but I am trying to have all the pixels. The color I want to use is Pantone solid uncoated 655 U. This is the image I am trying to change.
CS5, Photoshop. I want to replace a short portion of the top of a black turtleneck sweater with the adjacent skin color. In other words, lower the height of the turtleneck on the neck. Skin color is very light white. I have tried th patch tool, but it does not change the balck to the white skin color. It just lightens the black slightly. how to replace the black with the light white?
