Maya Animation :: Graph Editor Showing Only One Curve At A Time
Mar 5, 2012My Animation Graph Editor is only showing one animation curve (for one attribute) at a time after I have set multiple keyframes for the character set and various attributes. I select multiple attributes, and hit View-Frame All, and it only shows the top attribute of the selected attributes as one curve.

Mar 24, 2012I just got a bunch of new brushes and one of them is a series of 4 stitches that are oriented horizontally and look just like this - - - - . How can i run this in curves so that it still looks like stitches? When I stroke a path it creates a black mess(while using brush). When I drag and draw freehand the results are not much better. Is there anyway to make it so this can follow some sort of curved path? As if you are rolling the brush along a line like a paint roller and keeping the integrity of the brush? I'm using Gimp 2.6.10.

Illustrator :: Can't Edit Graph Value Axis When There Are Multiple Graph Types In One Chart
May 30, 2013Illustrator can make graphs with lines and bars / columns, for example from the docs: [URL] .....
However, when I create a graph like this, I seem to lose the ability to manually set the value axis using "override calculated values".
To reproduce this problem: Create a graph like the example, with bars and an axis on the left, lines and an axis on the right. Unlike the example, don't fix the numbers so the lines match up neatly - have one side go up to just under 20, one up to just under 250, so there are mismatched markers and numbers of divisions on each side.Try to make the markers and numbers of divisions match up, so the side that goes up to 20 actually goes up to 25 and has the same number of divisions as the other side.Everything I've tried doesn't work:
If I select the whole graph and go to 'Graph Type', I can't set Value Axis options. In earlier versions it's greyed out, in CS6 I can access it but clicking 'Okay' does nothing.If I select the whole graph and chose one graph type, I can set the Value Axis options, but that selected graph type then applies to the whole chart,If I use the Group Selection tool to select one of the series, and open 'Graph Type' options, changing the Value Axis options has no effectIf I use the Group Selection tool to select all series that share an axis and open 'Graph Type' options, changing the Value Axis options still has no effectIf I use the Group Selection tool to select the axis ticks group itself, or the axis line and axis ticks groups themselves, or the axis labels, axis line and axis ticks, or the axis labels, axis line, axis ticks and associated data series, etc, changing the Value Axis options also has no effect
It seems like this feature is broken and it seems like the example in the manual was carefully chosen to use a rare combination of numbers where it would actually look right.

Jun 25, 2013When I insert new data on an existing graph (for example, just adding a new year of data) and press insert, it just deletes the graph entirely. My only option is to recreate the entire graph which is frustrating because I lose its format and colors.

Oct 9, 2012I'm totally new to Illustrator and want to use the line graph tool to insert a graph that passes through 0,0 and runs to 24,24. I want the x and y axes to meet at the origin. As it isn't working as you can see. I've used 0, 0 and 24, 24 as my data points. Is there any way I can change how this is presented so it's clear that it's at the origin?
I'm using CS6, if that matters.

Feb 11, 2013I've been trying to create an interactive bar graph. The idea is that if a user clicks on a button, a bar graph will animate up onto the stage. I would like to code it so that if the user clicks on that same button again, the bar graph will animate down off the stage. So far all I've been able to find is that this is possible with mouse over and mouse out; but I'm wondering if it's possible to use clicks instead.

Mar 7, 2013I am trying to create a subassembly with a curve in it. See attached .pkt and .dwg files. Very small and simple.
When I attach the Subassembly to the Assembly, the event viewer shows "[Something wrong with current subassembly: The given key was not present in the dictionary.] (Source:Subassembly.Subassembly1)"
The link that represents the curve does not display; only the tesselated points display. In the Subassembly Composer the curve does display.
The file called curved.zip needs to be renamed to curved.pkt. This forum does not allow attachment of files with pkt extension.

Nov 2, 2011I am attempting to create a curve with the path tool and it seems like if I have a deep curve the curve becomes smooth but if I have a shallow curve (which is what I want), the curve is jagged and not very smooth - see attached thumbnail.
I've tried to convert the path to a selection then sharpen the selection and also add a feather to the selection to try and smooth it out but I have not been successful. How can I get this shallow curve I want but also get the curve nice and smooth?

Aug 31, 2011I've been using the Gimp for a year or so. I have a project where I'm trying out a logo design on a football helmet. I've tried, unsuccessfully, to use the perspective tool to 'wrap' the logo realistically. The helmet photo is shot at an angle.
I've seen 'morph' plugins that essentially let you set points around an object that correspond to the same points after the pic is 'morphed'. What I'm looking for is a plugin that would allow me to map the straight-on view of the new logo with the points corresponding to the existing 'wrapped' logo to produce a realistic logo.
GIMP :: Path Tool Won't Curve
Sep 24, 2013I had actually just used it to render something, and went to create a new path to continue my picture. However, the path tool decided it doesn't like to curve anymore so when I click on the line it simply moves the object. I didn't change any settings between finishing my first path and starting the second. It is still in design mode.
I've also wanted to ask if it is possible to link two anchors together when one of the anchors in question is in a complete path. Like, say I have three lines and anchors forming a triangle, shouldn't I be able to link a new anchor to one of the existing ones? Because I sure as heck can't.
