I'm new to CorelDraw X5. I just downloaded a trial to play with
I would like to know if it's possible in CorelDraw to make a line with the Pen tool and then taper the start and end of that line and what the steps are to do this.
With all of you fine teachers, I have the know-how to get the start and end values of a line.
Do you think there is a way to get a point returned that represents the true intersection of the two lines, without having to involke a user defined "getpoint" function using "intersect" osnap?
I have a simple solid channel of 260 m length (shape of rectangular drain), The bottom slab I wanted to tapered outward say by 1 degree. I used solid edit > face> taper> choose the bottom face, choose the axis (longer) and give the angle, then error shows
"No loop through new edges and vertices." sometimes "Modelling Operation Error: Change in topology detected."
I want to add say a circle and an arrow at the two ends of a line. I am able to do it using Blocks for one single line by inserting the blocks at desired locations. But how to do it for say all the lines in a drawing or shape file without customization.
I have to draw hundreds of lines that have same start point. How can i do this?
I am trying to insert a picture but seem impossible for me. Sow i have lines with the same start point and different endpoints. There is a short way to do this. so avoid to enter the same start point for hundreds times or snap the the same point infinitely... what about Copy with grips or Change command in this case?
I created a linetype using text shape. Let’s say, that my line is only AAAAAA. Now when I apply this linetype in the drawing, the lines always have a small, line before and after the characters. Actually you see this: -AAAA- . How can I delete or hide the start and end lines.
Having used another CAD program for several years, I was used to the idea that all radius dimensions, like of a given arc, would easily start at the center of the arc, thereby denoting the position of the arc's center.
I'm slightly bugged with some CAD users, even books on the subject by autocad users, that give an arc's dimension from the outside of the arc, yet fail to show the location of the arc's center when it may not be self explanatory. Not good dimensioning practice from what little I've been schooled...
So, in AutoCAD 2007, how do I get an arc's radius dimension line to start at the center and point out to the edge. I can do all kinds of things to the position of the text, etc, but can't figure how to get it to start at the center. (The dimension line needs to start at the center.)
I have been searching for a macro to export the start and end point of a line coordinates to excel, but I can only find information on how to export 3D Points.
Is it possible to program a macro that allows me to export the start and end point of various lines in a sketch?
The objective of this is to connect an excel file which is updated when I create a line with it correspondent points, then i could not only import these x,y,z coordinates from excel to inventor but I whould be able to update my spreedsheet whenever I change my sketch.
Is this something easy I can do? Have my Macro Auto Open Upon Start Up?
Okay, so the simple macro i have been working on isnt just for personal use. We will use this macro all day long - but the issue is - my coworkers im sharing the macro with would prefer the macro open when program opens.
Now that i had set the macro's position down - how do i got about having the macro auto open upone start up.
I have installed CorelDraw X6 today. Whwn I start CDR or PP I get a Member login popup. If I try to login there i get an error: "You do not have a Product membership...".
Is there a way to see or determine the start and end point of a drawing path? I'm exporting a CorelDraw file as a .plt file to a plotter/cutter and the manufacturer of the plotter/cutter saws the start point of the cut is determined in CorelDraw.
I want to be able regulate where the cutter starts cutting the material and where it stops at the end of the cut path.
I installed X6 today and when I got to start the program it stops running immediately. When I click on the icon the start up window appears but then freezes on "Creating Application Environment" and then just stops running. I am trying to run x6 on a relatively new hp pavilion g6 laptop.
All the products installed on my Win 7 Pro 64 Start Menu show the jumplist properly, including Corel X5. This is not working for X6. Yes, I know I can use the Open Recent. menu once I am in CorelDraw.
When I try and launch Corel Draw x6 in 32 or 64 bit mode I get this error
The application was unable to start correctly (0X0000142) . Click ok to close application. Try this as a trial first before I buy I purchased x3 and x4 they wont work on windows 7. Cant get it to launch
I'm having a problem with my Corel x6, every time I try to start the application it stuck for a minute or so on the splash screen and then I get error 1 (Try to restarting your computer and then restarting the program).
I can't seem to get my profile start and end station labels to appear even after I checked "Label start station" and "label end station" in the profile view properties.
4. chckdsk for error and fix.still error so I've gone through this.
5. I uninstall Autocad 2014 completely, uninstall it manually one by one, deleted left over folder of autodesk or similar software to it, deleted its registry keys.just like the instruction on how to remove autocad completely in autodesk, I just followed it all. [after Reboot]
I want to start AutoCAD LT without the empty drawing. Just AutoCAD and the welcome screen. How can i do that? I always close the first drawing and begin a new one by choosing out of several templates or start with an existing drawing, rename and modify it. For NEW or OPEN i like to use the welcome screen.
I just installed 3DS Max 2012 with a student license, but I encountered a problem that doesn't seem to go away. Whenever I open it, it gets to the "Starting 3DS Max 2012" screen and then freezes. The process freezes as well. Is there a way I can fix this? I have Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-Bit, and a Dual-Core Processor. My computer meets all the System Requirements except an insufficient video card.
I have a VB .NET Dll that add a new ribbon in AUTOCAD.When I load this dll from AUTOCAD, this new ribbon is well added.I'm trying to start this dll with AUTOCAD Start.
I've tried to load the DLL from the acad.lsp but the DLL is loaded before AUTOCAD load the ribbon, then the dll is well loaded but my new ribbon is not displayed !.
Entire Corel suite freezes on start up - I cannot do anything. Reinstalling also does not work - suddenly buttons on the installer dissapeared - there is no text on them and when I click them nothing happens.
A week ago I have installed service pack 3 and everything worked fine. It has all gone wrong again. And installation of the latest patches does not work anymore.
I am running Windows 7 64-bit and I've got a feeling that is must have something to do with system updates.
Luckily I found your site I have used CorelDraw X4 for a couple of years now, mainly for my crafting hobby. For some strange reason now, sometime when I created a dashed line (as I always have before) and send to my cutter it arrives as a solid cut line and not a "pounce" line. It doesn't always happen to all of the dashed lines which on the visual in Corel are correct. Even if I try to delete a problem line and create a new correct one and then send again to the cutter, either this or even one of the correct "pounce" lines will appear as a solid cut line. I've never had the problem before so I tried a "repair" to Corel which doesn't seem to have had any effect.
I have a shape I've drawn with just lines, no fill or anything, and I'm trying to cut off part of it to make it flush with an adjacent object. Just trying to cut outlines, and remove the unwanted portions.
In the manual it says:
1.In the toolbox, click the Knife tool . 2.Position the Knife tool over the object’s outline where you want to start cutting. The Knife tool snaps upright when positioned properly. 3.Click the outline to start cutting.4.Position the Knife tool over the object’s outline where you want to stop cutting, and click again.
I do this and... - NOTHING. No cutting of any kind occurs. The entire object remains completely unchanged. I also tried using the "eraser" and all it did was nudge my lines around. Not quite what I wanted, either.
I'm occasionally using CD X4 just for fun (so i'm not that experienced). My friend who has a digital printer, once printed one of my designs but there were stripes (like you have when there's little ink in a printer) only in gradient filled areas When i fill a shape with gradient colors, i also see these stripes on my screen (when i look very close) in CD and also in pdf when i export the file. What can i do?
