AutoCad :: Missing Command Line Box At The Bottom
Dec 4, 2012I've just discovered my Command Line Box at the bottom of the screen is missing in action...not sure what I did to loose it. Any COMMAND to get it back?

AutoCAD 2010 :: Missing Command Line And Tab Sheets For Paperspace
Aug 28, 2012 When drafting either in model space or paperspace, eventually either the command line disappears completely "OR" the command line area increases and prevents me from seeing the tab sheets for accessing paperspace "OR" the mouse arrow gets stuck outside of the drawing area. This is the most non-productive program here after all these years (the worst version ever)
I either have to do one of the following, in order, hopefully to achieve being able to continue to draft;
1. double click the 2D Wireframe in the upper LH corner of the drawing plane.
2. envoke "Task Manager" but then cancel.
3. turn off the Autocad program and start over.

Jan 30, 2012 I am a PC user of Autocad LT making the transfer to Mac.Just purchased AutoCad LT for Mac 2012.While printing a file from layout in landscape, the bottom edge is missing.
If I print a file in Portrait It will center and fit to page perfectly.(Within The Dashed Lines)The layout page shows the print inside the dashed lines of the printing area as it should.
I have tried moving the layout above the dashed line, then the top that shows outside the lines won't print.I have tried every hing I can think of, without success.
AutoCAD 2013 :: Command Line Appears Again After Plot Command?
May 15, 2012I press CTRL+9 to make the Command Line disappear while drawing. When I plot (or when doing a plot preview) , the Command Line appears again by itself. So I always have to turn the Command Line off manually after each plot
The bug still happens;
- if Dynamic Input is turned off or on
- if I plot to a real device or in PDF
- if the Cammand Line Palette i docked or floating.
This is not an issue in AutoCAD 2012 so I guess it has to do with the new way they programmed the revamped Command Line palette in 2013.

if you care to not click-through, the problem is that certain commands (not all of them) simply do not disply in the command line. so the MOVE command for example looks like this:
NORMAL:
Command: _move
Select objects:
NOW:
Command:
Select objects:
same with QSAVE and who knows how many others.

Oct 31, 2012We export our renders to be used in a GUI and for some reason the bottom of our renders since last week (to be fair we only have one user who exports - so only one user has this problem) have a solid black line on the bottom. Now this wouldn't be a horrible problem except we have to set a transparency color in our control software and since the background is not uniform it is VERY obvious when in our final software package. We also have to maintain a constant resolution or the control systems (what we use the renders in) will distort and be way off.

This happens in both 2013 and 2012. Perhaps there are some lightning/render settings I can try changing on this users machine?

Mar 26, 2012I'm trying to create a feature line to use as a breaklline for the bottom of a ditch. I click on the first contour, elev.678, accept the elevation, click the next contour, select T for transition, then accept the elevation, 677. I would like to end up with a feature line having a first node elev. 678, end node elev. 677, slope -4% (contours are 25' apart). Instead, The first node is 678, slopes @ -1.33% to an inserted node, elev. 677.1, then slopes at -21.88% to end node elev. 677. What am I doing wrong? I don't see a lot of options here when creating (drawing) a feature line. Should I be using something else to accomplish this task?

Before, if I wanted to set the leading, I would highlight the line I want to affect and set it...that selected sentence would be the one to shift up or down. Now, the leading affects the sentence BELOW the sentence I highlighted.

None of these items appear, and I have searched far and wide, but can't find out where to enable them. The only thing that appears on that line is "Background (2.7 MB)".

I arranged them to read bottom to top, as it goes up stationing, as we do with cross section sheets, but have been told by an outside reviewer that the sheets are confusing and should read top down.

Imagine of the text was something squishy, and I pushed it down onto the top of an arc. I've only been working with Adobe CC for about a week now. I've seen lots of examples of having the text follow a curved path, but they all curve the entire thing, whereas I only want the bottom of the text to curve.

Oct 5, 2011After selecting the first point after given the DIST command the "dragline" between the first point and the cursor is black.
So with black background it is not visible.
But.... in an other drawing it is white....

Mar 13, 2012How do I control which colors appear in the color line that scroll across the bottom of the window. The only colors that currently appear are shades of reds/purples and yellows/greens. If I scroll across from left to right the same colors just keep repeating themselves. There are no shades of gray or blue. Can I somehow preset the colors that appear or do I have no control over what colors scroll across the bottom.

Sep 13, 2011I like the new feature in 2012 where I can type a couple of letters at the Command Prompt and get several commands to pick from but I would like to have the command alias back (for me) such as typing E and the Erase command would be there. I went to Express Tools and loaded the acad.pgp file; typed RE-INIT at command prompt but there was not change. Closed the program and restarted and still no change. When I type E, the first command is EATTEDIT. I don't see any of the aliases abbreviations. How do I get these to show up?
