Have an Illustrator document that I would like to import to Cinema 4D Lite. Launched After Effects and opened a C4D project, dragging the .AI file and C4D says 'Unknown File Format'. What file format should Illustrator Documents be saved to to import into C4D?
Very excited to be using Cinema 4D Lite and I'm very imprssed with what you get out of the box.
I looked at the side by side table for all the cinema 4d versions and the table says C4D Lite DOES support extruding, but every time I try to extrude a face the quick keys don't work, the menus that a tutorial shows aren't there.I can do this basic modeling task in lite?
i am using cs6 and cinema 4d r14. I am having problems exporting splines and outlines from illustrator. Cinema 4d doesn't recognise the file type. It seems to have worked on older versions.
If the Pro X3 Service Pack includes dealing with AVCHD Lite video files?
It says "...the update provides: Updated camera support – broadened MPEG-4 capabilities add support for additional cameras, including selected cameras from Flip, Canon and more "
Just bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-Zs7 wich shoots AVCHS Lite HD video and a lesser quality .MOV files as well. I wanna know if Prox3 can deal with these before I upgrade!! I have Prox2 right now.
I am editing a video using VS X3 and am using both AVCHD 1080i and AVCHD lite 720p clips.
What would be the best format to retain quality when I render as a file and then copy onto a USB stick to play on my Bluray player? My player seems able to read most formats.
It is possible to save from AutoCAD 2012 Mechanical back to REGULAR AutoCAD 2006 Lite? I am updating files on my computer with 2012 Mechanical but have to email them back to the original computer (which only has AutoCAD Lite) to print them out. I wouldn't think it would matter if the save format is AutoCAD Mechanical 2006 as long as it is still a .dwg file, correct?
I have a live shot that I have 3D Camera Tracked using the built in AE plugin. I select 'Create new Camera and Solid'. AE creates a new 3d tracked camera and a solid. I save my comp. I go to 'File-Export-Maxon C4D', and create a new .c4d file. I import that file to AE, and put it in my comp. I go to 'Edit--Edit Original...'. C4D Lite opens up. I can see a new null, with a plane and camera inside. Everything looks great, but the camera has no animation on it. Upon closer inspection, I realize that none of the keyframes from my AE camera have been exported to my C4D camera.
I've tried exporting a new camera to C4D in as many ways as I can think of. The other strange thing was that the 'Merge Camera' button in the Cineware plugin in AE is grayed out, no matter how many new cameras I make. I've even made my own cameras and animated them without using the 3d Tracker plugin and it never exports correctly. I've also tried reinstalling C4D Lite.
Cinema 4d wont open in after effects cc it says "No CINEMA 4D file detected. add the effect to an imported CINEMA 4D file, or create a new CINEMA 4D file in CINEMA 4D
my system specs are:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2350M CPU @ 2.30 GHz RAM: 4GB System: 64-bit Operating system GPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
X4. I also got the Canon today and was looking at the rendering modes in X4.
Here is my question. I shoot a video in 24fps cinema mode, import it into VSX4, after I edit it and render it will it alter the frame rate and remove the "Hollywood" movie effect of 24fps?
I am working on a project where I did some object keyframe animation, some lattice animation and a cloth simulation. I really need to take that animation into C4D so I can add some other elements. My problem is no matter what exporter I use when I open it in C4D I get no animation. I have tried baking before I export and using the exporter to bake. I have tried .DAE and .FBX. and My cloth sim is Cached.
When I import 5D III cinemadng's into Premiere 7.1, the footage comes in with a weird pink overlay. It's not just a tint shift, but some sort of color distortion. After Effects and Photoshop both read the file just fine via Camera Raw.
I just received my Apple Cinema Display and I connected to a PC with Windows Vista.
The Apple Display does not have an OSD menu only a briteness (+)&(-) button on the side. If I wanted to calibrate my display with i1 Display 2 I can only use it in (Easy Mode). The reason being Easy Mode doesn't have the options for white point, gamma, luminance, contrast, rgb controls or briteness.
Trying to export a camera from Smoke to Cinema 4D. Cinema recognized the FBX file and opens the scene with the camera, however none of the animation comes through. I've tried baking the animation in the export options and also baking the animation channel. Neither seems to work.
I have opened After Effects CC multiple times, created and saved .c4d files from Cinema 4D Lite and dragged .c4d files onto both applications. I have also restarted the computer many times. The system is running on a new installation on Mac OS on a drive formatted just 2 weeks ago so there should be no issues from strange system changes.
The .c4d files still appear with a Terminal icon and association on Mac OS X. Even when I use "Open With". This is annoying because it is hard to visually find these files without the proper icon on them. They even have the Terminal icon when imported into After Effects.
How can I change the icon system-wide to be correct?
I need to create a 16 bits test pattern to be used in Digital Cinema. I have downloaded Gimp 2.9 beta that I understand can handle 16bits pictures.
It's a simple test chart, I need to select some colors when drawing white and Red Green Blue shapes. However when I try to select a color, I cannot select anything more than 255.
Is there a method to get the Pocket Camera CinemaDNG files to work in premiere ? (or Speed grade?) They work as individual frames in Photoshop. Apparently they are "compressed" CinemaDNG files.
I have problems when trying to import a DXF file to Illustrator CS6. The file consists of 4 different pages/layers, but only the first one is imported/available after the import. I already tried to play around with different import settings, but it doesn't work.
I have recently discovered the ability to import dwg/dxf files from Sketchup Pro (using AutoCAD Version: Release 14) into Illustrator CS6...
However, the only way that I seem to be able to see the DWG is by selecting 'Scale to Fit Artboard'... When I attempt to import using 'Original Size' or the 'Scale by' input factor the item doesn't seem to show anywhere on the artboard?
On Adobe Illustrator CS4, I'm trying to import a CD I burned of an illustration created in Illustrator. I go to Place under File, but get "location is not available" when I highlight the CD and then press "Place".
I'd like to be able to import a 3d model into illustrator, like PS now does, sort of what (i believe) 3D-Tiger used to do (now defunct). Basically I would like to have the ability to use the model to arrange perspective and such, then create a 2d vector image for further use. Possible?
Is it possible import Dxf/Dwg with desired units? Actually I need to do it silent, not with this dialog.I need setup scaling factor and show in document. In this code I can hide dialog, but can't setup. And also Ruller Units do not can scale imported document, it always scaled to Fit...
