Photoshop :: CS6 Painting - Take Pink / Color Over Black And It Turns Red
Sep 3, 2013
I have the brush and the layer set to 100% opacity and the layer is set to normal but it's not coming out normal.. I choose a pink color and stroke somewhere and it comes off as a highlighter yellow and looks like it's about 20% opacity in other places on the layer the color doesn't even show up.. I take a pink color and color over a black and it turns red.. and other places it's completely normal. Also i can erase a color and then paint in that spot but if i don't erase first it won't let me paint there.
Â
Btw I've tried checking my layers brush settings and opacity all fine. I'm using photoshop CS6
I have Photoshop CS. When I try to use the type tool by clicking on it and then clicking on the image (to place the cursor), the background of the iamge turns a pinkish colour. My foreground and background colours are both white. My settings are default ones.
I have tried to use Steve Pattersons color grid design tutorial to place a grid over a photo. When I drag my color photo into the new document it turns black & white. What I can try to keep this from occurring? I am using CS6 with Windows 7.
This is probably super simple. I do a lot of transparency stuff for the Web. My background color for the most part turns out to be black. I get my transparency but the program I'm using at the moment does a cleaner job with white. When it's black I see a little trash of black around the edge of the graphic. In the past I've come up with white quite by accident and it was clean as a whistle. I'm exporting as PNG, True Color + Alpha.
Im having a really bad day working on CC Illustrator, i copied a .ai file and a .eps file from my old computer to continue working on a logo. And everythings works well, without the colors. Â I want it BLACK, 000000, but the Illustrator turns it into differnt blacks and brown! Never seen this before. Â When I copy my work back on the old computer and open it on CS3 it shows that it is black, but when i copy it on my CC Photoshop it shows up brown?
I tired making a new file, copying things over, making a new project writing randoms things but its all brown, and i tired to change both CMYK and RBG, and ofcourse the color! It worked fine if I wanted blue or red, but not BLACK.
The CS6 mixer brush stops painting and turns into a hand icon, with only the index finger out, when I paint near the top left of my screen. It's about 3 inches from the left and 2 inches from the top. Â I don't have this problem in CS5.5/CS5.1 or CS5 . what the hand icon with only index finger out is for? It's not the move tool icon. I should also add that I'm using Win7 and a Cintiq. and I should add that the standard brushes don't have this problem in CS6.
Trying to do a normal projection painting and getting darker skins. I tried to turn on and off the gigatel to see if fixes the problem but still gives me darker color. Tried using Ptex to see if this fixes the problem, problem still remains. None of the techniques I tried worked...
When I use the standard mudbox base head, no issues. It paints as it should. When I open my sculpted mesh portrait, same workflow and it gives me much darker image as the video shows.

My system spec:
I’m using Nvidia GTX 560 Ti, 1G ( Driver version 9.18.13.697 - 02-October-2012 ) Windows 7 Pro 64bits. cpu i7 860, 2.8 ghz 16 GB rams.
i have photoshop 7. I recently saw an image made using 2 pictures and htem the apply image feature. i cant seem to do it right, i open both images, click on the one that i want to apply to the other, but when i click apply image, the picture turns black.
How do I make the dimension shown black instead of pink? I had to suppress the fillet from the drawing in order to grab the edge to get the true dimension then when i unsuppressed the fillet the dimensions turned pink. I also used a section view but that did not fix my problem either.
I have selected black colour but when I am trying to paint it, it comes in light grey its the same with white as well. Layer has no Blending options and im starting to thing its something wrong with Photoshop.
When I try to merge to HDR pro, the entire photo becomes black. It is still the same photo because when I increase the exposition I can almost make out the original photo. I tried to work on the exposition of the three photos, but that didn't work. I tried everything that I read on the Adobe Forum, but nothing is working. Up until about a month ago, it was working perfectly. I have photoshop cs6 with the latest upgrades and a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 with 3.4 GHz and 32 GB ram.
I have a little Bug in Adobe Photoshop CC which is really annoying.I have the Bug on my Dell XPS 15 L502X with Intel Core I7, 8GB DDR3-1333 Ram and Intel HD 3000/ nVidia GeForce 540 GTX..Actually I use Windows 8 but I had have the same Problem with Windows 7 on the same Machine  every time I zoom OR when I will ad a Font the Picture goes to black, when I zoom in or out than a bit it changes to normal again. When I type then with a Font it changes black again until I zoom in or out a bit again. This is really annoying when I try to work cause it really takes time I don't have  Photoshop runs on the HD 3000 as far as I see (cause in the Options I only can choose this card uhm, the GeForce 540 activates first when the Graphpower from the HD3000 is to less in the Intel Drivers opinion).
Every time i try to use the type tool my canvas turns black as soon as i make a text box. It goes away if i click on a new layer but if i then try to edit the text it comes back, its makes it very diffifcult to make any form of text. I am on Windows 8,
I am editing some artwork in PS. I use quick keys to go between: b,e,g...(brush, erase, paintbucket). As I move through the image I zoom in and out with key strokes. I haven't figured out just what combination brings up a compass, but when it appears my canvas (not the image, but the whole canvas) kants to one side or another. If I see it in time I mess with it to get it back, but as I don't know what it is called I'm having a terrible time looking up how to control it and set it back to square. It seems like all the layers are okay within the image, so nothing is out of registration, but I don't know what is happening. Â Any tool that is activated? Then I can figure out when to use it for real and how to undo it when I don't want it. I'm on a Mac Book Pro using Master Collection 6 and the touch pad. It seems like my finger motions might be triggering it. I have tried to step back, but it wasn't an option. Undo didn't do anything.
I recently downloaded Photoshop from the Cloud. When I try to use the text tool the whole canvas turns black. I can turn it back on by toggling the eye open and shut on the layer but when I try to write text again the screen turns black again and soon as I click the image.Â
CS6 on imac and canon MG6150 printer. When I print a photo with areas of black the result looks like the black has been solarized and it prints out as a dirty grey with black edges.
When I create a text layer, the whole image turns black. If I enter the text blindly, I will see the expected results when I finish and click on another tool. If I try to edit the text layer, everything turns black again.
I am not using the type mask tool. I can select and move the layer and I can blend the layer; I just can't see what I am typing. Using Windows 8
Before in CS5 when you click an option, the text would turn white, now they stay black making them hard to see. It seems to be desktop appearance specific so if I change my desktop theme the background color would change making the black text easier to see (text stays black). This seems like a bug, because the highlited text color should turn to white not stay black. Which was how it was in CS5.
See the attached mini screen grab. I've built a North America map showing Alaska and filled it with a gradient and saved it. When I re-open the file, Alaska has turned black as shown. When I rebuild the color, it re-opens as black again.  I've tried numerous workarounds, including pasting into a new document, making a new layer, and even deleting the rest of North America to eliminate the possibility of file size or memory limits. None of these workarounds has worked.
When I try to select areas in PS CS6 my whole document turns black. As soon as I deselect it comes back in view.Is there something wrong with my setting?
Creating a collage. Just placed a new object with a layer mask. Now I need to create a hue/saturation, levels adjustment layer and color balance adjustment layer all with masks. Ok, no problem, but when I do this, my original picture turns black and white.
I have a new problem in Maya 2013. When I select the mesh and select 3D paint it turns black... and if I set any color I paint with grays. It happens with all my characters, and I didn't had this problem before.
