I'm working on a big document (we use cdr for producing brochures). Â I know that when I save it takes around 30s, but as soon as I click the save icon it greys out as if it's saved the document instantaneously (as do the save, save as and save as template menu commands). Â
Unless I wait the 30s or so, when I try to do something the program either doesn't respond or crashes. Â If I wait, it's ok - trouble is I don't know exactly how long to wait as there is no on-screen indication (and the icon is telling me it's all done, which it isn't).
When I Save For Web the color shifts. It becomes more vibrant (which I would prefer...). I have reset the settings for photoshop followed by a uninstall/install of photoshop and am still getting the color shift. I got new monitors somewhat recently but set up the color profile via adobe gamma's thing ( I had to download that seperatly, I couldn't find it in the Control Panel).I don't think it's the color profile of the monitor because everything else seems fine. I have never had to use any of the settings for color management before so I've never opened those (I've hit Ctrl+y on occassion on accidnet..) Here is a jpg of the difference(of course it's been processed 2x..so it's a little bit more vibrant but it's still visible)I included the settings I have in the jpg.
Is there a feature where I can take several low- light pictures and use GIMP to compute what is noise and what isn't? The concept is pretty straight forward, and I can see it being part of this software.
I just installed the trial version of CS6 and it's working great so far, except for one major problem. I can't use the "save as" function at all, when I click it, it does nothing. No errors messages, just nothing.
There's probably a simple explanation, but if I have a file open for a long time in Photoshop the blacks will start to appear oversaturated/blocked up. If I close and reopen file it looks normal again. Â I am using OS X Lion, Photoshop 5, Apple 30" Cinema display. My monitor is calibrated with a i1 Display by X-Rite and resets according to amibent light.
i open up a file which contains more than 100 layers, some of them are hidden and the other are not, bascially i want to check out some of the hidden layers and i did on one, as we all know, by alt click the eye icon, we can go backwards to restore the original visibility settings of all other layers, my problem is i unhide one layer and then unhide another layer above and change the layer transparency to check out that layer, and after that i turned on another layers, then all the sudden i have found that i cant go backwards anymore, i cant restore all the original visibility settings, even by click undo many times,so right now i have 3 layers visible in the scene and cant go back to restore the oringinal visibility unless i revert the file,
Out of nowhere, the 'Save As' function isn't available in the Print Module. I have updated to 4.4, restarted Lightroom, etc. I can still export the images, just not save as a jpg.Â
Running CAD Arcitecture 2010 and I am not able to use the "save-as" function to save as a dwg file. Using the the same down-load disk I have not had any problem with "save-as" on my laptop.
So far what I have found in this forum and TheSwamp the best way is to use DeepClone of BlockTableRecord but the objects in original BlockTableRecord need to be DeepCloneObjectes into new block. Otherwise new block will have all objects  with ObjectId from old BlockTabkeRecord.
When I try the 'Save copy as' DXF route it does not function. If I click the save button nothing happens and if I click the option button nothing happens either. In 2012 when you click the options button you would have got the option to change the export settings i.e. all sheets etc...
I do have the option to change the file formats via the drop down box in the 'save copy as' dialogue box and dxf etc are listed!
When I right click on the flat pattern in 'Model' there is no button for 'Export' in the list that appears. Therefore I cannot get to the Flat pattern dxf export options prompt as shown in this thread.
Its obvious you should be able to save as a dxf from an inventor idw as the buttons are there they are just not working!
I am having this problem with Autodesk Design Suite Premium. Inventor 2014 will not give me options, and is having problem exporting to autocad dwg. tried a reinstall as it appears to wotk properly on other similar installed machines.
I was able to use Inventor "Save Copy As" function to create zgl files. When the zgl files were viewed with "Imagination View" program, some files looked good, while some others do not show any geometry (just white background). Do I need to change anything in the Model before executing "Save Copy As" function?
