I use this program for a long time, but never before I have had to use this tool in this way. Could the text be arranged as shown in the figure without breaking Callout Group Apart, and if so, how?

We use AutoCad to name our dxf files for our Burn Table and whenever we get a new part it is a repetitive task to input layers and common text. So what I am curious is can AutoCAD input the layers and text automatically using a Macro?
I want the Macro to put in 6 layers and choose the layer color and title then input text boxes with word in 3 different layers. There will be about a total of 10 different text boxes with text already put in the boxes by the Macro.
When I select "Object Properties" as the source for the callout text, it always includes the field name. For instance, I select Field A and Field B as active fields in the Object Data Manager and enter "x" and "y" respectively, as the fields' value. The callout then produces the text "Field A = x" and "Field B = y". I only want to display the field's value (i.e., x and y). I don't want or need the "Field A =" or "Field B" = " displayed.

In Paint.NET we can't edit texts.
Please build text layers feature in version 4.
I'm curious to know if there is a way to create slanting text with this program. I'm basically trying to create fliers for my band, and would like to have some neat text effects in there and not just have plain old 2D text.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to create a gradient fill, top to bottom of some text.To do this, I'm creating my text in a solid colour (can't seem to find a gradient fill on the text tool), then wand selecting the background inverting the selection then applying a gradient.
Unfortunately, applying the fill seems to make the text lose all smoothness (anti-aliasing?).I've tried feathering (using Boltbait) but even at 1 it's too aggressive and the text ends up too skinny.
How to maintain the anti-aliasing but also have a gradient.
My question is how do I create text in a curved line? I have a circular logo which I want to have a curved line of text above and below. I can create the text OK but I can't see how to make it curved.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have lots of vector text objects to add to my graphics. When I add a vector text object by default "Stroke" is selected and the "Fill" color is set to the current background color selected in the Materials palette. Is there a way to change this so that by default "Stroke" is cleared and the fill color is always black regardless of the current background color selection?

Since the image has different colors, the textcolor should ajust to the underlying image.
If the image color is dark, the color of the text sould be light or the other way round.
I just downloaded Paint.Net and have been enjoying playing with various text possibilities, but i'm stumped as to how to create a 'long shadow' look to a text title...
I managed to reflect the title, and with a couple of attempts, managed to rotate the text, and italicise the reflection, but i was looking for a way to 'stretch' the reflection - any moves/ plug ins that could achieve this?
Here's how far I've gotten with it - Attached Thumbnails

Do the following
- Open LR 4.0
- Chose a Collection set
- right click, "Create new Collection"
- The collection is created in the previous collection set and on in the one selected.
To me. It is more logic to place the new collection in to the selected collection set and not next to .

I was searching for capabilities to zoom in and out on a graphic and my search led me here. I just want to find out is Paint.Net is a library that can be useful to achive what I want. Here is a brief description of the task:
1. I need to develop a small application designated to conduct a survey of all the workstations in a company. The surveys will be conducted on tablets. Because our expertise is in .NET platform, we need to implement the application for Windows-based tablets;
2. I start with a bunch of floor plans (CAD drawings that can be formated in .bmp, .jpeg, .tiff or any other graphical format you can possibly think off;
3. As the surveyor walks around the offices, following the floor plan that was selected on the tablet, he/she needs to click on the floor plan and through a small form that pops-up, indicate whether the workstation/office that is surveyed was empty or occupied and if it was occupied, whether the person was on the phone, on the computer or in a collaboration. Simple checkboxes.
4. When a workstation was surveyed, I need to place a flag or a letter on top of the floor plan, just to indicate the location as being surveyed (floor plans can have up to 250 workstations and offices, so it's easy to miss some).
5. Because the floor plans tend to be huge, fitting all of the graphic file on the screen of a tablet may render the plan unreadable. So I need to build zoom in , zoom out capabilities. Pinch zoom in/zoom out, the iPad way, would be fantastic, but I need to find out if the tablet (Samsung or HP) supports that. Meanwhile, I can add scroll bars to move different areas of the plan into view and a slide control to zoom in and out.
My questions:
- Does the Paint.NET library have any functionality to allow me to zoom in and out of a graphic?
- Can I add icons (or letters - 'C' for on the computer, 'T' for on the phone, 'X' for empty) on top of the floor plan? I need to place them at the location of a click on the plan (need to get coordinates for that) but also need to memorize them so that if a certain area is taken out of the view and then brought back into view, I need to redraw all the icons/letters so that the surveyor doesn't survey the area again.
- Finally, at the end of the survey I need to print the entire floor plan and add all the icons (or letters) on top of the plan, to give the manager an overview of a snap-shot of the floor at a certain time of the day.
Can I do all these things with Paint.NET?
Is there a plugin that will place a watermark on my pictures?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to create a sloped wall by creating a mass in-place. First I draw a line on a surface at a pre-determined level that I've set up in elevation. Then I offset this line in the vertical plane. My next step is to offset this second line so that it is not directly above the original line, but offset in the horizontal plane. How do I change from a vertical to a horizontal offset? I’ve tried different work planes, but they all offset vertically.
