Within Illustrator select text tool.Type in a few lines of text with carriage return.Select all the text in the paragraph..Go to paragraph panel..Select the justify icon...NO results...the paragrpah is not justified
I want to create an Area Type box and have all of the text line up on both the left and right sides, so I use the Justify all Lines option.
1. After doing this, is there a way to adjust the spacing of the headline? I tried adjusting the tracking, though that didn't work. Is the only way to use a separate Area Type or Point Type for the headline so it is not affected by the Justify all Lines option?
2. Is there another way to acheive what I want?
Had do you activate the "Justify last left" in the Paragraph dialog box in PS CS6? It grayed out.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have some text in a paragraph frame that I want it to be in full justify but when I apply it the spaces between the words get messed up, some of them become too small and in some cases the words get so close to each other that you almost can't read the text. Also the words in the last line get also very close to each other and that ruins my design.
I have tried inceasing the kerning but this affects the space between the characters too and I don't want that. What I need is a way to correct manually the spacing between the words. I tried doing so by increasing the word spacing from the "Paragraph Formating" docker but for some reason it doesn't work at all.
it is possible to justify the text of a bulleted list in the same way as for a paragraph? I can do it in Microsoft Word but I can't seem to do it in Illustrator.
When I justify the text of a paragraph in Illustrator it works perfectly fine. But when I do it for bulleted text, it gets all weird.
Can I select multiple non-sequential text lines in paragraph text and apply one and the same text format (font - bullets - tabs - alinea space etc)?
View 1 Replies View RelatedCan the "Basic Paragraph" style in Paragraph Styles be modified? How is this done?
I can bring up the Paragraph Styles Options diaglog by double clicking "Basic Paragraph" in the Paragraph Styles panel. I can also modify it, for example, by changing the font family. But when I click OK to save it, it creates a new style and leaves "Basic Paragraph" unchanged.
I know that the Basic Paragraph style can be modified in InDesign, but I don't see how to do it in Photoshop.
I am having issues with tabs lining up for a current menu project I am working on. Im using paragraph styles and character styles as well. All prices shown have the same styles and sould justify right, but there are odd gaps.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have to define the outline weight in my paragraph style to - let's say - 12 pt. How do I manage that? I can only choose from a predefined list, which is unsufficient.
It used to work in CS4, as you can see in the following screenshot.
I'm working with Mac, by the way, and I was told that this "bug" is not occuring on Windows..
I need to transform a lot of dashed (single) lines into separate lines... Who can tell me how to do this in a few clicks. I don't need an outline of the dashed line. So the black dashes I need, the white in between the dashes I want to loose.
See the example. I need the second lines.
I was just editing a photo I had taken and I started to get lines. Different colour lines (red, pink, yellow, green etc).

Is there a way to make a work path that has all the lines of the triangle instead of just the outside?
When i use the quick selection or magic wand i can only A) Get the outside shape and inside triangle, or B) Get all but one of the shapes. The triangle is made up of 3 L looking shapes. I want to make a path, put it into Cinema4D , and then be able to color it so i can THEN, put it into an After Effects video.
while tracing a plan on Autocad 2010, by accident I clicked on something, or performed some unknown commands. My lines, that were smooth just seconds before, suddenly became really pixelated, as if made of many small segments. And when rendering the plan on pdf, it is still the same, and the lines are really thick. I have checked, the line thickness is on default (0.25mm), but compared to renderings I've done before, this time the drawing has really awful lines.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOccasionally paragraph allignment works opposite for left & right align, usually on Illustrator documents with Russian type.
In additon on center align text I set my cursor to input a period at the end of a sentence, and the period instead gets added to the beginning.
In character palette language is set to English USA, this is point text.
I created a new point text and this is happening, if I paste text from another document alignment works fine, font is Arial black but happens with all fonts.
I'm trying to create a Signature for my photos. The problem is, it's difficult to come up with a signature in the lower right corner that works with both portrait and landscape orientation. What I'd like to do is, "right justify" the text in the lower right corner.
Anyone know of a way to do that?
I am using PS CS on windows XP pro. The problem I've encountered is not being able to justify text. This particular text was created by just clicking the text tool and typing. I have another type layer that was created by drawing a text box and I can justify this type all day. Am I correct in that only type layers created by first drawing a text box can be justified.

I Wonder if it's possible, with a setting or something like this, to make the join command work only on lines or polylines that had the same linetype?
