How do I change my background screen colour in full edit, as it has gone from grey to bright pink!
I can't see where I need to go to change it back to grey!!
I pressed some command key in error and got a bright blue background in the application frame around the image I've got open in Photoshop cs6. How do I get it back to the neutral gray?

View 5 Replies View Relatedas a user of pse 6 I 'm used to work with darkgrey background in the organizer.
This works perfectly for quickly assessing brightness and contrast of pictures.
In pse 10 however I could not find any button to change the preset lightgrey background colour to darkgrey.
I need to make a bright pink/hot pink type of color for the web/monitors.
I been through tons of pantones, art books, etc... All the pinks look like pastel or extremely dull, not bright at all, like that hot pink, neon pink type of color.
1. is there a certain pantone/color/etc that will give me that hot pink color that will look hot pink on a website? if so what is it?
2. if there is no color for this, is there some way to simulate it?
In Elements 6, every time we try to change bright white areas to another color, it doesn't work.
No matter what color is picked, the result is always an area of dark, charcoal gray.
Evidently, the program does not recognize Bright White as a color.
Is there a way to make these changes using this program?
I can't open the full screen view/edit option in the organizer. It keeps 'pinging' me...

View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter Update 2 and Hotfix 1 (I haven't noticed after which of them exactly it happened) some options in X6, when they are active, are receiving some grey-pink background together with the small icon near them - for example Object position, Object size, Angle of rotation and others. You will see them when you select some object.
In the same color are also some items in the menus without obvious principle. I don't think that this is intentional. Or I cannot see it?
When I'm working in guided or quick edit I'm fine but if I switch to full edit mode I lose the gray background and my workspace turns parent with my desktop showing through. I can still work on the photo but the workspace itself is changed.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm working on a large image and while the Organizer is fine with it, neither the Editor nor the Full Screen view of the Organizer will work with it.
Currently I have MaxImageSize at 200M, but can't find a similar setting for the Editor, and clearly it doesn't work for the full screen view either, so if there is a setting that enables these functions, that would be useful information.
I accidently changed the color of the background outside of my docked image from grey to black and can not figure out how to reset it to the default grey. The workspace dock color is grey until I dock an image and then the color surrounding my image changes to black. This is occuring in the Full Edit Mode.

I know it is quite easy to do in Photoshop, but I forgot how to do this. I want to replace green background in the top image to darker and lighter pink stripes to match the color of the website.
I've been going in the direction of:
1) Select color range (Pick green and just + the other shades of green to it)
2) Create Clipping mask from the Selection (I actually have all the green background on white and nothing else on the screen, but I am kind of stuck at this point)
All of a sudden today when i went to process photos, in either Lightroom 4 or CS5 all the skin tones are bright pink? They are fine when viewing them on my computer, just not threw adobe products.

I just recently got photoshop 7 and have a problem with it, I currently have PS6 installed and it runs fine. When I installed PS7 today as it was starting up after the installation it came up with a problem with my monitor I ignored it because I didnt and still dont think it is/was the problem.
The problem I have is well...pink. Everything is pink, many shades of pink, I can even get some dark purples but thats it I have no access to normal colors, even when I change the RGB settings.
I have a light pink background behind an image which I would like to turn pure white. How can I select the image and white out the background without changing the image? None of the mask tools seem to have any effect.

The amount of red saturation is abnormal and the photo remains this way afterwards, even when viewed in the organizer or opened with other software. View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently came across with Photoshop. Basically when I try to use grey as a colour, it seems to have a pink hue to it and looks terrible. The grey isn't pure and looks all sorts of wrong.
I've checked the colour settings and everything is default, my monitor seems fine as the usual grey appears perfectly on any websites. It's just on Photoshop, things simply don't look right. So I'm a bit stuck on what to do next, as anyone else had this problem before and is there a possible fix?

I work in full screen with Menu Bars 98% of the time. I also enjoy the new save in background feature. The problem is that when in full screen I can't tell when it's saving and the status of the save. This is particularly frustrating when I'm trying to close a file. I think there needs to be an option to have it save in background but pop up a status window, or some way to see the status of the save while in full screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to click and drag an image with the mouse when using Full Screen Preview under the Edit Tab.
I see the hand icon and the scroll bars when the whole image can't fit on the screen but when I left click it's like I hit the Esc button.
Clicking the scrollbars will work but isn't as convenient. Under the Manage tab it works correctly. I have reset the workspace with no luck.
I use this feature a lot and would like to know if others have this problem.
The problem existed in X5 SP2 and now X5 SP3.
