We are working in AutoCAD 2010 and the keyboard shortcut commands are not working for one of our users. we are having difficulty getting it back online for her. we tried a menu load for the acad.pgp file and it isn't working .

'Ctrl + 1' is copy so if i have something selected it will go directly in to the copy command and allow me to pick a point.
but now its doing this.

witch makes me think its hitting enter twice that deselects what i had selected.
the macro in cui is as follows

is their some command set so it will stop doing that double enter? it just started doing it today. I have closed out autocad, restarted, made sure a key isn't stuck on my keyboard.
Just recently I have really started to develop LISP routines and I am curious if it is possible to integrate them with a Keyboard call-out.

I opened the CUI right clicked to create new temporary shortcut, put the command into the line and selected shift and Q. There some gobbledy **** message about it being also assigned to another command but that it will prioritise the one at the bottom of the tree, and my new shortcut IS at the bottom of the tree so far as I understand the phrase.
Bur when I try to use it, the shift key is not recognised. I press shift and q but all that comes up in the command line is q.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI want Ctrl+Shift+S to do SAVE AS. I set it as such in the keyboard shortcuts, but when I do that key combo, all I get is this: The mouse pointer changes to this. I can move it around and draw a box (in the background of PS, outside any open images). I want it to go away and do SAVE AS instead.

Now, in this new version (done after a clean format, reinstall of my XP OS) the shortcut no longer works. I check and it still has ALT+CTRL+I listed next to Image Size in the drop down menu as the proper keys, but it does not work.

ALT+CTRL+C seems to work fine for selecting the canvas, as does all my other other shortcuts (IE: CTRL+N for new canvas, CTRL+A to select, etc).
It seems the ALT+CTRL+I is the only thing giving me an issue.
Running the latest Photoshop CS6 on Mac and the Step Backward keyboard shorcut does not work at all. Command-Z works fine; Command-Option-Z does nothing. I don't believe I'm running any custom keyboard apps that would interfere, and when I check Photoshop's Keyboard Shortcuts it's right there (correctly set as the default).

If I go manually to Image>adjustments>Auto Contrast it works.
I'm on CS, XP, Dell.
I have photoshop CS installed on a G5. Photoshop was working fine, but now some of the default keyboard shortcuts are missing. The one I miss the most is (command, option ~) which should load a luminosity selection. But for some reason no longer works. I've tried reinstalling photoshop. I've tried reloading the keyboard shortcut defaults again. Maybe there is something wrong with my default shortcuts file? but I haven't been able to locate a source where I can download another. In any case i would have thought that the reinstalling the CS creative suite would have resolved the issue if the file was bad.
How do I check my keyboard driver? where is it? wher do i get another?
so naturally our keyboard layouts are Danish.But there's a fantastic shortcut in Illustrator, that only works with the English layout. Basically - make a square and place a pattern in it. If you rotate the box using 'R' you rotate the entire box and the pattern. But if you hold the 'button next to 1' (tilde in some parts of the world, console in other parts) and then press 'R' it will only rotate the pattern and not the box.
However, that only works with the English layout.. what is the name of that function, so I can set up the shortcut manually or change the keys needed for the shortcut?
What I am wanting to do is select objects or object mouse and use a keyboard shorcut to change those objects to a layer that is frozen. The layer is called "AS-BUIILT DELETED"
View 6 Replies View RelatedIn Illustrator CS6 I established a keyboard shortcut of Alt+Shift+Ctrl+= to the command Type-->Change Case-->UPPERCASE (and Alt+Shift+Ctrl+- to Type-->Change Case-->Title Case). In Illustrator CC, these two keyboard shortcuts are not working. They are displaying in the Type menu correctly, and the menu commands themselves work correctly, but the shortcuts do not work.

It did not seem to migrate things very well? My PGP did not follow over and in addition to a few other settings.
I use the esc (escape) key to end a string of comands or if I want to go another direction. In AutoCAD 2012 when I hit the esc key on my keyboard it does NOTHING?

When i type O for offset Command its not working its shows following error, i have attached the screen sort.
then i write full command "Offset" its working, like this many shortcut command are not working (Array, Reactangle, Fillet etc.)
one of the pc at my work place seemed to be working funny, compared to the other pc.
For example, the command CO won't work, but instead i have to type CC to copy. The command MA doesn't work at all, and i don't know how to match properties.
Along the way, there are other commands that I encounter before. Basically, it jus feels funny for this PC.
Is there any way to restore every single setting without re-installing the autocad?
We recently upgraded to AutoCad 2014 and the acad.pgp file does not seem to load correctly on one of 3 stations.The other 2 seem to be working just fine.
I located the file it is referencing with the (findfile "ACAD.PGP") command, to be sure I am looking at the correct one.
What happens is when I type PS in the command line it should initiate the Paperspace command. It clearly states in the .pgp file " PS, *PSPACE ". However what shows in the command line is "Pick line"! To be sure it is loaded I ran the REINIT command.
I'm having trouble with the renaming of X-refs.i have made a script file that re-paths required x-refs to a new project, but this leaves the x-ref name as the old x-ref. Any keyboard commands to change the name? or to set the name to file name?

I've gotten very use to these commands in previous versions. Once I setup my commands, I am able to use them for the session.

Capture the following keyboard commands:
CTRL + A
EDIT > TRANSFORM > FLIP HORIZONTAL
CTRL + D
And save it as an Action called am_Flip_Horizontal.atn. Then how would I go about loading that action automatically each time PS boots and assigning a keyboard shortcut to it (say, CTRL + /) ?
I notice that some Actions are black, some are red. Some have a checkmarks and others have toggle icons. I think I have the concept down, but just not the how-to knowledge.
I have version 2.3 using it on a Mac. I am trying to learn some keyboard commands to do my most common tasks. I cannot figure out how to "delete from disk" via the keyboard. When I hit delete, I get the window that has "remove" as the default. I can go to "delete from disk" with the mouse but I am trying to cut down on my mouse use to save my wrists.
