Sep 27, 2013I have this heart I need to fill in pink. Whenever I try to fill it in pink it gets a pink outline but the main white bit gets filled grey.

Photoshop :: CS6 Painting - Take Pink / Color Over Black And It Turns Red
Sep 3, 2013I have the brush and the layer set to 100% opacity and the layer is set to normal but it's not coming out normal.. I choose a pink color and stroke somewhere and it comes off as a highlighter yellow and looks like it's about 20% opacity in other places on the layer the color doesn't even show up.. I take a pink color and color over a black and it turns red.. and other places it's completely normal.Also i can erase a color and then paint in that spot but if i don't erase first it won't let me paint there.
Btw I've tried checking my layers brush settings and opacity all fine. I'm using photoshop CS6

Aug 25, 2013I need to make a bright pink/hot pink type of color for the web/monitors.
I been through tons of pantones, art books, etc... All the pinks look like pastel or extremely dull, not bright at all, like that hot pink, neon pink type of color.
1. is there a certain pantone/color/etc that will give me that hot pink color that will look hot pink on a website? if so what is it?
2. if there is no color for this, is there some way to simulate it?

Apr 23, 2012In Corel PhotoPaint X5, changing the fill color was possible by e.g. double clicking the (left-most) color square, then hitting Edit. Already, I found this was a bit too many clicks. Now in Corel PhotoPaint X6 it's gotten worse -- after hitting Edit, I'm not in the left-most tab "Models", but in the right tab "Palettes"!
My question: Is there any way I can open the Uniform Fill dialog with one click? (The Color Docker doesn't have a big color preview field so it doesn't work well for me when selecting and changing a color.) And is there any chance Corel will fix the bug with the wrong tab being opened?
Illustrator :: Fill Section But Using Fill / Stroke Only Changes Line Color
Feb 17, 2013I traced an image earlier, expanded it then wanted to change the line colour. For some reason I couldn't get this to work even though I've done it in the past. So, I used the magic wand to select the line then dragged it into my new document and changed the line colour.
Now, I want to change the fill on certain sections, however when I change the stroke it changes the colour of the line and when I change the fill it changes the color of the line.

Apr 21, 2013I did my first logo design for a customer. I exported all the files in CMYK. My customer just let me know that when she printed the logo off on her printer it came out a fushia pink color instead of the dark purple.

How can I achieve that with a eye dropper tool? Every time when I try to sample a color from the image, the whole circle will change to purple instead of just the stroke? I have tried multiple key combination, shift, alt, ctrl but they all don't work.

I'm trying to find a way to automatically set the stroke color of each square to the respective fill color. Is there an Illustrator script somewhere that would achieve that? I am not aware of an internal Illustrator command for this purpose.

Photoshop :: Color Fill Vector Masks
Feb 6, 2013I create a fill adjustment layer. I create a vector shape and apply it as a mask.I have the mask selected, now I draw more on that layer and it continues to draw.
What actually happens:
create fill adjustment layer - Hey, starting off strong create a vectore shape and apply it as a mask under Layer>vectore mask>current path - different icon, but it seems correct..I select the path under the Paths tab, since the vector mask doesn't show u next to the layer icon, and attempt to draw more shapes -here's where it goes wrong. Instead of drawing on the path layer I have selected a work path layer is created.
I can't actually figure out how to draw on the existing path. If you select the paths from the work path, you can copy and paste them into the actual color fill shape path layer. That works.Now try the same thing with a different layer. Oh....NOW it works. It actually seems to work with all the other adjustment layers. It just doesn't work with fill.
What I think is happening: Some smarty pants realized that there doesn't really have to be a difference between a shape layer and a fill with a vector mask on it. Yeah, that's true, but you're limiting me to 1 single object on that layer now.

There has to be a way in either adobe 7.0 pro or in ps 7.0 that you can fill color into an object. Also, for some reason when i create text boxes they don't appear nor do they print. I don't need anything too complicated, so I just added a solid color fill layer and erased everything that wasn't that particular color. However, I erased a bit too much, and instead of adding another fill layer for this one little part, is it possible for me to draw into the layer to add the color back?
I tried taking a black brush and painting into the layer, but nothing happened.

I noticed that the Style box to the right of the color box on the top bar had a white box with a red line through it. I then chose Simple Outer from the drop down box and it still will not fill. Apr 9, 2013I'm trying to figure out a way to automate a simple, yet repetative process I do countless times a day. Ideally, I'd like to tie it to a keystroke to speed up my workflow.
I work on line art and colorways for footwear, so the way I'm coloring these shapes and strokes break apart the different materials and pieces of the shoe.
While coloring line art, I work with Pantone spot colors as fills for closed path objects. I then have to manually apply that same color to the stroke, set the stroke to 0.5px weight, convert that spot stroke color to CMYK, and add 15% to the K value.
I found some code in an older post for applying the actively selected object's fill color to the stroke, but I'm having but I'm having trouble with the next step of figuring out how to take that spot stroke color and convert it to a CMYK build that I can then add 15% black to. Is this something that's even possible? I've spent about an hour playing with the script and have only had luck matching the fill color or turning the stroke white.

Nov 20, 2012I will be working on a project soon where I will have to change the fill color and header overlay for about 128 images. I know how to create an action to change the header, but I don't know how to make one that changes the fill color. I have a list of each hex code for each image on a spreadsheet. Is there anyway i could create an action to read the information from that and create each image accordingly?
I would do it by hand, but I anticipate getting several projects of this type in the future, so I would like to automate as much as I can!