How to get back to the old way to zoom in CorelDRAW? In version X5 the zoom function doesn't work as i did in earlier versions. I want the view to center to where I have the cursor when I zoom in or out.
After Installing Corel X6 I found it's no longer possible to edit bitmaps directly from CorelDraw X5. I uninstalled Photopaint X5 but that didn't work. I checked the filetype and made sure that cpt files were opening with Photopaint X6 but Edit Bitmap remains greyed out in CorelDraw X5. Is this because X5 is 32 bit and X6 is 64 bit? I still need to use X5 because various macros don't work with X6. How can I get Edit Bitmap to work both in Draw X5 and Draw X6?
I do not know why this function does not come by default in CoreDraw:Â "Center mouse when zooming with mouse wheel" From my point of view is much more accurate. The default option in recent versions is a mess when zooming with wheel. Is there a reason? There are some other features that you think have no reason to be?
When I select an anchor point with Edit Anchor tool, the Property bar activates settings for adjustment of this anchor point. I can change the angle at which anchor point receives connection. When I de-activate this button (see the picture)Â it de-activates the angle field... and nothing changes! The connector behavior is the same as before.
The question is: What is the function of that button? I think there must be only the angle field.
I am using Corel Draw X4 to create stuff to cut on a laser engraving system and am having trouble with the bitmap trace function. For example: I create a line of text. First, I convert it to a bitmap. Then I trace the bitmap using the logo option. After doing this, when I move the text on the page, it appears several of the letters (the tall ones like capital letters and so forth) are missing during the moving process, but when I stop moving it, they appear again.Â
My problem is when I save the file and then open it in my laser program, these missing letters that are present when I move the text in corel draw translate into missing letters in the laser program, so it seems this is a Corel Draw problem but I don't know how to get rid of it.
I've noticed that DRAW seems to forget whatever settings I choose for duplicate.Â
So, I found the following in the index:
"Copying objects quickly. You can use other methods to create copies of objects quickly, without using the Clipboard. You can use the plus sign (+) on the numeric keypad to place a copy of an object on top of the original object, or you can create copies instantly by pressing the Space bar or right-clicking while dragging an object."
The + sign thing is cool. Wish I had known. But the Space bar drag either doesn't work at all or puts down one copy at what is apparently a set distance from the original, and then a second copy wherever I release the mouse button. ? Win7, DRAW X6.
I am using Windows7 (64 bit) machine and CorelDRAW X6 (64 bit) software and also installed HP 5610 all-in-one scanner / printer but i noticed in CorelDRAW X6 / Corel PP x6Â acquire image >> select source... and acquire.. are disable.
it is bug or need some more software to enable for CorelDRAW x6 because HP 5610 Scanner work with other software.
How do I get a normal brush or spray function? Now, when I release the mouse button, the lines turn into a fancy balloon image. I know that comes from the Brush Stroke List or the Spraylist File List, but how do I turn those functions off?Â

On choosing an export option from the 'Save as type' box the drop down menu  flashes and closes - usually 2 or 3 times - before settling down and I can make a choice. Everything afterwards proceeds as normal.Â
I am creating a template that will have four text boxes that I will populate from a merge document. Â I need to have the envelope feature applied to each of the text boxes so any long text will be compressed to fit in the designated text box.
I understand the basic function, input text, select text, select Envelope feature but that sets the envelope box to the size of the inputted text, where I need a fixed text input box size. Â
I have a question about using the outline trace function and resolution of images.
Say for instance, I am trying to create an existing logo for a customer in which I have to pull the image off the internet. I am unable to find an image that is high resolution, so I pick one with a lower resolution, because after all, I am going to trace the logo to cut out on my cutter with a heat transfer application. It is a simple design, a heart for instance. So when I use Corel Trace, no matter how small beforehand I make said heart, when it traces it comes out jagged, like the pixelation you see on a low res image.  Is there any way to smooth this out? Or do I just need to look harder for a higher res image?
