When navigator window is open all changes reflect on the second screen using keyboard and mouse.When navigator windows is closed exposure, highlights, shadows ,whites and blacks do not reflect on the second screen with keyboard. All work with the mouse though.I use Windows 7 x 64 and Lightroom 4.3
View 2 RepliesI'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4) you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.
For the print module it seems as if Lightroom assumes a screen resolution of 96 ppi. My screen is 94 ppi, so the ruler and the prints are shown slightly smaller on the screen than reality. I would like to see the actual print size on the screen. Can the screen resolution be set, like the Unit & Rulers -> Screen Resolution setting in PS?
I am using LR 3.6.
I use lightroom almost daily, but I'm stumped on this. I am trying to export files to my portable hard drive, but it's not allowing me to choose that. The only options are from My Desktop and My Pictures, Etc. But My comptuer is not showing up?
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently bought and installed Lightroom5.2. Worked well, whereas since yesterday its not showing any files in the Import screen. So its getting so difficult to import any of the files from Canon 5D MarkIII or Canon 450D or Desktop folders.
However LR4 is opening all the images or files to import. When I tried it in LR5.2 its not showing any files. Tried all possible means based on the discussions in adobe. Still its not working.
I'm installing Lightroom 5 in a classroom of Macs with OS X 10.9. When another user logs on a to computer and starts Lightroom, Lightroom welcome screen pops up again and asks for country, and in next screen displays the serial number Lightroom was activated with. After pressing OK the user can proceed to use Lightroom. How to avoid the welcome screen from appearing to all users? Obviously we can't have the serial number leaking out to public like this. Luckily this came up while testing the installation.
The registration file seems to be in a correct location (/Library/Application support/Adobe/Lightroom/Lightroom 5.0 Registration)
When I press F for Full Screen and then the fwd. slash to see before/after nothing happens. Is this normal, if so it would be nice to see before and after in full screen.
I'm trying this in LR5 beta.
When clicking on Import, instead of the usual tool bar across the top of the screen, as I've seen in many videos, I get a very large bar across the middle of the screen. There probably is a toggel somewhere that allows you toswitche back and forth between the large bar and the normal one at the top. I have been watching a number of videos trying to learn LR but have not come across this issue/option. Currently, I have always moved my photos into a folder on an external drive and then inport to LR. Is that the problem?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently built a PC for photo editing, and I am receiving the BSOD at different points when Lightroom is open. The first time it happened was when I was moving about 1000 raw files from one folder to another (did it twice to me doing that). From there, I grabbed the latest video card driver from Nvidia, and I also went into the bios and set my memory back to "Auto" rather than 1600 (which is what it's rated for). Thought maybe it was hardware related. Everything was going fine, I did some editing, and then while it was just sitting there with LR3 open, I got the BSOD again.
Here is what I'm running:
CPU - i7 3.4ghz 2600k
Mobo - Asus P8Z68-V LX LGA 1155 Intel Z68
RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
System SSD - Corsair Force Series GT CSSD-F120GBGT-BK 2.5" 120GB SATA III
-I have Windows 7 64-bit, Photoshop CS5.5 and Lightroom 3 installed on this drive and I also have current project photo files stored on this. Once done editing, I export them to a 1TB HDD.

View 1 Replies View RelatedTrying to export a photo and the screen with options on where to export to does not show but it IS there. I know this because everything on the screen is unclickable, kinda like being froze but it's not. If I hit enter it attempts to "burn to disc" which makes me believe that is just somehow inivisible? I thought I may have a virus when it tried exporting an image to Outlook but after other program tests and running virus protection software without hits i'm thinkin this must be a LR issue, I am currently using 4.1 64bit version.
My process - tried waiting it out with no results as well.
Right click image > Export... > No screen, clicking anything is disabled. > Hit enter and burns to disc
Just recently I have been getting a 'dead space' in the center of my workspace in LR4. Whatever tool I am using will not work in the center of the screen.

System is a no-name PC, with AMD dual core 64 bit, Windows 7 64 bit, LR3 64 bit, 4GB ram, ATI Radeon X1200 graphics (On-Board).
I just bought Lightroom 4 (student version) and fully registered it. After importing photos to the library, nothing appears in the filmstrip on the bottom of the screen. Do I need to turn something on to make them appear? It is making navigation much more difficult while developing (I can only view one image at a time while developing).

View 12 Replies View RelatedI went to startup LR5.2 (local) and it all of a sudden did not get past the splash screen. It hung with a "Not Responding" in the title bar. I went to a backup file and the program seemed to operate normally. I did another backup to make sure I saved a good catalog. Today the same thing happened. I again went back to the backup and that did not seem to work. I have tried a number of things including deleting all of the preview files and upgrading to version 5.3.
Up until the other day LR5.2 was operating without any problems. One more thing. I finally got it to work by deleteling all of the preview files and going back to my backup. It starts up and seems to be ok; however, when I close the program and try to re-start .. it again does not get beyond the splash screen.
I have subscribed to the CC version of PS + LR but I am only using PS - have not downloaded LR5 for CC.
I did increase the RAW space to 30 Gig and there is 119 Gig of space on the hard drive. I use an i5 processor and run the 64 bit version of LR.
I noticed a "focus" problem using dual screen. When i activate the "Loupe" (1:1 mode) view on the 2nd screen, and i browse my pictures in the developp module (using the film strip and arrows on keyboard for example). The view on the 2nd screen is not displayed as sharp as it should be.
If i touch the detail slider (change the value and make it back to its previous value) the picture is update correctly (sharp) . Do not happen when i use the loupe in "one screen mode".
How to have full-screen on both monitor and image adapted to full-screen.
View 3 Replies View RelatedUp until now lightroom has behaved perfectly, now when i make an adjustment in the develop screen, the picture just goes grey. If i switch to library then back I get the picture back in the develop screen with adjustments made. This means that I cannot see to make fine adjustments. I have reloaded from lightroom4.4 all the way back upto lightroom 5 and there is no difference.is there a setting i have accidently changed?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried twice to export a slideshow of 373 photos from LR4, using the 1080P preset. An mp4 file of 3.21 GB is created and it opens in a Quicktime player screen. The player shows 40 minutes of playtime and appears to start, but no images come up on the black screen. The images were created from Nikon raw files, and I am using an iMac running OS X 10.7.5. I am using QuickTime Player 10.1 for playback, but I've also tried QuickTime Player 7 with the same results. What gives?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I preview or play a slideshow in Lightroom 5 I see a black screen. I've tried it using various settings, images, lengths, and with the show saved or unsaved, all with the same result. In a preview I can see the show advancing through the slides; all remain black.
Sometimes (unpredictably) the screen isn't black, but rather two colors or color washes separated diagonally.
There are no videos in the shows. (A black screen for a slideshow with a video as the first slide is a known issue mentioned in the Lightroom Journal.)
Exporting to pdf works properly. An exported video shows as a black screen.
(Mac Pro, OS X 10.7.5, Radeon X1900 XT video card)
In the Slideshow module, The slideshow will not display the images when played, just a black screen

View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't want to appear dense but Lightroom 5 appears to be stuck in full screen (Windows 7 64 bit). The FILE, EDIT, ... drop down menus only appear after carefully hovering near the top of the screen and the minimize, full screen, and close buttons never appear. I don't want to close LR to check email, browse, or kill time while it is rendering previews.
