I am using autocad 2011 and i am trying to turn an object into a revision cloud like i used to.
When i open the revision cloud, the only options it now shows are "exit/options" (option only opens a box that allows you to change the arc style and cord length). It does not have "arch length, object or style".
(i am using AutoCad Mechanical but i changed all the toolbars to AutoCad standard)I cant make a neat revision cloud without those original options.
I am trying to add a revision cloud with an attached tag. I clicking on Annotate/Markup/Revision Cloud on the ribbon, but there is no such option there that I can find.
Im running Inventor 2012 on a 64 bit windows 7 machine.
Having just newly discovered that Inventor has a Revision Cloud command, I read through the forums and found out that I had to install the two SKD .msi files named DeveloperTools & UserTools, which I have done. I also read that I have to execute the RegisterGeneralTools.exe which I have also done. I've rebooted and restarted Inventor numerous times thinking that my Add-Ins tab will show up with my newly acquired Revision Cloud command in Drawing Tools but to no avail.
Im coming from Inventor 2009 so I'm not sure if the Add-Ins tab is now supposed to be the Add-In Manger but from what I seen I should have a tab just right of "Get Started" and should include Drawing Tools and General Tools.
I work on AutoCad 2012. I am trying to find the revision cloud & tag tool. I seem to only be able to place a revision cloud without a tag on the drawing. I don't see a tag option and searching for the option on the help menu has resulted in zero hits. Does AutoCad 2012 not offer this feature or am I looking in the wrong location?
Starting a drawing which now needs a revision. Â Can't for the life of me find a revision cloud tool to mark up a change. This is the feature in SWÂ [URL].......
Yes, I am new to Revit, and I can add a revision cloud and see the line added to the rev block but I'm trying to add  revision and have it show up on the rev block without adding a rev cloud.  I did it once and can't figure out how to do it again.  On the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialog box I check on the Issued box and on show I've selected Cloud and Tag, Tag, and None.
Is it possible, short of doing some programming through the Revit API, to change the shape of the arcs created with the Revit "Revision Cloud" tool? For example, with AutoCAD you can enter the size of the arcs that you want to use when you use the revision cloud command. Is there anything similar in Revit?
I have done some searching and am surprised at how little mention there is about both the strange look of the clouds produced by the Revit tool and their lack of flexibility. Everyone focuses mainly on being able to associate clouds with deltas and a Revision Schedule, which I admit is important also.
Im having to cloud Revisions to my drawings. Heres what my Revision Schedule needs to be like  Revision 2        (Tag # 4) Revision 1        (Tag # 2) Bid Issue          (No Tag)  Is there any way to change the Tag number? Because right now this is what im getting  Revision 2        (Tag # 2) Revision 1        (Tag # 1) Bid Issue          (No Tag)
I dont mind drawings being automatically saved to the cloud, but by default I want to open drawings from the local folders. Is there a way to turn off the prompt asking whether to open a file from the cloud or locally?
I am trying to create some new templates for 2013 and I'm trying to figure a way to get the model revision number to populate into the drawing's iproperty revision number so that they will match upon save. I'm trying to do this by creating an ilogic rule but I don't see a system property in the idw that will allow me to access the 3D model iprops. I am going to Event Trigger the rule to run Before Save. Is this possible?
On the drawing border I have created a formatted text box that is built as:
Type: Properties - Model Property: Revision Number
It simply pulls the data from the models revision number and populates the text box. I need this same thing to happen but rather than populate into a text box I need it to populate into the drawings revision number iprop.Â
I am trying to accomplish something but i am not sure of the correct terms to use to describe it. I would like to "trim" or "cut" around an object in an image and have a "cloud" or "blur" around the edge. I have included a link below with an example of what i am trying to accomplish from an ebay listing. If this is possible with gimp, if not with what other program?
how to match up certain points. I have imported 2 point clouds and have tried to use the 'align' tool to specify three points from the source object (cloud) and three points from the destination object (cloud). When doing this, it does not properly align them. The point cloud makes it difficult to select the exact point I would like to align, since there may not be a point at that exact location, but close to it. Does AutoCAD require the points in alignment to match up perfectly or is it capable of doing a best fit?
