I see nothing on these pages about Watermarks. Is there a way in GIMP to embed a watermark? OR, if there is no way to do that would a second, TOP layer, suffice for embedding something before flattening that would bar people from using photos for stock items?
It should have "sRGB" on this line but is now blank - indicating that the embedding to the file did not occur in the Export from Gimp.
This must be simple to correct - it was previously working without my knowledge.
Update - Since posting I've experimented with different files and it seems that if sRGB is embedded by the manufaturer's software - in my case I shoot RAW files and open in Canon's DPP to view and convert to .tif to edit in Gimp - it will be retained by Gimp all through its Import and Export processes.
But ... for whatever mysterious reasons this normality has been interrupted earlier and I need to go back to some Gimp files and re-Export with sRGB now embedded.
When I change the opacity on my text layer, the text does not fade. It disolves instead. The resolution was terrible, became worse and then the text suddenly dissapered.
I don't think it was the disolve type either when it is set in that mode. However,I tried changing the mode anyway
I changed the mode to normal, divide,. overlay, burn, soft light, subtract. Whatever I tried it made no difference.
I jsut got gimp, and I am using it to make wallpapers for myself and my family. I have a few pictures of my favorite baseball player and I would like to make myself a wall with them, but they all have a watermark on them. I would generally try and find pics without the watermark, but I can't find anything because he is not a big name. How to remove the watermark from the images.
I want to generate a transparent embossed text watermark .png file that can be batch-applied in Lightroom. I get how to apply a bump map to an image inside GIMP, but I haven't figured a good way to get an otherwise transparent .png with just the watermark.
Ideally, this would be totally transparent except for lit areas (white, at varying degrees of opacity) and shaded areas (black, with varying degrees of opacity). In GIMP, I can apply a bump map to anything opaque -- lightening and darkening the color, I guess -- but I can't apply it to a transparent layer.
If there's no straightforward way to do that, I imagine I could bump map onto gray, turn the resulting light grays into a mask for a white layer and the dark grays into a mask for a black layer. The content of the watermark will change, so it would be outstanding if there's a simpler way to do this.
I would like to add a hidden watermark to my photos, but not sure how to do so. I did find a tutorial of how to make the watermark in GIMP, but it was written using an old version of GIMP. I have the current 2.8 version.
I'm looking to figure out how to embed HTML into paint.net
I know with similar programs you are able to do this. I'd basically like to make a picture frame and have a youtube video play in the background of the picture frames.
I have just started to design my first webpage using Xara Designer Pro 6. I am attemptimg to add a clock widget to the page. how to add the embed code to a page.
I want to embed a Tiff (raster image) in my drawing without using Attach, Xref or as an OLE object. I've done a fair amount of searching but haven't found the "correct" answer.
I'm using AutoCAD Map 3D 2012 on a company system. I create hybrid drawings by attaching a pdf or tiff but it requires a path to the graphic object, which makes things very difficult on a highly managed server system. If the drawing is moved to a different location, the image doesn't move with it and now the hybrid drawing is blank. As such, the image must be embedded without an external path.
I can't use etransmit. I can't use an OLE. I was told about IEMBED and I actually managed to make it work (once) but can't recreate it. I haven't been able to find a useful procedure or instructions for IEMBED.
I have recently started designing brochures for my company. I completed 4. I am quite new as a designer.
all 4 printed well, had no problems.this last one, the printer gave the foll:
1. The is overprint issues on the pdf files.
2. Some pages the fonts are not embedded.
3. There is spot colours in the job.
it is 24 pages
I did not change my setting at all as from my previous brochures. So I am completely lost in how to solve it and not for it to happen again. We used the same printer for all the brochures.
Even the flyers I recently did, saying the same problems. Am using the same printer.
I have a lot of existing eps-files of which the option "embed all fonts" is unchecked. Know I have to check the "embed all fonts" in the existing eps-files. I tried to modify the script below, but it seems that the embedallfonts is NOT working.
When I do it manually (without script), then it works fine. With script, it doesn't work.
#target illustrator // PART 1 var doc = app.activeDocument; // PART 2 -> herbewaren eps als eps [Code] ........
Another question will be: can I get a dialog box to put in the path to the eps-files, I can do thereafter it in batch instead of each time opening and closing a file.
I am running Photoshop CS5 on a Mac 10.8.4.I have basic photoshop experience. My designer has left me in the lurch at a daedline and I need to get some material to the printer ASAP.The design is finished. The printer wants all the text outlined and the images embedded then a "high quality PDF" submitted to print.how to outline text and imbed images. (I know how to savw to PDF).
I have a logo that has numerous layers - which I used to created depth with styles in PSD.
If I scale my logo image 80% - the layer effects remain as it was at 100%. Can I do something to have the layer effects scale accordingly with the image?
I tried flattening the image - but it doesn't keep all of the effects.
I would like to try to embed an image, in a clouds/fog effect, but don't want clouds in the whole entire picture.
Is there a way I could possibly, make some clouds or something. I want it to look realistic, like the stuff that comes out of an car exhaust. A kind of fog/smoke coating a portion of the photo.
Due to customer constraints I have to embed .tif images into AutoCAD drawings. This is a manual operation doing a copy ->pastespecial. I was wondering if there was any way to automate this? The pastespecial command doesn't seem to take arguments to bypass the dialoge box and therefore does not allow me to batch embed .tifs programatically.
I'm doing about 200 Illustrator drawings that come from a PDF document. I've created an action that resizes the placed artwork and moves it to the correct location on the artboard. I tried adding the "Embed Image" command to the action with no luck. Is there a way to do this with a script or shortcut?
I have been tying to figure out how I could easily embed multiple linked images easily. I have some 1000 .svg images which have about 1-7 .tif images linked in to them. I now need to get those links embedded and becouse of the amount of images I'm hoping to make an action out of it.
