I am trying to load my presets in Lightrooom 5 on my new iMac. I can't find the Adobe folder in Application Support. Lightroom is loaded on my computer because I can load pictures and edit, but I can not load presets or brushes.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using GIMP for a few weeks now and all of a sudden I cannot start the program anymore. During start up of GIMP 2.8 it displays a window saying it is loading data files. It gets as far as loading 'Tool presets' when it crashes. I tried restarting the computer and also uninstalling and re-installing GIMP with the same end result.

They are still in develop presets but there not showing up and Ive tried deleting them and adding them again then closing out of lightroom 4 and going back in but I can not seem to get them to show up again. Do you know which folder they should be in (indise the Lightroom Presets folder)

No Preview images appear .. when I press the import button ALL of the images in a folder on an external hard drive are imported .. They appear as they Import

I have a book and have tried every site I can find but I do not know what the problem is. I have whole folders of images showing the ? but when I try to locate they are not showing anywhere in my finder. There is a whole group from August to October 2012. I am at my wits end. I am tired of going to Lens Correction in the Develop mod to put the nikon lens in that I used for the shoot. It is always turned off and I would like to have it activated when I import my shots. I know that while in the Develop mod, I can change it for one photo and then use "sync" to have it address all the other photos. But then it is a pain in the butt. There must be a way of doing it on import. Either that or else have it recognize the lens that I used automatically.

How do I transfer images worked in lightroom onto my mac when I get back from vacation?
I’m moving pictures from my old HP LIGHTROOM to my new iMAC LIGHTROOM and have discovered that my pictures tend of vanish from both, so that I’m left completely unsure if any picture I move to or import into LIGHTROOM on my iMAC will be there permanently. I’ve experienced this software instability in LIGHTROOM on my PC and was hoping if I moved to the iMAC the problem would be resolved, but I see it is an inherent and significant bug in the LIGHTROOM software. I’ve had the entire contents of the catalogs on both my PC and iMAC disappear requiring me to re-import the pictures (resulting in even random duplications} and to reenter and re-annotate metadata for thousands of pictures. I have searched in vain for any satisfactory explanation, most of all from Adobe, what might be going on here and how to prevent or alleviate the problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to print in Elements 11, after clicking "Print/Page Setup/Presets/Show Presets", the box freezes. Clicking Cancel or OK does not work. I then have to Force Quit Elements to clear it. Apple say that it is a problem with Elements. Using the same procedure in other applications, clicking Cancel or OK does work.

I use an iMac with LR3. I would like to know if it is possible to enlarge the image so as to fill the screen. I have tried Window>screen mode> full screen and pressing L to get rid of panels but there is still a large black margin around the image.

I need to import (copy) a large amount of RAWs, but LR hangs unperiodically durring import. While trying to kill LR (or reboot) my iMac freezes such, that I need to power off!
