I bought a macbook pro and the student suite about 3 months ago. They work fine together (better than the couple windows-adobe), but i've got a problem. Today colors of my macbook suddenly changes when i create a new web-profile file on Illustrator. I inspect my mac wtih the utility colorsync, and this was the result:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/RedBlueYelllow.icc
Etichetta 'pseq': Il profilo richiesto non è presente. Non può essere riparato.
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/Smokey.icc
Etichetta 'pseq': Il profilo richiesto non è presente. Non può essere riparato.
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/TealMagentaGold.icc
Etichetta 'pseq': Il profilo richiesto non è presente. Non può essere riparato.
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Profiles/TotalInkPreview.icc

I finally updated my CS6 suite. Eveything seemed fine until I opened Illustrator. Crashed

Adobe Illustrator was working fine on my MacBook Pro. That is in the shop being fixed, meanwhile I have a loaner computer which is what the specs are above. All my Adobe apps work, except for Illustrator. When I launch it, it loads everything but just as the main menu across the top loads I get an error stating:

I'm using Photoshop CS4 on a MacBook Pro OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). It's worked for quite a long time with no issues and now (seemingly out of the blue) it won't launch. Here is part of the report I get when it doesn't launch:

Every time I open Photoshopp CC on my Mac Pro (8-core, 32Gb RAM) I get the spinning beachball of death and the app is completely unresponsive. I have logged out and back in to the CC to no purpose. I am completelt fed up with continually beta testing Adobe's software and paying through the nose for it.
There is also no crash log generated, nor an opportunity to submit one.
One of my users has had Photoshop CS6 installed pretty much since launch with no issues, however since last week just after launching a Windows error report pops up informing the user that it has crashed, however if the user simply moves the error report window to one side Photoshop will continue functioning normally, but as soon as "Don't Send/Dubug/Send Report" is pressed Photoshop closes.
Below is the error information taken from Event viewer - The machine is running XP SP3, 3GB RAM and an ATI Radeon HD 3600 Graphics card.

I was using an Adobe free month trial of CS6 Production Premium about one month ago, before I purchased it for keeps. Photoshop was working fine.
Ever since registering my CS6, though, whenever I try to launch Photoshop, it gets as far as "Measuring Memory", then crashes with a message "An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred. Photoshop will now exit." There is no crash report (at least, not that I can find).
An Adobe technician on the phone suggested I try upgrading to Mountain Lion, but nothing I've read on similar problems said upgrading is a viable solution. Plus, I'm not too impressed with a troubleshooting tip that involves paying money for a package of improvements which are irrelevant to me, and will probably be accompanied by other drawbacks.
I've tried fixing my preferences, uninstalling and reinstalling... No dice.I'm running CS6 on my MacBook Pro, OS X 10.6.7, with a 2.53 GHz Intel Core i5, and 8 GB of RAM.
So I had VS x3 and it started to give me serious problems, i.e. no longer able to export to MPEG-HD, So now I have X4 thinking it would resolve my issues, but no. Now I cannot even launch X4, as soon as it opens I get an 'unexpected error, program needs to close' message. It freezes immediately, and I cannot even open any menu items. I have tried removing and reinstalling QuickTime 7.55, also tried updating my codecs and uninstalled/reinstalled VSx4, none of that worked. I installed this program on my desktop, and it works fine there but ther only difference there is my desktop runs Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and my Alienware M11x runs Windows 7 Home Prem 64-bit.

I have two Macs, a late 2012 MacBook Pro and a 2009 iMac, both installed with Creative Cloud and running Mavericks. The MBP is doing great. No issues whatsoever, and it is my main machine these days.
However, Photoshop CC is crashing on launch on the iMac every time. I can't use it at all there. Here is the top of the crash log, leaving off everything from "Binary Images:" on...

