How do I rename objects downloaded from the Mudbox Community that automatically inserts its self into Mudbox ?
I searched the Program Files Folder, the User Folder looking for the Object with the alpha numeric and numeric characters, and I couldn't find it.
I'm trying to extract a vector displacement map out of three objects.
All three of them are on the same UV tile, with no overlap between each other.
All three of them have the same subdivision level and share the same Mudbox material.
I choose "Generate one map for all targets".
When hitting extract, Mudbox tells me that :
"Subdivision based map extraction is available only when the number of source and target meshes are the same".
Well its the case. With the same order in target and source models (A-B-C)
Is there an easy way to paint weights across multiple objects? if I have a body + shirt + armor and want to create a joint and similar weights on all currently I found a very awkward way to do it which is do it on 1 object and manually try and paint weights in a similar way on all others.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue transferring an object I have sculpted in Mudbox, and trying to import it correctly to Maya. In Mudbox, both of my objects show up just fine (don't worry about the UV issue on the face). When I choose to 'send objects to Maya,' the objects display in a new scene, but the hair doesn't show up at all. In the Outliner, Maya displays an empty transform node titled 'hair,' but I can't get it to show up as a solid mesh within the scene.
Am I going to have to remodel the hair in mudbox again and just pray that the model will import to Maya without issues?
I started an animation requiring a multitude of objects and I'm starting to find it difficult to remember which one is which when they are all called "round rect," "rect 2 copy 2," etc. I found it easier to animate if I let them remain as objects rather than symbols, but it has started to become difficult to determine which object I need to animate next. I tried turning them into symbols, but it seems to complicate things more for me.

I just imported 278 photos and they are all correctly renamed within Lightroom however the source files retained the original Canon generated names. I want to rename them for backup/in case I ever decide to stop using Lightroom/etc.

However what I type is stored as the name of the text layer, so it knows I've typed something in, I just can't see it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded a nice building and want to destroy it like everybody else, in Rayfire. The problem i always get is that rayfire and 3ds crash when i try to fragment it. I use Convex simulation geometry and Voroni uniform as setting for fragmenting.
I dont know if these objects that i download are too complex for fracturing or if the geometry are intercepting each other inside the object. But if i stack basic shapes on top of each other everything works fine.
Also if i make a box, cut some holes in it and try to fracture it, rayfire fills the hole box and its not hollow anymore. I tried to add a "shell" to it so its not paper thin and fracture with the "voroni - thickness".
That seems to work in some way, but when i start simulation everything flies everywhere.I'm pretty new to 3ds, so i guess there are some basics i dont understand. How i can make outstanding special visual effects
in the gimp plug-in registry i downloaded 6 scm files... I hunted for folders in the gimp program folder to see if I can find any folders currently housing scm files but was unsuccessful at finding any... where am i supposed to put them?

View 6 Replies View RelatedOkay, so after a month of struggling to get Potoshop CS6 Extended Teacher Student Edition to work, I was playing around, downloading brushes and actions. The actions work. But I can't get the brushes to. I download them into the downloads file and then move them into program files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64bit) > Presets > Brushes
There are some other folders. The other one is in program files > Adobe > Adobe Bridge CS6 (64bit) Program Files (x86) > Adobe... And In that is Fllash player, Photoshop Utilites - CS6, Adobe Photoshop CS6, Adobe Extension Manager CS6, Adobe Bridge CS6 and Acrobat 5.0
In the program files and not Program Files (x86) And then when I moved the files into the brushes folder, I got something that said "You'll need to provide administator premission to copy to this folder." And then it asks to countunie, skip or cancel.
I downloaded picture package for CS5 and followed the read me file and still cannot get the picture package to work.

An unknown error has occured." now I can't Save For Web at all. I deleted the save for web preferences and I'm still getting the same error. I'm using Windows 7 Starter btw

I went to layer style but got stuck cause there's no option for downloaded style...I've got PS6.
I have PS CS3 and cannot figure out how to use free downloaded actions. I get them loaded and they show up in my actions folder but when I place my cursor on top of the play button, it turns to a circle with a line going through it, not allowing me to play it.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have purchased and downloaded presets from pretty presets and followed every instruction i can find online on how to get your presets to come up in the adjustment brush section but nothing at all is working, my PC automatically unzips the files and there is no install option available, i dont know what else i can try as i have tried everything i can find, i have also uninstalled lightroom 4 and then reinstalled it but nothing will get them into the adjustment brush area, i know all about how to open the lightroom folders through the preference section and i have tried to get them to show up by putting them into the local adjustments folder as well as the develop presets folder but neither work
View 2 Replies View RelatedIve been using lightroom for some time now and when I connect my cf card to the card reader lightroom starts and I select "import". I went to do the same as usual and it started up and I clicked import, the files started to download so I walked away. I came back an hour later and LR had frozen after the first few pictures. I gave it some time but then decided to cntrl alt dlt and end the task and tried to start over. It downloaded all of the images but they are not visible in LR. I can see all my previously downloaded images but not the new files. I can see the files and view them through my hard drive using the windows photo gallery viewer. I have checked for updates and my computer and LR are up to date, I also tried reinstalling LR and there is the same issue.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI had downloaded Photoshop CS6 from the official Adobe site here URL....product=photoshop), and wanted to only test it out. uninstalled all my Microsoft Visual C++ products, not knowing that these were important for Photoshop. Anyways, Photoshop was having all errors etc. and I had to uninstall it (the 30 days weren't over yet, by the way). Now I have downloaded the Microsoft C++ products again, and I wanted to download Photoshop CS6 Extended again - it all was installed it perfectly, but when I opened the program, it was just Photoshop CS6 and not Photoshop CS6 Extended (and I want it because of the 3D options etc.) - and I was using the same download link from above. So, why has it downloaded the "wrong" product now?
