I work in a trophy shop running laser engravers. I'm looking for a macro that would select everything on a page, flip it vertically, and do so throughout a multi-page document - I just had to do that manually for an order of 236 acrylics (all in one multi-page file!) and it - well - was a bit tedious I can make a macro to select all and flip - but I'm lost when it comes to getting it done throughout a file, I can only get it to do that a page at a time.
I have some 18 pages in an brochure design CDR file. in that only 15 pages are the printable and other 3 pages i have to Hide without deleting. it should not be published in PDF/Service Bureau.
I checked out the macro for the consecutive numbers by using the print merge option. I found out that using the print merge and merging it to a new document does exactly what I needed to do to be as efficient as possible, except if i need to number 120 labels, it opens up 120 pages on the document. How to merge the pages to have 1 page with all 120 labels. I know there is a way to put as many labels as possible on a page when using a regular printer, but I'm printing on viynil and theres a cut contour I need
I would like to split - ungroup an object and than put every part to a separate page ( need to export it to PDF after ). Since there are a lot of parts I would like to know if there is a quicker way, a macro ore something, to do this automatically.
I have 100 of pages of a clients logos, I want gather them into a single A3 page, normally we can do this thing by giving print command (Imposition tool in print preview) but we can get PDF output or can directly print it, but I require cdr, so is this possible? I tried making PDF and importing it into corel but most of logos not coming well bcz those are bitmap, some bitmaps are viewing as a horizontal sliced.
Surely the Find/Replace Objects dialog boxes don't just restrict itself to searching on the current page... that would be stupid but it seems to be that way.
what's the biggest filesize in terms of pages that you people have handled? I have handled a file with 84 pages, it was 122 mb in filesize. I split it into two parts for smooth working.
I have a problem printing a merge booklet 8 pages. I am printing to a booklet printer. The printer folds and staples the booklet. When I merges the print I cannot “group” the pages to 8. The printer collates all the pages and make one booklet. How do I group the booklet one by one to several booklets of 8 pages. Windows 7 - 64 bit.
when we set a document to print in landscape in Corel and then leave it as portrait in the printing preferences, it will print landscape which is fine, then if you put it to landscape in print preferences (still having it as landscape in the program) it will print portrait!
and
if we set a document to print in landscape in Corel and then leave it as portrait in the printing preferences, it will print landscape which is fine, then print 1 copy it will stay at landscape, if you then print 3 copies it will switch to portrait.
Both of the above are happening on a HP 5550 laser printer, we have 4 classrooms each with a 5550 printer in.
When working on a document with facing pages, with previous versions of CorelDraw htting the page up or page down keys on the keyboard would change to the next set of pages.
With Draw X5, you have to hit page up or page down twice to switch to the next set of pages.
Not a huge deal to hit it twice now, but is there a way to set X5 to the previous behavior where with facing pages one page down would take you from page set 1-2 to 3-4?
Is there any way different than drag and drop for moving pages in multiple pages designs. I have some presentation designs lately and have to change pages numbers or move multiple pages.
Drag and drop is not user friendly on 30-50 pages documents.
system configuration:
Win 7 Pro 64bit, Intel i5-2500, 8 GB RAM, 128 SSD SAMSUNG + 2TB on hard drives.
I need to export pages (ie set as default ie pg3 - pg8) as .eps file. we would like to have the page name included as a suffix of the file name i.e. customer_name_2XL.eps
As a long time Adobe user, and now new user of Coreldraw X3, I am trying to figure out why, when I create a new layer on page one, that layer instantly duplicates on page two? Is there a preference that allows me to turn this off?
I am just curious if it is possible to take say a 100 page .cdr file and split it up into perhaps five 20 page .cdr files in a more or less automatic manner.
Sure, I can copy/paste the pages individually, but if this is possible it can save valuable time, energy and maybe even my sanity (if that is even possible).
I create a pdf page and save. when i add a second page to the document and save, the second page is not saved in the pdf. how can I get the whole document to save in one pdf file?
I've just published to PDF a booklet I created. It will be printed but my client asks me for a screen version to be mailed. The problem is that if I set Acrobat Reader to "facing pages" the front cover (page 1) is displayed with page 2, but I want the cover to be shown alone and then page 2&3, 4&5 and so on until the back cover.
I hope this makes a sense to you.
Is there a way to create such a PDF document from Corel Draw X4?
I am preparing a multiple page document and would like to know if there is a method of importing separate .eps files into individual pages, with only one image per page. I have been using CorelDRAW X3 for awhile, but do not know any Visual Basic to create a macro to do what I am looking for. Is there any method of importing each file to a new page, rather than adding a new page and importing the file separately?
Is there a way to copy paste more than 5 pages through page sorter view from one file to another. When i try to drag and drop pages from one file to another, coreldraw x4 crashes.
Is there a way to select all the object over several pages then run a artist media? I am working on Valentine day and have single line letters over 26 pages. I select a letter then apply an spray of hearts I made to the each letters. I a lot of these do and thought it was worth asking if there was a way to select all object curves. There is nothing on the file but object curves of abc letters.
I have to convert some documents form cdr to Al but ran into a problem. The cdr documents are better then 2 pages long/ big when I try to convert them into AI it tells me that it dose not support more then one page. is there a way to convert all my pages other then one page at a time?