It had been working fine up until today. I have not made any changes or updates with my computer. It is version CS4, I am on Mac 10.5.8
I tried de-installing and re-installing, did the 11.1 update, still won't open. It crashes before the photoshop template even appears.
If I enable Suitcase Fusion 5's auto-activation plug-in for Photoshop CC, the app crashes on launch. If I disable it, Photoshop launches, and performs, normally. The Extensis plug-ins for InDesign and Illustrator work without issue. I've contacted Extensis.
My software and OS are all current; I'm using a 17-inch, mid-2009 MacBook Pro with Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, and Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT 512 MB.
I leave the plug-in deactivated and simply open fonts manually, but I'd really like the Extensis plug-in to work as expected. Desperate for a solution, or at least an understanding of the incompatiblity.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had both Inventor 2012 and 2013 (and entire Product design suite of both program versions) installed on my Win 7 64 bit Dell Precision Laptop, all working flawlessly. On recieving a copy of 2014 I decided to uninstall Inventor 2012 which I carried out through Add/Remove programs in Windows 7. Then I tried to launch Inventor 2013 and got an 0xc0000005 system error as per attachment 1.
I then went through the entire removal process to completely remove Autodesk products to do a fresh install of Autodesk 2014. This worked out and I did everything exactly as suggested here... [URL]
Then I disabled my Avast virus checker and stopped the process via task manager.
I then did a complete fresh install by right clicking on the Setup file on the Product design Suite 2014 dongle and choosing "open as administator" which I started without any issues. The installation then stopped while installing INventor 2014 with a 1406 error as per attachment 2. I searched the registry for the file mentioned in attachment 2 and deleted it from the registry and clicked retry and the installation finished without any further errors. I then restarted my computer and launched Inventor and again I recieved the 0xc0000005 error.
I then updated Inveontor with the DL21503391 update 1 from here... [URL]
I then updated 360.
I then tried to relaunch Inventor by right clicking and choosing "run as administrator" and proceeded to get the error 0xc0000005 as per attachement 1.
Obviously uninstalling 2012 is where the system 0xc0000005 issue began. I am trying to avoid a fresh Win 7 install.
I have had this problem intermittently for years with different versions and different computers, but this time it is not going away. I need to use the 64 bit version for large files, but it keeps crashing in several different ways.
1- I open the program from the desktop. It shows the spash screen, shows the workspace for a couple of seconds, and then crashes with the message:
Problem Event Name:APPCRASH Application Name:Photoshop.exe Application Version:12.1.0.0 Application Timestamp:4d90d339 Fault Module Name:StackHash_8d67 Fault Module Version:0.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp:00000000 Exception Code:c0000096 Exception Offset:0000000078e650ac OS Version:6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Locale ID:1033 Additional Information 1:8d67 Additional Information 2:8d672743ada8a2e1e75c51ac7051c8c2 Additional Information 3:354b Additional Information 4:354bf194360e47150cf5d5ca4e71d674
I am using the latest version. My video card drivers are totally up to date.I am using a decent computer with 16 gig of ram.I am opening the program as an administrator.I have reset the prefrences too many times to count by deleting the prefrences and holding down ctrl+alt+shift at startup.
2- If by some wild stretch of the imagination I get the program to start with totally cleared prefrences and running as administrator then the program will crash about 75% of the time when using "Save As".If I try to do anything special like create a new folder to put the file into then the chances of a crash increase greatly.
3- If I try to open up a file from Lightroom, even if the files are opening every other way, Photoshop will crash very often.
What is going on here? I have made no changes to my computer, have not installed any new programs, and, as I stated earlier, have everything updated. I even stopped using plugins a long time ago because I did not want to take the chance that it was going to cause this fragile program to crash, so all plugins are uninstalled. Why does this keep happening? When this has happened before everything will work fine for months and then suddenly I cannot get the program to open. When it does open again, for seemingly as unknown a reason as when it stopped, it will work anywhere from a few minutes to another couple of months.
This seems to be a problem that tons of people have, but I have not been able to find any answer other than "Delete Settings" or "Run as Administrator" or "Update *****." What can I do to keep this from happening and to fix it when it happens?
I just installed CS6 Design and Web Premium on my MacBook Pro running OS10.6.8. InDesign opened fine, but in the dock Illustrator and Photoshop have diagonal lines through them. I tried opening Illustrator and got this message: "You can't open the application Adobe Illustrator CS6 because it is not supported on this type of Mac." My MacBook Pro is 3-4 years old--a 2 GHz Intel Core Duo, 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, Model Identifier: MacBook Pro1,1. I double checked the OS required by CS6 and it's 10.6.8.

When I open the file in CS6 on my 15" Retina Macbook Pro, objects that are mathmatically aligned to the pixel grid do not render properly.
See the screen shot to see what I mean.
The files still renders properly when view on the iMac and new objects in the document are also aligned to the grid, at least from the stand point of how it's render.
my CS3 design premium looks pixelated on my Macbook retina display. Can this be fixed?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSlowly but surely my OSX environment is being extricated from the absolute lunacy that every file used by any application had to reside on the machine's root drive. Adobe Premiere Pro, for example, created a $USER/Documents/Adobe subdirectory where it stored my profile information. I attempted to move that profile information to a network drive and to use an alias to point $USER/Documents/Adobe at $NETWORK_DRIVE/Adobe. Now Adobe Premiere Pro CC crashes on startup. I have attempted to trash my preference (deleting the 7.0 subfolder of the Adobe/Premiere Pro folder).
View 1 Replies View RelatedEach time I open a file in AI - CS3 I get the same message: "Missing Profile - The doc does not have an embedded CMYK profile". I looked in library>colorsync>profiles and sure enough they were gone? I downloaded new profiles from Adobe, installed them in library>colorsync>profiles - and still the same thing with each file I open. I dragged AI to the trash, re-installed AI from my disc repeated the process with the same results .

I believe in earlier versions if you wanted to change a sublayer into a main layer you could just drag and drop. But I don't see any way in CS6 to change a sublayer into a main layer.
