I'm using Windows 8 and LR 4.3. My watermark does not appear on exported images eventhough the box is checked in the export presets. Also many typefaces available in MAC are not in Windows. Where I might find the same typeface I use on my Macbook and add to Windows?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI accidentally deleted a collection I was working on from lightroom 4 and the files were NOT backed up. All of the photos were edited and had my watermark on them. I exported all pictures into an album on my computer. I thought I could import them back in and lightroom would recognize the history and I would be able to remove my watermark. I need to create a disc for a customer and I NEED to get the watermark off. Is there a way to some-how retrieve the deleted collection from lightroom, or remove the watermark from the re-imported pictures?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI would like the file number text to show up on some of my exported JPG images. I need this for the purpose of looking up the original file. All I see in the watermark section is the ability to hard code text only. Is there a way to do this inside LR? Perhaps a plugin?
Alternately, is there 3rd party utility to do this to a whole folder of exported JPGs? That would be messy, but I really need to ID certain event photos ON the photo.
I'd like to export images from Lightroom 4 with a watermark. It COULD be text, but I want to rotate the watermark 30 degrees. I can't see a way to do that in the watermark editor in Lightroom...
Alternatively, I created the watermark in Photoshop, put in the text, rotated it, and saved it as a jpeg. I can't get a clear background. It appears jpeg doesn't support that. SO, I saved it as a .png (jpg and png appear to be the only two formats supported for a graphic watermark in Lightroom). It looks FINE, except in Photoshop the text is WHITE, which is what I want in Lightroom, but every time I open the .png file in the watermark editor in Lightroom, it comes in with BLACK text...
How do I get a Lightroom export watermark with the text I want in the font I want, angled the way I want?
I just purchased LR5 as an upgrade from 4. I was noticing my images were quite smooth when exporting to Jpeg with LR4. It seems now there is alot more graininess that wasn't the issue before.

I'm using a very basic Ariel Black text, medium size and very clear. The watermark appears fine in the photo preview but does not show up when exported to my Lightroom library file! If I export to a TIFF image it's fine but just not in JPEG.

Images that are exported under LR 3.6 can't be imported there. M.Objects is a Windows application.So I threw 3.6 into trash, and installed LR 3.5 again. Now it works again properly!!
I'm having the issue where after working with RAW images and having exported them to JPEG they come out dull and less saturated.
I'm running Windows 7, LR 5.2. My monitor has been professionally calibrated, and I'm using Irfanview to view the jpegs afterwards. I've also made sure that I'm saving them in sRGB.
I'm using LR 3.5, and am wondering if I can have the filenames show on the images when I export them. If so, how do I make that happen? I am already watermarking a copyright script, which I suppose I could change to include the image name, but that would be pretty tiresome to do. I assume there is an easy way to do this that I just haven't found.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm now switching from Aperture to Lightroom. But now I've big troubles with my geotagged images (+40'000) I export my photos with a seperate XMP files. In Bridge is see the GPS-Tag but when I import the photos in Lightroom then the location isn't imported!
Why isn't the GPS-Coordination not included?
My D800 images are not correctly exported to disk. After some images exported the rest of the selected images are deleted on the disk after exportation.

It looks fine in the develop pane, but when I move to library module the sharpening and spot removal disappear (and reappear when I switch back to develop). The exported images are the same as the view in Library mode. How do I get the exported images to have the sharpening and spot removal that I've done in develop?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have an action in which it will place an image onto an image like a watermark, when i place the image, it is not center by center so i drag it or use keyboard arrows to center and then press enter, then i saw its on the center, but when i save it, the saved image is not on the center, how was that?
you can see that the right side of border it is not centered because the left side border is thicker than right side, here is the part of the action
you can see that i move the image after i place it because its not on the center so adjusting it makes it at the center but the Translate part is not equal.
I have 80-100 pictures from a senior photo shoot I did. I want to add a watermark to all of them, so I can distribute the CDs and not have to worry about printing without authorization. I suppose the best way is to create a layer with "DO NOT PRINT" and then add the layer to all of them. If there is an easier way without using layers please by all means let me know. All pictures are in JPEGS at this moment I know how to edit images on photoshop but I am not an expert on the program, what is the function or what are the steps I have to do to process all of them at once and not have to do one per one. Should I do it trough Bridge or Photoshop. Please give me directions step by step, dont assume that I know all the functions, as mentioned I am not an expert.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI downloaded [URL] Automator Actions for Photoshop CS5.5. I took ages customizing a watermark action.
I get Automator to resize the image without 'constraining propotions', the action itself also changes to the same size to make sure; Action then: places my logo, and selects all layers, aligns using horizontal centres and places it about 1/3 from the bottom;
Problems:
1) The watermark is not placed horizontally centre on all images, what I don't understand is some photo's it is perfect, others it is slightly to the left?I thought it may be where I have rotated images in Bridge, but that is not the case, then maybe if I have zoomed in on the camera; but again not the case, seems intermittent!
2) Bugs: I created another watermark action, tried this one but did not work great, so I deleted it. I now have approx 50 of that listed in the actions folder. I cannot delete them, the arrow is pointing downward and appears like they are all open?
I jsut got gimp, and I am using it to make wallpapers for myself and my family. I have a few pictures of my favorite baseball player and I would like to make myself a wall with them, but they all have a watermark on them. I would generally try and find pics without the watermark, but I can't find anything because he is not a big name. How to remove the watermark from the images.
View 12 Replies View RelatedRecently, whenever I "Save for Web", the resulting images appear to be tinted (i.e. the colors are not the same as they appear in Photoshop). This applies to both GIFs and JPEGs. However, when I load the saved GIF or JPEG in Photoshop, the colors look just like the original PSD. I have tried saving with "Standard Windows Color", "Uncompensated Color", "Standard Mac Color", and "Document Color Profile", but there does not appear to be any difference between any of the above when the file is viewed outside of Photoshop. I have had Photoshop for some time and I never encountered this issue before. Did I change something in my settings by mistake?

When I export, I am specifying 300 DPI, but the resulting image is only 96.