Also, is AutoCAD capable of creating a solid 3D piece from the point cloud? I would like to take all of my points and make a smooth object.
I got a PDF today that (besides being just a complete and terrible mess) has a basic vector shape in a clipping mask that won't let me turn off the overprinting. Â When I select the whole object with clipping mask, the Overprint Fill box (in the attributes panel) has a hypen. When I click into the clipping mask or go to Object > Clipping Mask > Edit Contents and I select just the vector shape, the Overprint Fill box has a check in it, and I uncheck it. Then when I exit out and reselect the whole object I get the hypen again. I can also uncheck the hypen and the box is blank, but then when I deselect and select it again I get that evil hypen again. Â way to turn off overprinting for a single object in Acrobat Pro my mind will figuratively explode.
on a picture. i can turn a blue object into yellow, green or any other color. and vice versa. To do that i know 5 different ways, or combination of those methods. 1- Hue/Saturation2- Color Balance3- Selective Color4- Replece Color (Similar to Hue/Saturation) 5- select the area, create a new layer, paint the selected area on new layer, blend the new layer with "linear burn". but when it comes to black, i can't change the black to another color with any of the ways above. So i was wondering if it is possible to turn a black object into white without killing the texture. Or cleaning the object from colors, making it colorless.best way i know so far is playing with "exposure" settings. but this time the objcet on the image is becoming blure and loosing its texture. Here is the object i m trying to make white (or colorless). Do you know any way to do it? i need to make that shoe as white/colorless as this one below.

In the object manager docker, is there some way to turn off the information that appears when you hover the cursor over an item? I found that turning off tooltips does not affect it.
I'm trying to rotate a small object in Paint. When I use the rotate toolbar to enter the angle I need, the object rotates just like I want. Then I hit the apply button and some pretty heavy handed anti-aliasing is applied and the object is essentially destroyed. I've been using Paint for quite a long time so I figured there must be an option to turn this off. I can't find one. I even added the anti-aliasing button to the rotate toolbar and turned it off but that doesn't make any difference.
Essentially, what I want when I rotate an object is the chunky, pixelated preview, not the final anti-aliased so much you can't tell what it even is anymore final product.
At this point, I'm going to have to resort to rotating the object and taking a screenshot of the preview and using that instead of the mess that the final result is.
I dont want it. Im not interested. But hey we are changing all your icons to cloud. Screw you I have to login and am scard these fools will use my credit card# Â Adobe is really good at graphics I dont trust them as far as I can throw them with my credit information. Why are you changing my desktop icons without my permission. Yea do whatever you want to. Down here in the south we have a little something called uninstall.
20110421veiwports turning off.jpg AutoCAD isnt being nice to me lately another hassle i have is the viewports randomly turn off ( they dont show anything) and when i turn those ones on, others turn off.
i dont know how to change the topic to "solved" however a collegue told me to enter MAXACTVP at the command line the value was 16, i was told to set it to 64 ( i had 21 viewports ) and they all came on.
I have three rules in our stamp to the revision date and revision number to fill in.
Along our project number should include the revision letter stand out with the latest date.
Now I would like to see if the date entered by the revision number and revision letter that the letter therefore become filled in along the project number.
If the next date is fill in with the letter, that letter must be completed along the project number The dates and letters are "Prompted Entry" or do i need other properties.
Can this be done with iLogic?
Youre drawings are as good as the symbols that compleet them.....
why, when setting up a field on a drawing,... you cannot choose the Revision? It should show up as a Document Field category... but it is not available to choose? How are you supposed to link a revision field in your title block, to the revision set as a file property by Vault? URL.....
Is there a workaround to delete the last revision row with the edit icon (I've put in by mistake and would like to remove)According to Autodesk HELP:
"Note:The active row is always the most recently added row to the revision table. It is denoted by an edit icon and cannot be deleted."
