Lightroom :: Increase Number Of Open Recent Files?
Mar 12, 2014In previous versions this was unlimited. It allowed me a quick way to view catalogs I have worked on even months ago.There are no options inside Lightroom 5 to adjust this that I can find.
So is there a file I can modify in the Lightroom system folder or in the registry that will remove the limited number or increase the number allowed in the list?

I can't seem to get 'open recent file' to work in any of my CS6 programes It is always greyed out and never remembers what I've last done. Does it have something to do with the files being stored on a passworded server?

May 19, 2012I'm running LR 4.1 with ACR 7.1 on a Windows 7 64 bit OS.
I set my preferences to open most recent catalog.
I then open another catalog and do some stuff in the catalog but when I start LR next time it keeps going back to a different catalog. How can I change the settings so it either opens the most recent catalog or I get prompted for which catalog I'd like to open (I've tried both settings) and LR still keeps opening the same catalog.

Jan 7, 2013Every time I try to select the text of an item in the open recent list the recent list will disappear before I can select it. I've discovered that I must carefully move my mouse pointer down the left column that precedes the entries in order to select any of them. Autodesk, could you fix this so that anywhere on each item is selectable and the recent list stays open until the mouse moves off of it?
It is said that a fool's voice is known by multitude of words... I'm just writing this stuff instead of saying it outloud... that's my loophole.

Photoshop :: CS3 And Recent Files
Sep 11, 2008using Save As to a network path that is not persistent. When starting CS3, it fails to open until network paths in recent files are restored.
It seems to lookup all recent file locations while starting up.
Revit :: Recent Files Not Updating
Jan 2, 2013My Recent Files list not longer updates so that, when I start Revit from the Start menu, I can't specify the file to open at the same time that I start the program. Once Revit is open, the Recent Documents list, from the Application button, is correct. All other programs, including AutoCAD and Inventor, show up correctly in the Start menu.

Aug 15, 2012When I start Lightroom from the schortcut to Lightroom 4.1 in the Windows Start-menu it works fine.In the Startmenu there is also a list of recent files that appears on "mouse over" on the Lightroom shortcut.When I click one of those recent files, my computer starts an installation process (for the 64 bit version) as if Lightroom weren't installed already.After 30 seconds of searching for the installation files at a standard location, the program states that it didn't find the files.
Because LR already is installed I click Cancel to terminate this process and just try to aviod clicking the recent files next time.

Jan 29, 2013I installed a lightroom 4.2 and i was about to import my pictures but lightroom cant read my files in my computer. It can read files but those files are from years ago. I wonder why my recent files cant read. I dont know what to do. I already reinstalled it but then again its still the same. Mar 1, 2013I'm working with both Photoshop and Illustrator CS6 on a mac. I'm creating a graphic. The background is a (cartoonish) mouth and I finished it a couple of days ago. (It's an Illustrator file.) I've been working on the letters to go inside of the mouth, (Once I'm finished it'll look as though they're being crushed.) I scanned and edited small wooden letters in Photoshop, and now I would like to work with them with the background in Illustrator. I understand how to open a Photoshop file in Illustrator, but I don't want to open the document as a separate Illustrator file. Is there a way to open a file from Photoshop as a second layer?
Some of the letters repeat as well. Will I have to create two files for this, or can I open the same file twice?

I then have to select File > Open but now the program defaults to a folder called My Pictures. I store my images in my own folder elsewhere. I would like to set my folder to be the default folder. I have to navigate to my folder ever time I launch the tool. If I go to File > Preferences, I do not see a place where I can change the setting.

Aug 16, 2012Upon startup of CorelDraw X4, I get an error message and the debugger opens (macro) and highlights a line of code in the Recent Files macro. I suspect it may be a Windows 7 update since about 15 updates were installed today.
P.S. - resetting workspace by pressing F8 at startup is not an option.

Dec 30, 2013I downloaded a Copy of AutoCAD Recent Documents Manager.exe from the autodesk website and it won't run on any of the computers in our system. I was thinking about writing a LISP routine to delete the filenames with a DST suffix by replacing them with the next filename in the list. My question is If I replace the file with the next one above and the filetime,filepinned and class respectively. When I reach the end of the list can I just use "" for the file,filetime and class and integer 0 for filepinned (it looks like it requires a double).

Mar 5, 2012Everything is working fine with opening .psd files in photoshop. Everything was fine a few days ago opening .ai files with Illustrator. Now I can't open any .ai files most of the time. My computer will start up Illustrator but no file will load. Occasionally, the files I tried to open will all open and load at once after a reboot. But after the reboot, the files will not open again. I uninstalled Illustrator and reinstalled, however, this has not fixed the problem. I'm also having trouble exiting out of Illustrator, it won't let me close the program at times. I'm using a Macbook Pro with the Lion OS.
