Photoshop :: Can't Use Adobe Extension Manager To Install CS5 Plugin
Apr 25, 2012I am trying to install a plug-in from PSKiss to Photoshop CS5 (version 12.0.4). I'm using Adobe Extension Manager CS5.5, and I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop.
Although I'm following up with PSKiss to see if there's a problem at this end, I also see an issue with Adobe Extension Manager. When I open it, the Install button is grayed-out. I can see neither of the plug-ins I've already installed in Photoshop, nor can I install anything new. I am running Adobe Extension Manager as Administrator.
Also, yes, I'm using my laptop with an Administrator account.
AutoCAD Map 3D :: Style Button Cancels On Display Manager?
Jul 24, 2013I imported data from a SHP file to a base drawing I plan to use to attach, and I wanted to replace data points with data symbol definition blocks. However, when I create a symbol style and try to edit it by double-clicking, I get a *Cancel* on the command line and nothing happends. When I pressing the "Style" button on the Display Manager tab in the Task Pane, same thing.I suspect that I missed a step - or several - along the way of importing the SHP file.

Jan 21, 2014I'm using the Filmconvert plugin and the reset buttons do not work. I have the latest version of CC and Filmconvert plugin.
Filmconvert support said that "The functionality of the reset buttons is provided by the application API... plugin developers do not code that functionality and have no visibility or control over it... which is why it must be a Premiere problem. Have you asked Adobe tech support for assistance?".
I've tried reinstalling Filmconvert plugin and also resetting preferences.
Is it a bug?How do I contact Adobe for support? They don't reply to bug reports.

Nov 9, 2012my layer manager menu button icons have been replaced by hatch patterns this morning …. see attached .... Interesting.
I must have loaded the impressionist.cui interface this morning by mistake.
No doubt a restart will cure the issue.

Apr 11, 2012I'm using Lightroom 4.0 and I'm having problems with the Flickr Publish Service. In the publishing manager, the incorrect login shows and the logout button is non functional. I need to authenicate to Flickr's API with the correct login. I've tried un-installing and re-installing, but to no avail. I have no idea where the plugin picked up the displayed login name from as it's not one that I've ever used. Is there a way that I can force a logout so that I can enter the proper information.

Nov 4, 2013When I try to import a photo, Lightroom5 tells me that my photo is a duplicate. When I search for the duplicate from within lightroom, lightroom can't find it by filename. When I search for the duplicate using a file manager outside of lightroom, the file manager can't find the duplicate either. I don't believe there is a duplicate file that has been imported in Lightroom.

Sep 10, 2012I use different plugins to enhance lightroom (4.1 at this time). Sometimes I am not happy with a plugin, and remove it. This plugin may however add data to the catalog, which may increase its size.
I think that when you remove a plugin, all the related data (if any) remain in the catalog. So my question is : is it possible to remove unwanted data from a catalog -- without of course changing anything to the regular LR data ?

Mar 24, 2013I would like to change caption during export with a plugin.
I've got a website with a galery made with piwigo and I use the piwigo's plugin to publish / export my photos to the website.
I'd like to complete my caption with something like that for example:
New Caption =>
{city} - {country} - {dateTime[%B %Y]}
{copyright}
{caption}
I've tried different solution without success:
1 - Using LR Transporter plugin It's not the solution because this plugin change caption in LR. I want to change only during export.
2 - Using rc Exportant pluginI don't manage to change something in the preset. I've got a bad level in english and I don't really understand what to do to make what I want
3 - Doing my own plugin I've tried with lightroom SDK. I manage to do a box in export box to complete some metadata. But I'm not a programmer, only a photographer, and I don't know how to do after.
I know that it's possible to do something like that. I use jf Flickr plugin and ther is a place to do that in this plugin (Metadata Management / Image Title - Description).
I'd like to do exactly the same with piwigo's publish.

Jan 2, 2013I am growing increasinly frustrated. I just installed AutoCAD LT 2013 on my laptop. I managed to get everything customized the way I want, except the button icons on my (classic) toolbar are much too small. If I go into the menu and select 'use large icons', they are too huge. My screen resolution DOES NOT need to be changed or adjusted. I went to the help menu to see what I can do, and found that I can go into CUI and adjust the size of the button icons that way, via the button image editor, however there is no 'button image editor' dialog box when I select any given toolbar command.

Possible to import "configured" publish service plug-ins between separate lightroom 4.1 catalogs? Example I have a Flickr publish service setup in one catalog for landscape/macro/general photos and then I have a separate catalog for model photos. I don't want to continue to re-create the publish service in each of my new catalogs. The plug-in themselves do show up in all catalogs, but not their configuration.
Lightroom :: 4 Flickr Plugin Error - Unable To Upload?
Aug 18, 2012I added a new tag to a large batch of photos which then needed to be re-upoaded. It was taking a very long time and about halfway through, I got an error. I started the Publish funtion again and all was fine, but then again with a handful of photos left, I got the error. This time the Publish function didn't move anything and I just got the error. Even after removing the new tag from the remaining photos, I am unable to use the plugin to upload any new photos to my flickr account. I use the flickr library within LR as part of my organization strategy and really don't want to use any other uploader.
The error message in question: Flickr API returned an error message (function flickr.photos.setMeta, message Bad URL found)

Jan 6, 2014I prefer using multiple catalogs rather than 1 large one, as I prefer to organize via event/date. The issue I've encountered is, that every time I create a new catalog, I have to reenter my information on the flickr plugin, and assume that all the plugins work this way. So simply, is it possible to enter the login info the 1 time, and have it load for every catalog? The other option I can explore if there is no simple fix for this issue is to edit the existing flickr plugin, the biggest issue with this however is that the 1 in SDK 5.0 is now outdated/unuseable and the plugin installed is a single file and not multiple editable lua files.
