How to rotate text did not work. Why would two people want to chime in with inaccurate information. The first said you go to Layers and then Rotate. All this does is rotate the entire picture not just your text. Then the other said to lasso it and right click it while you drag it either way. No such thing exists. Nothing rotates with these methods. I am not even sure there is a way to select the text?
How to rotate text? I need it for a quick logo. I have the logo saying Travel Articles and wanted the .com next to it but at a right angle. Just works well with the pic.
I'm drawing a small map, and in several places there is text rotated so as to fit next to a slanted line. The problem comes when I decide to move the text, usually along a line parallel to itself, or perhaps in some other direction.
As far as I can tell, the only way to select the text is with the lasso tool, which can be very difficult, because of the close tolerances. Maybe the easiest way is simply to erase the text and re-create it. So, is there some way to rotate the selection box, so I can grab the slanted text easily?
I am new to photoshop and all i want to do is to select an image. then, i want to rotate the image. then i want to stretch the image so that its 6 inches.
At my last job, the CAD manager there had certain blocks which, upon insertion, automatically selected the rotate command. i.e., as soon as you click to place the block, it was free rotating.
I've search for the answer, but everything just tells me how to put the rotate command inside the dynamic block, but I don't know how to make it "auto-jump" to that immediately upon insertion.
I have used annotative text and selected yes for match orientation to layout for the text. In the viewport it is rotating automatically with the view, however the boxes around the text do not rotate as well. Is there anyway to automate this?
The Client requires a key plan which has all the pipe data on it. The key plan is oriented in one direction. Then for the plan & profile drawings, the plan is oriented in another direction. I don't want to have two create two sets of text (one for the key plan and one for the plan/profile drawing). How can I use one set of text and make it work in the key plan and for all the plan/profile drawings? Image is attached.
I know this is located in other locations but I can't seem to make it work with my block.
I would like the cross and the text N to rotate independantly of the arrow while the N stays with the thick line. That's the easy part. How can I make the N move along the rotation path and keep the text aligned horizontally? I read something about linked action and move, but I can't make it work.
On a new layer, I used the line and curve tools to draw the outline of a human figure. I want to fill the shape with a color. However, I can't figure out how to select the entire figure so that I can fill it using the Paint Bucket tool. How can I do that?
I've noticed when you tilt things using Rotate/Zoom the edges and some finer details can get quite jaggy.Pretty much like in Shape3D unless you check the AA option and raise the level up to 4/5. Then all the creases are ironed out and detail is kept Is it even possible to put an AA option into Rotate/ Zoom ?
so i recently downloaded paint.net that can rotate images in every angle. so lets say i want to save 360 rotations of these images with a name and at the end of the name a number of angel that it was rotated in. the problem is on paint.net i need to rotate it 360 times manually and it just takes me forever. is there some sort of enviroment to rotate images the way i want or some way to do it in paint.net. i need this because i want to load the 360 images in to a game and thats how i will rotate the images.
I am new to Paint.net, a friend recommended it to me because I told him I wanted to replace GIMP to try and fix a nagging issue with my sprite work.
2. There are so many plug ins for paint.net I don't even know where to start O_O what I'm looking for however, besides what I listed above is this: A free-form rotate tool, A mirror/flip tool and other basic things like that.
3. This is my main question, what I want to do that I can't do in Gimp is be able to Re-size, and rotate png/xcf images without losing data. I know Photoshop can do this in a way but Photoshop is expensive.
Does Paint.net have a similar feature to photoshop, and if so is it A plug-in? and if so which one
Is there a way to rotate the paintbrush tool? There's many times when I'm using a brush and it's at the wrong angle. Placing the brush on a separate layer and then rotating the layer is a huge hassle. Therefore, I was wondering if there was a way to rotate brushes.
Is there a way (plugin and or method) to rotate/zoom a layer without anti aliasing being applied?I'm working with sprites and anti aliasing is a pain to remove.
I've run into Paint.NET a few weeks ago. I think it's a very good choice for beginners (and maybe professionals too) at a graphic field. I've made some cool pictures (with some cool plugins inside Paint.NET or published at the forum) and now I wanna to make my own plugin.
The question is how to move and rotate a specific part of image at source canvas. The rest of the image must be untouched. I consider it's impossible to use Layers -> Rotate/Zoom tool directly (correct me if I'm wrong). So I should use a piece of C# code. I think source code of Rotate/Zoom tool would be very useful too but I couldn't find it.
Any way to turn off the ghost text that appears when you select text that is annotative, not get rid of it just not show all of the other scales for clarity.
I follow the tutorial in the Xara Help, but cannot get the results shown. I draw the circle, compose the text, and set it to the middle Select both circle and text Arrange/Fit Text to Curve....the text appears around the lower, right side of the cirle After all this I am unable to manipulate the text (It's a piece of cake to do this in Publisher 2010, but it has some minor problems in appearance)
I have a rotate feature set up and I have a tag for the block. When I rotate the block, the text rotates as I have set it up to do but it turns upside down or sideways as the block rotates. I would like the text to stay the same orientation but just move round with the block as the example below.
How I rotate a block but set the text to stay readable.
At the moment I have a 600x600 light fitting with a Tag inside for typing the letter of the fitting. E.G. Type A, B, C
I have a rotate function also so I can rotate the fitting to the orientation of the room.
But when I rotate the fitting the text rotates also, therefore if I turn the fitting round 90 degrees the text is on its side. How do I rotate the block but leave the text orientation the correct way?
