How do I make a video or animation of me drawing with gimp? basically I want a video of me drawing. I would just videotape me doing it but that wouldn't be good enough quality. basically I want a video of what I see on the screen while I am drawing.

What I would like to know, is: How can I animate rotation of a layer? I want to rotate my layer at an angle and animate it. But when I rotate, the first animation frame is also rotated, resulting in NO animation between the frames.
Any way to convert a .xcf file to a video or animation that shows all the things you did to the image from beginning to end. I want to show a friend how I drew this picture, but I'm already done and only have the .xcf of the completed drawing.

i cut out an airplane from one photo and try to superimpose that airplane on a video in adobe premiere
however, when i superimpose, the airplane is shown in white background. i dont need any background whatsoever. how do i make only the plane to appear on a video?

I'm trying to make a texture for a model in a video game, and I want some of it to be transparent. This is done by editing a text file that tells the model to use the textures alpha channel. things in the alpha channel that are white are transparent and things that are black aren't.

I've a problem with rendering an animated video. The animation takes 1800 frames (1:00 min), but after clean-up, the maximum file-size is 1.0 Gb. Depending on the resolution I rendered in, it results in a 11 second video.

Is there a way to do that within max 20111? I currently have in my environment map and Effect menu common parameter tab my movie. I then have an instance of it in my materials area. Within materials area I can change my W: Angle to rotate that diffuse map where my video is listed and it rotates with materials menue but just not in my animation background. I can't do that, since there is no video layer menu (not even greyed out). It was in the PS CS6 extended version, did they remove it in CC? What should I do?

When I plug it in via USB I can import videos/photos to my computer, etc...so it is recognized. However, when I try to use it in VideoStudio X4 the only option I get is a webcam. Are there any special drivers I need to make this work? I have searched google a bit, but maybe I am missing something. I am using the trial version of the program to try and get things worked out before I actually purchase it. The software looks wonderful for stop animation so I really want to make this work.

I exported a 10 second cartoon I made of flowers lip syncing to the audio track that I'm doing the video for and when I rendered, the background was white. I wasn't sure how to composite that onto my FCP video and so here I am....
why my video plays faster than the set animated sequence i have saved in the playback preferences. I have a camera on a motion path and have slow the playback speed to 3fps yet when i play the avi video in quicktime after it's rendered it plays much faster.

I mean that in first frame there is nothing visible and then frame by frame object grows untill it's visible completely. I thougt I could make it by cutting the girder into parts and then "fly" them one by one into position to create the final object. But is there any way to make it smooth, like gradient from nothing to whole?
