Paint.NET :: How To Create A Perfect Circle
Aug 8, 2013how to create a perfect circle, but how do I create that circle perfectly around a certain point or around the center of my square image (whose coordinates should be 50% of width/50% of height of my square image).
My second question is rather stupid.. Since this program was created to be a substitute for MS Paint and also has .net in the name... but will there ever be a linux version? I firmly believe that PDN would be more than capable competition to gimp.

May 25, 2011I know how to get the text on the cirle line but when I type in the text, it will only read from left to right. I want to put my text at the bottom of the circle and have in go left to right with the text right side up. But every time I try and put the text at the bottom of the circle the text is upside down and right to left.

Sep 21, 2012I want to create a gradient fill, top to bottom of some text.To do this, I'm creating my text in a solid colour (can't seem to find a gradient fill on the text tool), then wand selecting the background inverting the selection then applying a gradient.
Unfortunately, applying the fill seems to make the text lose all smoothness (anti-aliasing?).I've tried feathering (using Boltbait) but even at 1 it's too aggressive and the text ends up too skinny.
How to maintain the anti-aliasing but also have a gradient.

When I add a vector text object by default "Stroke" is selected and the "Fill" color is set to the current background color selected in the Materials palette. I follow the tutorial in the Xara Help, but cannot get the results shown. I draw the circle, compose the text, and set it to the middle Select both circle and text Arrange/Fit Text to Curve....the text appears around the lower, right side of the cirle After all this I am unable to manipulate the text (It's a piece of cake to do this in Publisher 2010, but it has some minor problems in appearance)

1. Create a black circle (not filled, just the outline)
2. Have a word on top (in this case, International) follow the path of the curve.
3. Have the words "Awareness Fund" on the bottom, right-side up
Here is the issue:
1. I can make the path for the circle but I cannot make it any given color, it just disappears when I click off of it. How do I do this?
2. I can get the word on the top to follow the curve, but I cannot break out of it.. I don't know the term. I cannot get the text tool to 'let go' of the previous word and start new ones.
3. When I try to put the words "Awareness Fund" on the bottom not only do I have the problem that it is still attached to the first word on top but the letters are upside down.. how do I convert them to be right-side up?
