Oct 1, 2013My D800 images are not correctly exported to disk. After some images exported the rest of the selected images are deleted on the disk after exportation.

Sep 12, 2013Upon importing raw images from D800 into LR5, some of the images appear as pixelated (kind of like what u see sometimes before the image gets completely rendered). Are these corrupted? Is it my card or the import process or my camera?

Sep 12, 2013I can't seem to import all my raw images from D800 in a single shot. It imports a few and displays a box saying some of the images were not imported (gives me a range). Re-importing fetches a few more before the msg is displayed again. I have to repeat this several times (7-10) before all images (250) are imported.

Sep 18, 2013I just checked whether the update to 5.2 would improve speed of rendering images in the Develop module for Nikon D800 NEF files but alas, LR is still taking its time to render images and going back and forth between two or more D800 NEF files to check focus at 100% magnification remains an excercise in meditation....
I had initially hoped that the move from LR 4.x to LR 5 would improve things but this wasn't the case - so when will Adobe finally catch up with the development in cameras with ever bigger files? The Nikon D800 came out one full year ago...

Jun 19, 2013I just purchased LR5 as an upgrade from 4. I was noticing my images were quite smooth when exporting to Jpeg with LR4. It seems now there is alot more graininess that wasn't the issue before.

Images that are exported under LR 3.6 can't be imported there. M.Objects is a Windows application.So I threw 3.6 into trash, and installed LR 3.5 again. Now it works again properly!!
Lightroom :: Exported Images Are Dull In JPEG?
Apr 5, 2014I'm having the issue where after working with RAW images and having exported them to JPEG they come out dull and less saturated.
I'm running Windows 7, LR 5.2. My monitor has been professionally calibrated, and I'm using Irfanview to view the jpegs afterwards. I've also made sure that I'm saving them in sRGB.
Lightroom :: 3.5 - Can Filename Be Printed On Exported Images?
May 22, 2012I'm using LR 3.5, and am wondering if I can have the filenames show on the images when I export them. If so, how do I make that happen? I am already watermarking a copyright script, which I suppose I could change to include the image name, but that would be pretty tiresome to do. I assume there is an easy way to do this that I just haven't found.

Mar 2, 2014I'm now switching from Aperture to Lightroom. But now I've big troubles with my geotagged images (+40'000) I export my photos with a seperate XMP files. In Bridge is see the GPS-Tag but when I import the photos in Lightroom then the location isn't imported!

Lightroom :: Delete Images From Disk
Oct 16, 2012I have LR 4.2 on Windows 7 x64 (having recently upgraded from LR3).After flagging images in a collection as rejected I want to remove them from disk.In LR3 I just clicked Ctrl + Backspace and I had the option to delete from disk or just remove from catalogue, I don't get that option in LR4
worked fine in LR3. I've searched the preferences and can't see any option, I've also clicked "reset all dialogues" in case that was hiding the option but still nothing. I've tried in Library and Develop and no option still, I can only remove from catalog

May 28, 2012when I hit CMD and backspace, in order to delete images from disk, I only have the option to 'remove' photos. Up until tonight I always had to choose whether to remove them or delete from disk. Not sure what has changed or what I have done wrong, it's always worked before. I'm using an imac and LR4.

Sep 26, 2012My images won't always sync. Basically I loaded images into Lightroom 4.1 using the auto tone feature. What I'm attempting to do is simply copy my settings from one image with exposure and contrast both set to "0" then syncing them to the rest of my images. (700+) I like the auto tone for sahdows/highlights, and white/blacks, obviously the exposure has been the issue with auto tone. However I find when i can start with my exposure and contrast at 0 this gives me a great starting point. But it won't sync all of them.

Just try to enter some graphical text using two different (uncommon) fonts... Export as SVG and re-import the file as a new document into CorelDRAW...
@ Corel: Either drop the SVG format from your import/export formats drop down box or get the standard correctly implemented.

Jan 6, 2014I'm going through older photos that were edited elsewhere and then added to my catalogue as DNGs while I was using Lightroom 4. Now as I go back, they are not loading correctly with my edits, but they were on Lightroom 4. Did something happen during the upgrade? Or is there a way to get them to register my edits?

Apr 28, 2013I know that I have on occasion gotten stupid and selected "Remove" after marking images as rejected, when I meant to select Delete From Disk. I believe this means I have image files on my hard drive that no longer appear in the Lightroom catalog, but I don't want them at all. I meant to move them to the trash bin, but, like I said, just hit the wrong button for some reason.
Is there any way I can search for images still in my folders on my hard drive (where I save them when imported in Lightroom) that no longer appear in my catalog? I'd like to clean up my hard drive before transfering images to a new computer.

Mar 23, 2013Using Lightroom 4.3 with Camera RAW 7.3 on latest MacBook Pro with 256 GB SSD harddisk, 8 GB internal memory bought 2 months ago. Hardware shows no other problems or malfunctioning, no issues with RAM or otherwise.
Started Lightroom 4.3 did an import from perfect images (viewed before using various other software packages) stored on the harddisk. Used option ADD to add to the catalog. Almost immediately certain images were showing missing areas or areas with pink/white stripes, etc.
I didn't even touch the images to view or edit them. The images were corrupted on disk as previewing them with other software packages showed.
CorelDRAW X4 :: SRGB Color Values Not Exported Correctly On PDF Export
Feb 16, 2012When I export vector graphics to RGB/sRGB and open the pdf in another software (like Serif Page Plus, Adobe etc.), the color values are variying a little bit.
For example, my gray value of a logotype in Corel was 118, 115, 113. Now I export as pdf (many logical!! setting of CM tried!!!), any other software that opens the document - also CORRECT CM settings - values are 117, 115, 112. --- The same light variations nearly anytime with any RGB color. Not possible to create vector pdfs of logos for my clients correctly this way! Really bad.
Instead of starting a discussion about Color Management Settings, could any professional, maybe a Corel member check this behaviour in practice and give me a feed-back!? - In the best case let me know the complete settings for Corel CM and pdf Export to get the RGB pdf export done correctly.
(I am currently using X4, but know that same behaviour from X3 and passed again hours to try really all reasonable CM and export combinations, at least I think so. Windows7 and WindowsXP)
Photoshop :: Nikon D800 RAW Files - Images Not Shown After Download
Mar 30, 2012I just shot my first batch of RAW images using the new Nikon D800. When I downloaded the images using Bridge the thumbnails in the download dialog shows the images. But after download the images are not being shown. Instead I get an icon. If I double click on an image I get a message that camera RAW doesn't recognize the file and a recommendation to update.
I have checked updates from within Bridge and from Photoshop and both tell me that everything is up to date. Photoshop tells me the camera RAW plug in is 6.6 and that is the latest shown on the Adobe download page. According the the information page 6.6 is compatible with the D800.
Lightroom :: Should It Import Settings From Disk Or Overwrite Disk Settings From The Catalog

The metadata for one or more of these photos has been changed by another application. Should Lightroom import settings from disk or overwrite disk settings with those from the catalog?
What exactly does that mean? This seems to happen every time I export an image to PS (CS5) and return to LR. What exactly has changed? What settings are being imported if I choose 'import settings from disk'.
