we are using acad 2006 to create drawings and saving them in dxf on 3.5 inch disc we then import the drawing into winner90 software on our router m/c but get the same response each time on loading - too many lines in iso file-

View 9 Replies View RelatedSomeone would like a small 1 inch by 1 inch logo for invoices at 600 DPI. However I understand that illustrator doesnt work in DPI or PPI since it's vector. Would I have to transfer the small image over to photoshop. I did try and save a 1 inch by 1 inch logo at 600 PPI, however when I saved the image it was no longer 1 inch by 1 inch. It had increased significantly in size regardless of what file format I saved the image as.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIf I try to draw a square box in any size, illustator does not make it square.
For example, if I select the Rectangle Tool, click in the art space and set the rectangle to one inch by one inch, I get a box that is 1.0003 by 1.0003
Here is a screen shot of what I am getting.
This is also happening to any rectangle and circle.
Even if I hold down shift to keep the preportions lock, it still happens.
I have check and nothing is snapping or set to snap.
This is a major issue for me as I use illustator for creating dielines and those dielines need to be very accurate.
Can I save multiple drawings to dxf in same time? I`m so tired to click "save copy as" with every drawigs. Autosave with flat pattern is not an option because orientation of the piece is so bad so many time of the cases

I have VideoStudio Pro X2. Purchase late last year to create a 50th wedding anniversary video for my parents. Worked great, able to mix video, add music, able to copy to DVDs, etc.
I haven't opened it for a while, until today. I tried to make another copy of the video on a DVD tonight, the window pops up, it says the video is loading, but the video never comes up. When I try to click on the popup (anywhere), it says the program stopped working and MS will shut it down (gives me the option to shutdown or continue).
I downloaded SP1 as well. Still same issue.
The video will play fine in the edit mode. I tried to copy another video compilation that I made a year ago (same timeframe) and it worked fine.
I currently have the trial version of Video Studio Pro X4. I would like to purchase it if I can complete a project and burn to DVD. I was able to create and edit a video of a recent concert at our church that looks great. I went through the steps of Create Disc and burn to DVD of the 2 Hour video (It took over 12 Hours to burn). The DVD seems to play on the computer with no problem, but when I try to play it on a DVD player attached to the TV, it says there is no disc, the player does not recognize the DVD. I used a Memorex DVD+R DL 8x 8.5GB 240 Min. (double layer). I have promised many people I would provide them a DVD of the concert. What do I need to do to produce a DVD that will play on a DVD player through the TV?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a short project to burn to DVD. I have it in AVCHD format as well as downconverted for standard DVD. This is my normal procedure, so that I can burn a high def disc for myself, and a standard disc for friends and family. I have done this many times before, but this time, whether AVCHD or standard DVD, I get "Unspecified error" when I hit the burn button. I am observing best practice - there is nothing in the timeline, and the settings (the little gear icon) match the video clip. This piece is only about 8 mins long - much shorter than my normal pieces, but I can't see that would make a difference.
I considered burning them in Roxio or Power2Go, but both programs insist on including Menus, which I definitely don't want.
I tried to create an ISO image (I don't have a blu-ray drive) and it turns out it isn't possible (the "create image" option is diabled on blu-ray disks).I was able to create the folders.

I have tried to burn a disc with .mpg .mpg 2 .mp4 and .wmv formats and ALL have failed. I have created chapters in V Studio and they are not seen once i click on create disc and I have gone thru the grief of recreating the chapters
All of this has failed, at the end - 99% of burning. With the .wmv file, burning failed after 10 seconds. I have been able to sucessfully burn a disc using Windows burning software, so I know my drive is working fine, but really want to do this professionally (windows software created its own chapters and they are NOT where I want them and don't seem to be editable.

