In the atatched file, I am trying to qselect all objects with color 10(red).
Details are as follows: Applyto: Entire drawing, Object type: Multiple, Properties: Color, Operator: Equals, Value:Color10 and Include in new selection set.
It doesn't select anything (0 items selected). What is wrong with procedure?
I used the command qselect to select all mtext in model space. I then went to the properties menue and changed all mtext to 1" height.
I've got five pages, each with a different viewport. Each viewport is the same scale as the previous one however the text size is not.
Mtext was created under the same style.
I'm having a problem with 2014 version. Property palette doesn't show the property of any object. It shows blank and same thing with quick select as well.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOne of our standard practices is to copy/ paste schedules from EXCEL into CAD. The OLE objects paste with the text color set to whatever was set up in EXCEL. But for one user , his text always changes to blue in the copy paste process. We cannot figure out how to change it to match everyone elses. Is this a CAD setting or EXCEL setting.

Sometimes it's useful to be able to use colors other than Green and Black for sketch objects.

In my photo, the object is broken up but I can't seem to figure out how to group the different pieces together.. 1. create a cmyk document with color profile 'Euroscale coated v2' and fill the document with the color 86, 32, 14, 0
2. change the color profile to 'Euroscale Coated v2' -> the values change to 73, 29, 16, 0, no color change on the monitor
3. create a smart object -> the values stay the same, no color change on the monitor
4. create a second document like in step 1
5. create a smart object -> the values stay the same, no color change on the monitor
6. now change the color profile to 'Euroscale Coated v2' -> the values stay the same, this time we have a color change on the monitor.

I am practising filling objects with color. I have attached a file of a design drawn freehand, completely as a random shape. Why I am unable to fill the top left part of the design (above the dark blue) with any color?
So far as I can tell, there are no gaps. Also I have used arrange/join curves to close any gaps. Whatever I try, I cannot get any color in to that area of the design.
1. Artistic Media tool must draw in color! That's why we call it "Artistic" - first choose color, and then draw. It is natural.
2. After the object was created and COLORED by me, everything was fine, I try to reduce the size of the work and realize that I was forgot to mark "Scale stroke with object" option and there comes two problems:
2.1. I can't select multiple AMT-objects and change this COMMON option for them.
2.2. When I change this option FOR EVERY SINGLE OBJECT I previously made, it turns strokes back to black color!
And now comes the third and fourth problems:
3. Now I must SELECT OBJECTS ONE-BY-ONE AGAIN to re-color them!
4. And I have to remember every color for every stroke?!
Here's my issue... lets say I have 600 different objects in illustrator (just little circles with a fill color, no stroke) and 6 different colors that these circles should be. That means, I'd like about a 100 to be one color, 100 another color, etc... Is there anyway to select all 600 and just tell Illustrator that I have these 6 colors and I want to apply them to the selected objects randomly?

Last moment, the client like the reverse the colors from (current) Black on white, to all White on dark gray background.
Problem is, I can't seem to find easy way to just change the colors, without selecting one by one, every single object. When I selest all and choose white, it start filling paths with solid fill... Editing it wastes allot of my time and I have many pages to do.
Is there any way to simple change color of everything at once, just from black to white ? Or do I have to go object by object manually ?
I would like to take a photo of a car and change the color of the paint. I would also like to cut and paste (resize) new wheels. Is Photoshop Elements 11 capable?

I have a prodject that i'm working on and i need to edit several images at once (preferabley) so that they are the same color. They are wooden cupboards and i need all the wood looking the same colour. In light room you can edit a group of images at the same time hence the colours are the same . I have tried duplicating layers and it just replaces the whole image, it seems to work using levels layers but not the other layers ... I have 30 more images to do and would ideally not like to adjust all the images manually ? I dont mind doing minor tweaks. There's a rectangle box on a web page I'd like to measure and colour-pick so I can replicate it in either Photo Paint or CD to use on my own web page. If I'm able to do from using CD's tools external to the program, or do I need to download a third party program to do it?

I have attached some pictures, you can notice the flash spots due to reflection on silver color. What's the best way to remove these spots and improve the photo quality. (I understand the best way is to shoot the photos in a specific environment to disallow this effect, but I am asking if there is away to edit it using Lightroom and remove the flash effect).

The Recolor Artwork dialog does not replace the color of objects filled or stroked with pure black, either CMYK or RGB. (Yes, with the Recolor Art checkbox selected.) The dialog will replace any other color, but not black. Not even a manually created rich black. Manually selecting another color from the Color or Swatches panel does change the object's fill or stroke.
This happens with both CS6 and CS5 under Windows 7 x64. I reported it as a bug on the prerelease site. Also not sure if bug reports are still being read for the released version.
It makes very serios color shift. how can I prevent this.

As a part of the learning I have been building a 3D model of the shed my dad is building. But I ran into a problem on the roof and cant seem to figure out how to click everything into place.
My problem: I need to keep the size and shape of all objects while also connecting the objects to the main structure. I need to keep A and B connected to the main structure and adjust the angles so that both meet at C. But if I move one then another moves out of place. (In the pic B is out of place) All I want to do is hold the beams at A and B in their spot while adjusting the rotation on both beams to meet at C all at the same time. I have tried to fine adjust the rotation on the beams individually but still cant get them together. I cant seem to get the constraints feature to work, because I guess it only works in 2D. I have tried to use the align tool but it just throws everything haywire.
