one of the pc at my work place seemed to be working funny, compared to the other pc.
For example, the command CO won't work, but instead i have to type CC to copy. The command MA doesn't work at all, and i don't know how to match properties.
Along the way, there are other commands that I encounter before. Basically, it jus feels funny for this PC.
Is there any way to restore every single setting without re-installing the autocad?
We recently upgraded to AutoCad 2014 and the acad.pgp file does not seem to load correctly on one of 3 stations.The other 2 seem to be working just fine.
I located the file it is referencing with the (findfile "ACAD.PGP") command, to be sure I am looking at the correct one.
What happens is when I type PS in the command line it should initiate the Paperspace command. It clearly states in the .pgp file " PS, *PSPACE ". However what shows in the command line is "Pick line"! To be sure it is loaded I ran the REINIT command.
I need to change the shortcut commands but cannot find the file or how to do it in AutoCAD LT 2012. I had to reinstall due to a virus in my computer and I cannot remember how to do this, it has been too long.

'Ctrl + 1' is copy so if i have something selected it will go directly in to the copy command and allow me to pick a point.
but now its doing this.

witch makes me think its hitting enter twice that deselects what i had selected.
the macro in cui is as follows

is their some command set so it will stop doing that double enter? it just started doing it today. I have closed out autocad, restarted, made sure a key isn't stuck on my keyboard.
I'm able to add custom panels/buttons into the Ribbons, by cloning the existing ribbon (from acade.cuix) into my partial cuix. However.. I'm not able to add more commands to the shortcut menus, using the same technique.
Is it possible to add custom commands to existing shortcut menus using a partial cuix?
Toolbox shortcut commands no longer work in PS CS2. Any command that I try to execute in PS generates a "program error" message, including trying to exit the program. Now I have to go into Task Manager and "kill" it in there to get out of it. Images and changes will not save.
I have deleted the PS preferences and rebooted. I un-installed and re-installed PS. Same problem. Only happens in PS, not InDesign.
I can click directly on the toolbox to activate a certain tool, but this is so painfully slow.
Dell 8400 3 ghz box, Window XP latest version, all updates.
Tons of memory and hard drive space.
I've just installed ACA 2010 on my laptop on Windows XP64 bit
When I select a command such as the wall or door command. The command starts then exits out before I can draw anything.
When I type PL for polyline and then END or MID or PER they don't work, but they do for lines? Any way to change this? When I manually type in any of these snap commands my OSNAP settings turn off.

just installed CS on to my new computer, and all the key commands i use no longer work. For instance holding down the space bar to get the hand tool isn't working, holding down the shift key when i want to proportionally transform something doesn't work, holding down the apple/command key and the space bar to get the magnifying glass tool doesn't work, and so on...
I have seen under the Edit menu the keyboard shortcuts option, but i never set these short cuts up myself, they were just defaults in photoshop. When i was using CS on my old computer, the key commands i spoke of above worked fine....so what has changed? why don't they work anymore?
I have a new computer and the F1 thru F12 shortcut keys for ortho, snap, etc. do not work. Rather these ring up computer functions like speaker volumnet and screen brightness. I would like to find the button that returns the shortcut keys to ACAD mode.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI use PaintShop Pro v. 11.20 at work. I was using it as normal one day, and it crashed. This is nothing new, the crash is because I tend to have a lot of programs open at the same time and I had not rebooted my computer soon enough to clear the RAM. The problem occurred when I reopened the paint shop after rebooting, and all commands involving the control key (copy/paste, etc.) as well as the delete key do nothing. Very occasionally, it will allow one of these commands to work, but this is now very rare. If I have an object selected, the highlighting will blink briefly as it does when you try to copy it, but otherwise does nothing. I can still use these commands from the drop-down menus. I think this is probably just some random bug that happened when it crashed for whatever reason. If I can avoid reinstalling that would be preferable, as I would have to have the disks mailed to me by the head office. I looked to see if there was some setting that would put things back to normal but could find nothing. I reset defaults, no change.

It says specify second point... Not sure what this means. For example I want to offset a line 15'-8". It won't let me do that. If i offset a line at 146" it lets me do it.

Mine ~ key is positioned to the right on my keyboard just beside the return buttom. Could it be that im using the wrong key here or.... thanks for any surgestion. I figured out a work around if the surface is flat, but I haven't figured out a work around for a curved surface.
How do I create work axis where work plane intersects curved surface?
Or put another way: How do I project intersection of work plane and curved surface onto the work plane in a 2D sketch?
I need to be able to draw a 2D sketch on the work plane, but get a perfectly matching projected line onto the work plane, from the curved surface, at the intersection of the curved surface and the work plane.

~Dimension command switches to my Dimension layer
~Leader command switches to my Text layer
I don't have my Line command set to any layer. I switch layers before drawing a line. I like drawing lines on different layers as needed. I don't like the default to be the Object layer.
Is it possible to have a pop menu open when I select a command to choose a layer? I would like to set a second line command with that feature.
The issue I am having is I can't see some of my commands. For example, if i paste from the clip I cannot see whatever it is I pasted until I say where I want it.
