I've been using LR3 for over a year - current version 3.6. For no apparent reason, the 'Make second copy' menu item no longer shows in the import panel. Imported files are copied to the location specified the last time the item was available. I've looked in all of panels, but don''t find any way to disable the second copy function, or to manage the second copy function. I'm running MAC 10.6.8.
For some reason, every panel is now missing it's associated menu bar. I've tried doing research for a command to restore them using a MEL command, but to no avail. I did nothing to remove them in the first place.
I am working on a plugin for adobe illustrator CS6 by using adobe CS6 SDK. By using this plugin I need to add a Me nu Item In File Menu of Adobe Illustrator.
I have used the following code for this: ______________________________________________________________________ ________ SPBasicSuite *mBasic = message->d.basic; AIMenuSuite *sAIMenu; mBasic->AcquireSuite(kAIMenuSuite,kAIMenuVersion, (const void**)&sAIMenu); SPPluginRef plugin;
The usual import menue has the options for importing on the right hand side. My system is now showing an import dialouge box and the import dialouge on the right is greyed out. How do I get back to the standard import screen.
I just installed LR5 and discovered that the pre-defined panel end marks (PanelTerminator) disappeared with the new release (with the exception of one small decorative image). Is this a bug or did Adobe drop this feature (because, perhaps, they discovered that 99% of all users basically disabled the markers anyway)?
I just loaded LR4 on my new mac laptop and in Library mode, The "Folders" and the "Catalog" tabs are missing and in Develop mode, the "Presets" tab and "Snapshots" tab is missing. I deleted the progrm off my laptop completely and reloaded it and the same thing happened. How do I get these tabs back?
I have Lightroom 4.0, and I'm editing pictures, but I have come to notice that the panel between the Filmstrip and the Viewer is missing. This was the panel that gave me the ability to check the "Show Mask Overlay" and set the Mask Pins to different display options (Auto, Hide, Show, etc.). I can't figure out how to get it back. Toggling all of the panels does not work.
The metadata folder in the library module is missing in the right panel. It was present when I first purchased Lightroom 3 but has since disappeared from view, but don't know exactly when.
My Publish Services panel is enabled and visible, but it is empty. All Publish Services are invisible. However, it seems they are still there, because from a photo I can "Goto Collection" and select the Published Collection that it's in. In grid view, this takes me to the screen where it shows me Published Photos, Modified Photos, etc. But I cannot create new Published Collections.
I am using Lightroom 5.2 64-bit on Windows 7. This problem only arose recently without any known trigger. I've had this problem before but it went away on it's own after I published from a different catalog.
In LR5 I am trying to import a folder but it is so deep within my hard drive that there are lots of parent folders I have to click through to get to it. The problem is that the left pane is only a few inches wide and by the time I get closer to the folder I wan, I can't see it. It seems like I should be able to simply widen the panel by clicking and dragging the edge of the panel but no slider arrows appear when I hover there. How do I widen the panel?
I had an old phone that I used to connect to my computer but it has been lost for a while now. When I go to import images from lightroom, the first device that Lightroom 4 sees is the old phone. How can I get rid of this device when I go to import images?
I'm trying to make a script that will duplicate an item in the project panel. I know you can duplicate an item in a comp, but I'd like to duplicate a project Item...app.project.item(2).duplicate();
2011-10-26 The "Edit In" context menu that appears when I right-click an image in the Develop module has forgotten about my NIK and Topaz filters. Still in my C:Documents and SettingsOwnerApplication DataAdobeLightroomExternal Editor Presets directory are these files
Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete.lrtemplateColor Efex Pro 4.lrtemplateDfine 2.0.lrtemplateSharpener Pro 3.0- (1) RAW Presharpener.lrtemplateSharpener Pro 3.0- (2) Output Sharpener.lrtemplateSilver Efex Pro 2.lrtemplateSilver Efex Pro.lrtemplateTopaz Fusion Express 2.lrtemplateViveza 2.lrtemplate but the "Edit In" menu does not present them to me. I must've changed something in Edit > Preferences or Edit > Catalog Settings, but I don't know what. how to restore these tools to the "Edit In" menu without having to reinstall them?
A folder does not appear in my import menu. It is there on my hard drive and in my Photoshop Elements organizer. I want to import photos from the folder into Lightroom 4. What can I do?
I have importet pictures from mu card. No problem. But I needed the same pictures only with very important metadata, that my collegue made. So I got the pictures from him om a stick. Lightroom refuse to import them. I have tryed to delite the pictures from my card, so that Lightroom don´t think that they are allready there. But I still can´t import the pictures.
I have developed a script that act on the layers individually so it would be great if I could add a new command in the layer context menu (the one that has Blending Options..., Duplicate and Delete Group, Copy,Paste and Clear Style and add or remove colors from the "eye" icon, etc...
I know that you can add the script to File/Scripts submenu but if I had access to it directly from that context menu, it would be much better. I have seen a script that adds a new top menu item to the menu bar of the ESTK so I am hopeful it can be done something similar in PS.
I am trying to create an action to create a new layer by copying the bg layer, add a layer mask to the new layer and then start the Tilt Shift filter. All works until I go Insert Menu Item and choose Blur>Tilt Shift. It just doesn't get added to the action. Other menu items do work. I'm assuming this is an oversight in the implementation of CS6?Can't see that that can be the case.
When writting scripts to Photoshop I can use the app.runMenuItem() method to acess commands in the menus. For example: app.runMenuItem (charIDToTypeID("ZoomIn")) will run the Zoom In command.
Does Illustrator have any such method (or accepts anything like action description) to enable us to acess it´s menu items? For example acess Expand comnand, or Object > Live Paint > Make..
I have been going crazy trying to get my custom scripts to appear in the "Scripts" menu item under "File" in Illustrator CS4. I've tried placing them in Presets > Scripts, I've tried creating a folder under "Plug-Ins" called "Scripts" and placing them there, and several other places in an attempt to find anything that will work, but so far nothing has. I've also tried deleting the Illustrator Prefs but that didn't work.
illustrator scripting but have some knowledge in indesign scripting using javascript.In Indesign we can disable menu item thru menuActions.. Is there any object available like that to disable a existing menu (eg. File>Save).
When I import files into LR2.7 It seems to skip some NEF's but I get the previews though. The folder with all the files is on the desktop but I get the usual message that the file is missing
In lightroom 4 when I import images it does not show all the images in the folder. I have deleted the folder from lightroom and attempted to reload it. When I did it had the same problem it did not show about half or the images in the folder. I went back to the folder and check all the images and could not find anything wrong with the images.
