How to alter AutoCADs' default plotter so that when I "publish" it will be the plotter that I use here most commonly in the office and I can use the default name given so I do not have to do a "page setup" every time I want to plot more than one page. I would like to select the pages that I am interested in publishing and go.
(also, I am using AutoCAD 2013 LT so LISP's are not a possibility)
Whenever I attempt to print, I get the warning message below referring to a printer that I do not have. Â I presume it's an AutoCAD default setting, but I cannot find any place allowing me to change this default. Â It eventually prints, since as the warning message says, it then substitutes my Mac's default printer, Is there any way to change the AutoCAD setting.

Â I want to do use publisher and make mulitple page pdf's and as I understand it I have to use the built-in plotter to do it. As of right now I have to sperate pages with adobe and then combie them to make a single pdf.

I tried to reset my Main Dictionary... but it seems to be gone. Is a fresh re-install in order?

The other attribute is titled location. I am told if needed, all these quantities can be totaled per drawing. It has a title of "location". Two things: How to replicate this action? And is there a way to show all properties of a field for an attribute?

I have recently installed CS4 and I want to make fireworks my default editor for jpegs. However, I can't. PNGs default to fireworks, but whatever I try I cant get jpegs to. I thought I could live with it but when I press on a jpeg attachment I forget taht it weill open in Ps. Its beginning to drive me nuts! I have tried all the usual tricks regarding choosing a program to open with an extension, as well as uninstalled most of my previous Studio 8 - still have flash 8 installed - fw and dw are gone. Anyone got any more ideas. Is there something I need to do in PS?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded to Illustrator CS6 on a PC. I try to save my graphic in Save for Web and want to alter the image size, but it won't change, it just goes back to the original size. If I change the percentage box, the values change. I have tried linking and unlinking the proportions and nothing. What am I missing?? I don't have time to guess the percentage to get to the exact width I need.Â

I have to close down Indesign and then I can change the font. ... for a while, then it happens again, and I have to close down Adobe again. (there is plenty of space in the textbox, that is not the problem). (I have had this CS4 for many years, and not till this last week have I had this probem).

I think there are some missing part for these. I have the same problem with revit 2013 while try to open a new file cause on there also there are some missing files about family.
I have a new macbook and no printer. Id like to set up my print settings to plot to pdf and choose the correct paper sizes and utilize my line type print settings. I am using auto cad 2013 and see i can create a pdf but it doesn't allow my set my plotter up as a pdf.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo we have a new plotter at work, and I am trying to use it with the publish command. However, because all of our old drawings are saved with our old plotter name, choosing the new plotter isn't an option for all of our old dwgs that havent been set up using the new plotter name. Since our dwgs number in the 1000s, going through each one and renaming them would be impracticable.. but having to individually plot each one is pretty impracticable as well..
So I tried to figure out a workaround, by opening up our new template that has the new plotter configuration on it, hoping I would be able to use it to set all the old dwgs that I have open at the time to the new plot setting.. but the printer name comes up as something different when I try to use it for publish, and if I use it, I get an error and nothing prints. I know the settings used in the new template work, I have been able to print it out. So what I'm asking is, is there anyway I can use the new plotter to publish all of our old drawings?
using a plotter on a network. I moved all my plot styles to a folder on the network where everyone can use them and pointed the path on each station. My only problem now is that each station seems to have the drivers ect.. for the plotter on stand alone stations. What happens if I open a dwg on my station and then close it and go to another station I get warning that drivers are not found,the device can not be found. Do I need to copy the driver and device folders to the network and have the settings on each PC point to that folder.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to alter a games texture images. The images are in PNG format with transparent backgrounds with a size of 128 x 128. I would like to increase this to 256 x 256.
Now, I know that enlarging an image like that is frowned upon because of the lose in quality considering PS has to pretty much guess at the color and placement of those pixels.
I realize that I wont be able to simply press a buttons a BAM I have a game with twice the graphics. I know I'll have to do some altering and touch up but I'm hoping for some input on how to do this. Here, I'll upload an example.
Sometimes when using shop i alter the size of say a brush down to 3 pixels or less, then go back up to say 20 pixels but the on screen pointer does not show the actual size, how come?
