Illustrator :: Tools Defaulting To Pen Tool
Feb 9, 2013When using Ai CS6 I'm finding that no matter what tools I have selected Ai keeps defaulting to the pen tool, useually Delete Ancor. Have I just not set something correctly??

Nov 30, 2013When I start my Illust CC, I can only click the tools in the tool box which are shown. I can not wright click my mose and reach other tools. How can I solve this problem ?

Oct 9, 2012So in Photoshop when I select a tool on the toolbar and right-click it, I am given a menu of "sub" tools to choose from. In Illustrator, however, the same does not happen. I can select the tool on the toolbar, but right-clicking has no effect on those tools that appear to have sub-tools available (indicated, I thought, by the little corner triangle in the icon, just like Photoshop). Alt-clicking, alt-right-clicking, shift-clicking, ctl-clicking, nothing seems to work.

How do I, for instance, switch from the rectangle tool to the rounded rectangle tool (if there is one)? And how do I see which sub-options are available under those tools that have the little triangle?

Dec 25, 2011How can I make LR3 not automatically create a TIF file when I open a DNG for the first time? I don't want this to happen. I've checked every preference I can find and can't find any settings to change this. When I try to do a batch run from CS4 on the DNG files, because LR3 creates a TIF files simultaneously, the batch next wants to run on the TIF file LR3 created in the same folder as the DNG files!

Its nailed me on more than one occasion, going through hours of lecture and discovering I didn't get the audio.Is there anyway to change it so it defaults to the speakers? Sep 8, 2012Usually I can click a took and thats the end of it...if I want to show hidden I have to click the little arrow or something of that nature. Now when I click a tool it automatically opens up the hidden tools menu, which makes it very annoying to select tools because I've then got to click it in the hidden menu to select it.
Also performing things such as double clicking hand tool to show an image full screen don't work becuase as soon as I click the hand tool once it opens up the hidden tools menu and won't allow me to double click it. I've tried resetting to defaults and even checked my wacom/mouse settings...cant figure out what the issue is.

Feb 13, 2013I must have clicked something or inadvertantly pressed a keyboard shortcut or something because a couple of weeks ago, the sub-tools on the tool palette started popping up without me having to hold down the mouse button for a second. Now when I click a tool (the rectangular marqee tool for example), the hidden tools (eliptical marqee, single row etc.).
I'm using PS CS5 on Windows 7.

Paint Shop Pro :: Cropping Tools - Blank Icons On Floating Tool Bar
Jun 14, 2012For some reason when I use the cropping tool the floating tool bar has blank icons on it. Sometimes there may be lines in them like they tried to load but most of the time they are just completely white.
They still work and everything but you have to run your mouse over them and wait for the box to pop-up thats says what it is to see which one you need.

Mar 4, 2008DVD menu where I went File > New > NTSC DV Wide to create the document, as per the video house's instructions. Now everytime I open ANY file, old or new, a warning pops up to let me know Pixel Aspect Ration Correction is on and to turn it off if I don't want it. This means dozens of times per day, I have to go View > Pixel Aspect Ration Correction just to turn it off.
I can't figure out how to turn this crap off permanently. Why the hell would it default to ON just because I used it once?

Oct 23, 2013Basically what I said in the title, and I can't change it to something that's easier to look at. I can change the color of individual faces if I use the "adjust" tool, beyond that the only way I can change it is if I go to the "Realistically Colored Model" and turn on "Ray Shading" which basically renders it. When I select the body and hover over the current color it says "As Application Surface Color". Thats what the first attached picture is. In the 2nd attached picture, it is clearly not light red. when we are selecting a row of text to edit. if you start typing while the old text is highlighted it will keep the current font and color.
if you select that row and hit backspace to delete a few letters until the text line is empty and begin typing it will default to Arial and make the color black.
AutoCAD Print / Plot :: Defaulting To Landscape Despite Portrait Being Selected?
Dec 14, 2011I am working with AC 2012 LT on a Windows 7 x64 system and printing to an HP Laserjet 5200tn connected by USB. The issue that we are having is when we try to print a secion of a drawing. Under the printer properties, portrait is selected and the layout window shows a portrait orientation. However, when we preview or print, the results are in landscape orientation. I've gone over the printer settings a few times, updated the driver, and tested that other programs on the same computer don't  have the same issue.

Apr 3, 2012On a few random idw files we are seeing the default "Number of copies" in the settings section of the print dialog box with strange high numbers in this case 693965387. As soon as the user selects a different printer the number drops to 1. If the user selects the printer properties and navigates to the advanced page the Copy Count is 1969. I have checked the default printer settings and it is set to 1 copy.

Aug 12, 2012I upgraded to Lightroom 4.1 a few months ago and since then have been battling with incredibly slow spot removal tool, slow changes between tools and modules, and a big time lag in using the slider adjustments. I use Lightroom for Portrait photography work and it is incredibly frustrating. I feel like my workflow is half the speed it used to be because of all the wait time. Once I select an area for the spot removal, for example, I can wait about 2-4 seconds for it to work. I find that this lag is shorted when I first open Lightroom and begin using it, but the lag time quickly increases as the hours literally drag by. Are other people having these issues after upgrading to Lightroom 4?
