I want to make a wall with some relief.. I dont want it to look flat or anything, but with some depth between the bricks. Its from a 3d view so it would not look nice if it were flat. I dont know how to get this effect though..and moreso..I have some graffiti brushes for the wall that need the same kinda brick relief effect (cause its sprayed on the bricks of course.. is there any way to create this as a style, brush, pattern or whatever...?
ive tried some wall brushes, but they dont give that feeling of depth..
I'm trying to reproduce the effect in an old Windows background (attached). How to do this?
I've looked through many tutorials, but guides for creating water ripples are the only things I could find.
I have gone thru the spectrum and even used the eye dropper on images, but I can't get the colors to show up as obnoxious and nuclear as they look in images.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIve imported a CATIA part and I'm trying to redraw it in Inventor. I have the main panels and bend rads in but I cannot for the life of me work out how to model the bend reliefs so they are similar to the ones on CATIA. The purpose of all of this is too reduce the bend reliefs that CATIA has produced even further.
Ive added both the original dumb solid from catia and the new inventor model to an assembly and contrained them in line so hopefully you see what I mean.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a problem that's been driving me nuts for the past couple of weeks. I have a collectible playing card that I' like to reprint . The card was printed using an offset press and so there is a distinct halftone pattern on the card. What I'd like to do is to scan the card, remove the pattern in photoshop (Noise->Median), use CorelDraw to print a ps which would reproduce the exact same pattern, and print it using Ghost Script with my Laser Jet 200 (600 dpi).
Here's a link to the card:[URL]......
So I have 3 questions.
Is it possible to reproduce the halftone pattern ?
If yes, can I do it with my printer ?
If no, what printer could do it ?
I like these PS general photo enhancements, and would like to create/buy LR4 presets that do exactly this. Only AutoTone seems to be bundled with LR4. And the third party products advertised all specialize in special affects. I am looking for general image enhancements. I like the LR4 workflow would like to remain in that environment instead of PS.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm making some graphics to be printed on a car. I have some lines with outer glow on them, but Illustrator won't render these unless I use 72DPI in raster effects reslution. I would like to go higher, but it won't give me anything. Guessing it's to heavy for Illustrator maybe? Is there anything I can do about this? I'm making my graphics in 1:1 scale, but I do it in a lower scale since it's just vector art anyway, however how would that effect my glow? Since it's a raster effect.

C - 0
M - 98
Y - 75
K - 22
or Pantone 1805

G - 49
B - 26
I get a different colour depending on which spec I use, and if I sample a digital document, a fourth variation on red. Am I just not understanding these colour specs? I want to be able to reproduce the logo on printed documents, and use it for embroidery on clothing. I also need to produce adobe pdf files and jpegs to email copy to advertisers.

Can you make a Pen Tool path (white), and then, by using the Brush Tool, color it in automatically ONLY within the path's designated area?
Having the ability to do this would enable me to create "digital watercolor" images with texture. I would take the white paths, and then select a color and use the Opacity Tool to make the colors look like watercolor paint by using the Brush Tool. The issue is: can I make a color texture in any path?
I am using the Texture --> Grain effect to give my fonts and graphics that "chalkboard look", however the grain effect makes everything that I add the effect to White. Can I not have any color using the grain effect? For example, my font is yellow but when I add the grain effect, it turns white. Is white my only option with Grain effect?
How to achieve the "chalk" look! Grain effect seems to work the best for me (except the color issue).
how do i a shadow text effect like this i tried the drop shadow but it doesnt quite look the same has this?
View 9 Replies View RelatedThere's a gaussian and radial blur. What's so different about a motion blur?
I can create a sudo-motion blur by grouping several objects and moving one object off the page, then moving the center of the radial blur to that side, in the radial blur dialog. It would be much easier with a motion blur effect.
Another workaround is to blend 2 objects of different transparencies, but I can't save it as a graphic style. Transform would work, if transparency of "duplicate" objects could be altered. I don't see a way to do that either.
Looking for some creative solutions for motion blur effect, THAT CAN BE SAVED AS A GRAPHIC STYLE, I'd like to hear about them.
For example, object A has 10 effects and I want to copy one of them to object B which has a number of its own effects that I want to keep.
