I'm getting a new computer. How do I get LR 4.1 and all of my presets from my old Vista machine over to the new machine running Windows 7? Same question for PS 5. Can I use a program such as Acronis True Image to selectively copy programs from my old machine to the new one?

I recently reformatted my computer and I just realized that I lost all of my export presets even though I copied the catalog over. I've searched Finder in the all the usual places that Adobe programs store user data but I can't find them. where I can find my export presets to copy to my new home folder?

By default the presets folder is located at C:UsersusernameAppDataRoamingAdobe. I use Lightroom on both a desktop and laptop and ideally I'd like to sync the presets between them by moving the presets folder to my SkyDrive folder. This way if I create a new preset on one device, it will automatically sync to the other device via SkyDrive.
Yes I realize I can store presets within the catalog folder and I could move my catalog to a SkyDrive folder which would technically accomplish my goal. However that would require sync'ing my entire catalog which I do not want to do; that would generate a lot of syncing traffic back and forth all the time. So I want my catalog and my presets in seperate locations, and I want to define where my presets are stored, which I haven't seen an option for.

I am having trouble getting my presets to show up under presets on the left hand side of the screen. They are still in develop presets but there not showing up and Ive tried deleting them and adding them again then closing out of lightroom 4 and going back in but I can not seem to get them to show up again. I just installed PS-CC and LR5 on a new computer after a catastrophic failure on the old one, which was running PS-CS6 and LR4. Is there a way to recover my custom settings and presets from a full backup of the old computer and apply them to the new applications on the replacement computer? I have full backups, but no export data for any of the settings or presets. And because the old computer is dead, I can't just run an export.

Autocad 2012 LT locks up when using the copy and move commands. This last for a minute or more then starts working again. The rest of the computer works fine while this is going on. Intel i7 2600 16 GB ram Nvidia G force GTX 460 video card, Windows 7 Home Edition with SP 1 and latest upgades.

I redownload Adobe 10 onto my new 8.1 Computer from the Adobe website. Using the new download, I was able to open the Catalogue on the External Drive (F). Cannot find a way to "relocate" the Catalogue to the new computer. The pictures have already been copied to the new computer.
I have switched my "mouse" over to the number keypad like it says to do for the touchpad computer. I go to tranform image size and the outline surrounding the photo only moves up/down or side-to-side. How do I get the outline to move at the corners so I can easily manipulate the size? Either way - FN, CTRL, Win or other buttons do nothing to enlarge photo to where I want to set it. How can I accomplish this - any experts on touchpad conversion to number keypads out there? I then have to Force Quit Elements to clear it. Apple say that it is a problem with Elements. Using the same procedure in other applications, clicking Cancel or OK does work.

When LR5.3 opened at the end of the process, all of my Import, Export, or Develop presets were gone. all of those folders are empty (for example C:UsersmePicturesLightroomLightroom SettingsDevelop PresetsUser Presets shows "This folder is empty"), and when i open LR 4.4 (the previous install), the presets are gone as well.
