View 4 Replies View RelatedWhenever I slice my layout, it always turns out gray, meaning the whole layout with the images and everything. I think it's because when I "Save for Web", the only option they give me is: Grayscale. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about: link - I would really appreciate it if anyone can help. This problem is preventing me from creating websites, not only for me, but for my clients as well.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an image that has elements pasted in from PNG files, and those elements have some shades of green. I want printed output in gray scale only, so I did Image -> Mode->Grayscale. The image on screen went gray as I wanted. When I print it, however, I get an image in which *some* of the colored parts still are colored!
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy company is switching from ctb files to stb files. With the ctb file, we make concrete hatch with two layers. A top layer with the concrete hatch pattern and a background layer with a solid hatch patern. The ctb file concrete plots the concete hatch black and the solid background hatch light gray. I am using civil 3d 2013 and the hatch allows a seperate background color mask. I am trying to make all my concrete layers (Top of Curb, Curb Flowline, etc.) a certain color scheme, i.e. shades of green. I would like my on screen concrete hatch patern to be a green color with a gray background, but plot the concrete hatch black with a gray background. I can not figure out how to do this without making two layers. Is there a way to use one layer and utilize the background color mask to show on screen green and gray, but plot black and gray?

View 3 Replies View RelatedFor some reason when I place new text or line work in a file it is fine, but when I save the drawing, close it and re-open it all of the text and line work found in model space goes gray. Yet if I place new text and use the match property command on text placed previously, that is now gray, and use it on new text, the new text recieves the attributes of what the previously placed text has minus the appearance of being gray. In my drawing I am using a shape file and a data connect image through planning and analysis.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am a Paramedic Instructor and want to clean up some heart rhythms to make them more neat and presentable for use during class. Below is the sort of image I would be working with.
What I would like to do is remove only the black and gray lines (when they print out of the EKG machine some lines have some gray in them) and place them on a neater cleaner background as below
(The image above I found on a website where the creator has 100's of EKGs that this has been done with, but have been unable to get him to tell me how it was done)
Also let me know if another Adobe product would be more useful in this situation. I have CS6 Master Collection so you know what programs I have available to use.
when i want to draw something with a color it turns to gray?
it happens with a different color.
I have a graphic I am trying to create and whenever I save it as a .tif or .png, the transparency portion turns black...
I have seen several tutorials that talk about an Alpha channel...I have one!
What am I doing wrong?
You know how when you're painting, you can hold ALT and it will pick a colour from the canvas? Well, for some reason, mine still picks up the colour but it sets it to the background colour instead of the foreground colour.
And when I actually select the colour picker tool, it will only select the background colour but when I hold Alt, it selects the foreground colour. Basically it's flipped where it's supposed to select.
Why when I use green for foreground color and go to Fill and use the option of Foreground color the selection is filled with black? Also why when I open a file with a green square, it also turns to black? And since I am asking questions, how do I get back the ability to get content and search within photoshop, instead of always being directed to Adobe online? I am using CS5.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the brush and the layer set to 100% opacity and the layer is set to normal but it's not coming out normal.. I choose a pink color and stroke somewhere and it comes off as a highlighter yellow and looks like it's about 20% opacity in other places on the layer the color doesn't even show up.. I take a pink color and color over a black and it turns red.. and other places it's completely normal. Also i can erase a color and then paint in that spot but if i don't erase first it won't let me paint there.
Btw I've tried checking my layers brush settings and opacity all fine. I'm using photoshop CS6
i sketch a people face with pencil tools, create another color layer to color the face.
I use a paint brush to paint the face on that color layer, but when i try to apply water color filter the face color turn black color.
Does it mean a single color won't do in a filter effect? even it doesn't work, the color should be remained instead the black color,
This is probably super simple. I do a lot of transparency stuff for the Web. My background color for the most part turns out to be black. I get my transparency but the program I'm using at the moment does a cleaner job with white. When it's black I see a little trash of black around the edge of the graphic. In the past I've come up with white quite by accident and it was clean as a whistle. I'm exporting as PNG, True Color + Alpha.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIm having a really bad day working on CC Illustrator, i copied a .ai file and a .eps file from my old computer to continue working on a logo. And everythings works well, without the colors.
I want it BLACK, 000000, but the Illustrator turns it into differnt blacks and brown! Never seen this before.
When I copy my work back on the old computer and open it on CS3 it shows that it is black, but when i copy it on my CC Photoshop it shows up brown?
I tired making a new file, copying things over, making a new project writing randoms things but its all brown, and i tired to change both CMYK and RBG, and ofcourse the color! It worked fine if I wanted blue or red, but not BLACK.
I have a complex pattern, that looks brilliant with a color layer. However, it was originally created RGB.
I converted the color to CMYK for print, and all the color disappears! Not that the layer is deleted, but the color layer appears Grayscale. The only area where color shows up are in the pieces that are at 50% transparency (see purple diamond). I have all my color areas set to CMYK including the color pallet.
The color will show if I set the layer to multiply, but it doesn't look the same way as it does when its in RGB mode.
I've got an image sequence that uses white on pngs, once they've been made into animated gif the white turns less white and slightly grey, how do i remedy it?

I am using the trial version of Elements 11 and am finding that when I create a new document whatever I put in it is grey! I changed the colour for the background I wanted to blue before creating the document, and the minute I filled the document with blue it turned to grey and the colour swatch changed to grey. This also happens when I put in one of the graphics that come with the program - as soon as it dropped inteh document it turns grey.
