When I use the web uploading feature to upload to a web gallery, a window pops up 90% through the upload saying 'an error occurred sending the file : an unknown error occurred.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working with Lightroom 4.4 to upload photos to Blurb. Two weeks ago, I tried this with 44 page photobook and it worked fine. In the past few days, I made a new book (205 pages) and it simply give an error message in the middle of an uploading process. I'm wondering if starting this all over again is the only option. The error message simply states there was an error during the uploading process and nothing more.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having a new issue with my Lightoom (4) Suddenly, every time I try to upload photos into Lightroom, I get a "Files Cannot be Read" message. I have never had this problem before. SOmetimes it will upload a few out of the bunch, but not all of them. I have tried to change all my permissions settings to "Read & Write" but am still not having any luck. It seems that it works sometimes, but mostly not.

I need to install the profile downloader, which downloads as a ".air" file. I've uninstalled Adobe Air and reinstalled the latest version but when I try to install the "Adobe_Lens_Profile_Downloader_1_0_1.air" file I get the message:
an error has occurred.
This application cannot be installed because this installer has been misconfigured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
I upgraded from LR2 to 3 a while ago, and recently, I've had an odd problem opening my lightly edited files into CS4. I just do command E on my mac, and they open right into CS4. When the image(s) open, they almost seem completely desaturated? I shoot a nikon D700, raw, copy the NEF files into LR3 upon import, do light edits in LR (white balance, recovery, tone curve, some adjustment brush...) and then will open selected files into CS4 for futher tweaking. Why these images are doing this? If I go back into lightroom and "reset all settings" and then open, the images open fine.

For the past one year I have been regularly editing my photographs in Photoshop (CS5 and CS3) and uploading them on my blog and my fb page.
However since the past 45 days I edited 5 albums in Photoshop but have not been able to upload a single photo on fb or on any other page. I moved browsers trying chrome, fire fox and even IE but nothing worked. I then formatted my laptop and reinstalled CS5 only to know that too was not useful.
I tried editing some photos in basic picassa and that worked well and was able to upload photos on fb and my blog. I then tried uploading some old photos (edited in photoshop) and they are getting uploaded. So I am sure this is a recent problem with photoshop.
I created a Web Gallery and forgot to update the folder name for the FTP server.
How can I update the saved gallery? If you change module and double click again on the saved gallery icon, the changes are lost.

How do you solve this without the need to delete and save the gallery again?

I'm trying to upload a video into YouTube straight from my Video Studio ProX3. Was able to do it successfully with a video just 2 days ago but for some reason, doing a different video (same videocam & format) it's giving me this error message "The entity name must immediately follow the ',&' in the entity reference". And it won't upload or let me proceed. I have no clue what this means, i tried redoing it and changing the video file name and no luck.

I don't understand what this means. Why can't I upload my picture? Am I clicking the wrong thing? I go under "File" in the upper left corner and scroll to "Open As... Alt+Shift+Ctrl+O" then it brings me to my photos I have saved on my computer, then I click on the photo I want to edit but the "Error" sign pops up. I've been using Photoshop Elements 5.0 for a few years now on my PC running Vista. Beginning just a few days ago (and unconnected to any updates of which I am aware), I started getting an error when I tried to delete or import files in the Organizer. The error says: ODBC data source [Microsoft] [ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot open database "I". It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt. The photos are there - I can see them in Windows Photo Gallery. I can delete photos from there as well. Just not in Organizer. Wondered if anyone might be able to point me in a good direction for a fix?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased Lightroom 4. I have edited my photos and saved them as JPEG. I exported them to my computer and wanted to select some for my Picasa web album. I have never resized previously and uploaded full size as I thought they are my back up if I lost everything here.
Anyway when I tried to upload to Picasa it said the image was too large. Some were around 3-4MB which i thought was ok?
I submit a set of photos for an upload to Facebook in ascending order by capture time. In Facebook they show up in reverse order. Is there a setting I am missing or do I need to sort the photos in descending order in LR to get them to show up in an ascending order in FB?

I have exported many photos from lightroom to my desktop and then brought them into iphoto. I then went to upload some of those photos, now in iphoto to websites like snapfish, etc. to develop prints or make cards. When I upload these photos to the website, they often look poor in comparison when I look at the same image in iphoto.I then emailed myself the same photo and renamed the image. The photo then uploads true to what it looks like in iphoto. Am I not exporting these images correctly?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a great time using the Web Photo Galleries in Photoshop CS and CS2, especially since I'm fairly deft with HTML and a total Flash dunce, so the Web Photo Gallery Flash 1 and Flash 2 templates have served me well and allowed me to make fun Flash stuff without having to learn. But, with learn-by-doing, there often comes a point of confusion, and I think I've found mine.
I noticed that (when using the gallery "Flash 1"), if I click the little ? in the bottom right, the file name will come on and stay on throughout all the pictures. This is exactly what I want since that's where I do all my captioning and it really adds something for me to be able to see that. My question: how in the world do I get it to do this by default? I'm always telling friends/family, "oh, click the little ? in the bottom right and it'll show the captions," but am certain there must be some way to do this by default.
I fiddled in the galleryconfig.xml file, but there's only this line

It is gorgeous that one can preserve the text size, hatch size, dimension size, etc. regardless the scale the drawing is going to be printed with.
For example, if the text size, hatch size, dimension size, etc. are proper as the drawing is printed with a scale of 1:100 then how about printing this drawing with a scale of 1/50 and 1/200?
A scale of 1:50 looks fine (attached)
A scale of 1:200 has some overlaps! (attached)
Then how to get a nice drawing (dimension size, text size, hatch size) when printing the drawing with a scale of 1/200? In other words, how the annotation objects can be adjusted proportionally such that no overlaps and distortion is occurred?