I have a Sony HD Handycam that makes great HD movies. I do not make DVD's but rather put all my videos on a Western Digital media player which offers a very convenient way to both store & view them. After I select "share/create disc" & follow the menu creation instructions the final screen does not allow me to select the option to create an iso file. I can see the title of the file & the iso extension on the line but it is grayed out. I am running windows 7, 64 bit, 5GB ram.
View 12 Replies View RelatedWhen I am working on several drawngs at the same time, I use the Publish command to plot them as a group. However to save the settings as a DSD file for future use, every open file needs to be saved. Why is this? Is there a way to disable that requirement?
There is no reason I can think of besides "by design" for this. The DSD file is only a list of drawings and their plot settings and is not dpendent in any way I can think of, to whether or not one its drawings is open and not saved.
I am not used to work with HDV therefore my question: did somebody ever create an hybrid DVD disc straight from a 1440x1080 (HDV) file (possible in VS), or is the usual(better?) way to first rescale to 1920x1080. Is this disc then playable on a stand-alone BD player, which normally can play the 1920x1080 versions.

I have attempted to create the title block with Document fields from the drawing properties custom properties tab, and creating the same fields with information from the Sheet / Sheet Set fields. Both title blocks used attributes inside the block to house the fields, and both were .dwt files.
Is there a way to take the properties from the .dwt drawing into a newly created drawing, or is there a way to link custom sheet set properties with a newly created sheet set? The main goal is to not have the user manually input multiple custom fields either in the drawing properties or the sheet set manager of the new drawing.

I almost create “text” in every part drawing in different view. I have to create a sketch first, than create a text and dimension the text so I can lock the text in position, otherwise when you move the view and the text will stay in different location.
I had been used “Solid works” for long times. When I need to create a text, just click that view and create a text and the text will stay with that view, whatever you move that view and the text move together.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm attempting to create a sheet set from existing drawings, but when I point the "New Sheet Set Wizard" to the folder containing my 8 or so drawings (with 24 or so associated layouts), only 2 drawings appear with 6 associated layouts for import. The other layouts don't even show up as being part of another sheet set. How do I get the New Sheet Set Wizard to "see" the layouts?

All of them are having bad results. From all this 3 commands the closer to my needs is the flatshot. But I am working with many layers which have different colors, so when I will generate the 2D views I need to see the same color as the layers have (each color is for a particular medium).
I am using this command without showing the obscured lines.When I am generating the isometric views with the flatshot I am seeing strange objects (UFO), is far away from the original model, you can see in the attachment.
It is possible to generate somehow 2D views (front views&isometric views) seeing the color which every element has, and it is possible to correct somehow those ugly isometric views ( the guys from autocad should do something with this, because when I am generating a isometric view the 2d drawing that I received is completely different from the 3D model !).
I want to make the drawings using the 2D views, because the 3D Models are very big (50-60MB) and it is very hard to work with them!
Is it possible to have the production tool for cross sections create separate sheet drawings, rather than creating multiple sheet layouts in one drawing?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a csv file that has the drawing names and their layout names listed in columns A and B. Before I begin a project, I have to create the Sheet List (in Excel) and the csv file. The csv file is needed because I have a lisp routine that reads the csv and updates all my Title Block attributes in all my drawings. (VERY sweet program) What I'm wanting to do, is create new layouts (using my dwt) based on the information in the csv file. So, when I start a new project all I need to do is create the base drawing files first. Then, in my csv file I've got those drawing names listed in Column A and their corresponding sheet titles (Layout names) in Column B. I run the lisp and it reads the csv and creates layouts in all those base drawings and naming the layouts with the sheet titles from column B.

I'm needing a way to automate creating hundreds of layouts at once. To open .cal drawings, I've alway hit the "insert" tab and selected insert raster image from the dropdown menu.
Today, the "insert" tab doesn't create a dropdown menu. It opens a whole "insert" toolbar without any reference to raster images.
How do I open my .cal files and why did autoCAD change itself?
Is there a way to create realtime updated Digital Copies of drawings? Our File Structure has our base drawings in one folder and our Plot Drawings in another folder.

At the moment I have the files in folder (Folder name is length) I wish to create a dynamic block per length.
Is there and easy way to compile this without having to copy and paste from the other files?
