I have attempted to import a jpeg file into my current drawing, using the simple copy paste method, Insert> Raster image and Insert > External References, however the image is not appearing in my drawing or plot at all, though the command bar is doing it's thing.
I am designing a RCC Dam and the shape of the dam is constant and will not change, but the dimensions of this shape are very likely to change depending upon hydraulic analysis.
I have written a program (irrelevant, but I am using MathCad 14) that performs a stability analysis of a RCC Dam (based on elevations from the hydraulic analysis) and then exports the dam dimensions and coordinates to Excel.
I am attempting to then take those coordinates (or dimensions) from Excel to create a 2-D dimensioned drawing of the Dam in AutoCAD.
I have successfully linked the Excel spreadsheet containing these coordinates and dimensions to AutoCad tables in my drawing, but I am having trouble getting AutoCAD to update my drawing as these tables update with different coordinates and dimensions.
I would like to have a drawing that is fully dimensioned (as the shape of the dam will not change), but that will update coordinates and dimensions as I pump out different dam dimensions from my stability analysis.
I'm trying to import a powerpoint 2007 file in X4, but coreldraw says that it doesn't support pptx format. the pdf of the powerpoint created is not upto the mark. my file contains flowcharts. If I have drawing that was drawn in scale 1:1250 in model space but I want to show this in paper space as scale 1:500 the dwg will obviously be tiny. How do I change the scale in model space so that it can be presented in paper space fitting the page at scale 1:500 on size A1? Is there a calculation I need to change the model space dwg?
I am using Autocad 2007 and when I want to select something by outlining it, the area that I outline turns a green color. Is there a way to toggle this feature off so that it does not change color, as in v 2000? Incidentally, what is this feature called?
I kept getting a fatal error when I tried to open the layers manager and I found a discussion board saying I had to do a system restore to fix the problem. Well I did a system restore and now autocad won't even load. I click on the icon and the hour glass goes but then it disappers and nothing happens. I have windows 7 if that makes a difference. I have been using 2007 lt for a few months now and everything worked fine.
I have just recently started experiencing printing problems to my HP Designjet T1100 with 2007 LT. This issue started about a 2 weeks ago. When trying to print out a large scale drawing it terminates about 1/4 of the way through the print. There are no errors on the printer or in the print manager.
To date I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2007 LT; updated the printer firmware; updated the printer software driver.

I have AutoCAD LT 2007 and if I save some file in my office server then it freezes for some time (with bigger file it freezes for longer). There are no problems ploting with plotters on server and neither there are no problems with saving files on my computer. Also with my old computer (worse and slower) it saves to server without problem.
I think my AutoCAD LT 2007 have some conflict with my new windows 7 or with some connection settings.

Sometimes when I import an image (such as a TIFF or pdf) and draw over top of it, when I print the stuff that I've drawn shifts. It will look fine on the screen and in print preview but shifts when printed.
I am drawing an electrical circuit in Auto-cad 2007. I have wires with 2 sizes viz. 0.5 sq.mm & 1 sq.mm. let me know how to impart thicknesses to different lines in Auto-CAD.
We are using Autocad LT 2007. every drawing we plot is incorrect. if we view this plt, we see weird lines, perhaps some partial information from the drawing.
Things we tried: uninstall and reinstall autocad download and install all patches using different drivers replacing the plotter file we are using Win XP
I have an older version of autocad - Autocad LT 2007 - and am trying to attach a dwf I convertedfrom a pdf using design review 2013) in model space. The rectangle of what I imagine is the dwf appears, but there is no content.

Configuring plotter/printer on newly upgraded laptop using Autocad LT 2007 with Win7. The printers that are re-installed are not available under that program.
When I I convert a 2012 dwg into a 2007 format whether using true view or "saving as" 2007 from an open drawing, some of the graphics disappear. How do I convert withour losing these graphics?
I've recently installed AutoCAD LT 2007 on a new computer running Windws 7 64 bit. I've been able to modify/customize everything except my .pgp files.
I've found them under C:/Program Files (x86)/AutoCAD LT 2007/User Data Cache/Support/acadlt. Once I've gone through and made my changes, and attempt to "X" out of the dialog box, I'm prompted to "Save" changes. I choose "Save" and am then told the "acadlt.pgp already exists. Would you like to replace it?". I select "Yes", and am then told "Access Denied"...with none of my changes being saved.
I've learned about an "unsanctioned" workaround...running a "run as XP" patch, but I'm having trouble finding out details/feasability of this solution. Additionally, I'm curious if I go this route, will all my programs now run as if on XP?
My place of work recently changed from Autocad 2007 to Autocad 2013 (big jump.. i know), when we try to plot old drawings the .ctb files that were used in 2007 now says missing beside it. We also only have a few options in regards to .ctb files, whereas in older versions we had hundreds to choose from. Any function to get our old .ctb files back or where to download them?
