Lightroom :: 5.3 On IMac - One Photo In This Print Job Which Is Missing Its Source File
Jan 25, 2014
when I try to print I get this message "There is one photo in this print job which is missing its source file" I've tried many photos, same message. I've already tried to reinstall (and update to 5.3) Lightroom.
How to set cute pdf to always auto print in same directory as source file. Also use source file name except with .pdf extension. I would like to add a macro to my save button so it does this automatically and never have to convert again. This would also be useful for dwf format also. Disk drives are massive now so no need to save space.
When I open Photoshop Elements 10 Editor to edit a text layer on a 511KB 412x292 psd photo the text layer is not shown. How do I open the text layer? How do I edit the text layer? How do I save the finished work product? The background layer is locked. I can't unlock it. I have tried any number of approaches none of which open the text layer for editing.
How to ADD (almost) white Border around photo(s) to print in print module (not for creating a JPEG) WITHOUT TRIMMING the photo?
I dont understand why I'm so stupid not to be able to acheeve this simple task with Lightroom WITHOUT TRIMMING the image (altering it's proportion and cutting away photo-content)
(on light-gray backgrownd for instance, to use as cutting indications. I know how to use cutting-indications for images i print without a border)
(i do not whant to use workarounds, the kind of preparing "identity plates", a new one each for infinite variations of proportions to use as fullblown-up backgrounds..)
I am trying to print a 16" x 20" photo through Lightroom's print module. I am using an Epson 3880 printer and 17" x 22" paper. I have done this in Lightroom 4 with no problems. Now I am getting a print that is 16-3/8" x 20-1/2". I have the cell size set at 16" x 20" and borderless printing is turned off. I also checked zoomed to fill. This has also happened on a couple of 12" x 18" photos.
I can't print from Photoshop cs5 on an imac running lion 10.7.4- when I try to print to either my Epson or canon printer it says disk error. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, downloading the latest patch, and clearing the preferences. Do I need to upgrade my operating system?
About half a dozen or so print templates I created myself seem to have gone missing, possibly in the upgrade from LR3 to LR4 although I can't be sure about that, maybe since. Where can I look for them?
I am using lightroom 3.2. I edited some photos for a client and he wanted something turned into black and white. I went b ack into my library to re-edit the photo and it says the folder is not available and the "photo is missing". It is saying the original photo is not able to be found. I exported the edited folders into a folder on my desktop which is a process that I always do. I am confused as to why it is saying this, I have never seen this message before. I cannot access any of my photos.
I was able to fix issue of "offline", so at least LR is seeing the right drive. HOWEVER see all the ? next to folders? and where did the extra LR CATALOG PREVIEWS Irdata folder come from with no question mark?
I use an iMac, Lion OS and Lightroom3. I store all my photo files (approx. 50,000) on a Drobo RAID system. Apple replaced my iMac HD. I connected an external 750GB G-Drive for Time Machine back-up. Since there was not sufficient memory on the G-Drive, I set the Time Maching to ignore my Picures. After moving the pictures over to the Drobo and deleting the Pictures on the iMac HD, my Lightroom files went missing. I used the Locate File option to find one of the missing files. Before I initiated this, the folder in the library showed 640 files. After locating the missing file, the folder shows 0 files. The missing file is now showing and available.
Using Photoshop CS5 and Windows 7. How do I get a photo file (jpg) to print at specific dimensions? For instance, I have a file open in Photoshop and it's dimensions are: width-3872 pixels and height-2592 pixels. I want to print and have the print size be 10 inches by 8 inches without distorting the image.
I get a pop up of "Save Files To Folder", but no file names are present, so "save" does nothing. I have all the boxes checked in Print Job, e.g. print to Jpeg file. I have searched, re-read Kelby etc. and come up blank. I have a profile entered for a custom lab.
I am saving an adobe illustrator file as a jpeg for print at a photo center. When I export to save with a 300ppi, the photo center (Target) doesn't recognize the jpeg file. When I save for web, the photo center recognizes the file, but it prints very low quality (pixelized). Both jpegs are being saved at high quality.
I am trying to print a photo on my Canon MX870 that has been edited (cropped and a few slight lighting changes) in Elements 9 , the colours look good on the screen but when I print it looks different, . I have the colour settings from the Edit menu set to "always optimize for printing". The file information shows the camera data as colour space sRGB.
I am using canon inks (all full) and canon matte photo paper and I selected the matte photo paper on the paper type in printer settings.
I have printed good photos before on this printer (I think using photo gallery) but was not using photoshop elements at the time. Does it make any difference if the photo is saved as a jpeg file or a pse file?
I want to create a image file with six passport photos on a 4x6 photo print page. To do that I was asked to do the following:
take a photo yourself, crop it down to a 2x2 square, then copy and paste this into a 2 by 3 tile pattern (4x6 in. canvas size). You now have them print out a 4x6 photo
