AutoCad :: Drawing Looks Crooked On The Screen?
Apr 25, 2011I installed 2009 on a new computer (Windows 7 using remote XP mode). My drawing looks slightly tilted - the horizontal lines seem to jag. How do I fix this?

AutoCAD 2013 :: Rectangles Drawing Crooked
Jun 18, 2013When I go to draw a box (rectangle or square) and I enter in exact dimensions or coordinates it is 1/16" off. I have checked my ortho (which is drawing straight) and my UCS. What else could it be? I am using Autocad 2014 and only drawing in 2D.

Jun 19, 2011I wear glasses and in most pictures I'm in, my glasses seem to be crooked and not aligned with my eyes correctly. I wanna know if it's possible to straighten them. I've tried selecting them within a new layer and using the Rotate/Zoom tool, but that doesn't work.
Also, if Paint.net isn't capable of doing this, is there another free image editing program that is?
Photoshop :: Using Crop Tool To Straighten Crooked Image
Sep 5, 2013In CS6 I have an image that was scanned in and is crooked. I use the Crop tool to drag the crop marks around the portion of the image I want to keep and I press the Check mark to do the crop.
It crops the image though it does not straighten it out. In previous versions of Photoshop it use to crop and straighten the image by cropping it. How do you now use the Crop tool to straighten an image?
AutoCAD 2010 :: Blue Screen When Opening Drawing
Feb 6, 2013Every few weeks when opening a drawing, my computer restarts (just plain crashes windows and it restarts automatically). This only happens using AutoCAD, no other program has done this as of yet. I have no service packs installed and I haven't seen another post that refers to this problem. When I click on "Check for solution", nothing comes up.

Dec 10, 2013I have used Microstation before and just used Autocad for 1 month.I am field surveyor and use Autocad for plotting stake out or other measurements. When I have to deliver a pdf drawning, there are 2 important things:
- It's have to be clear to see what I have done
- it's important to see the drawing I used to do job.
Making a new drawing with my measurements on it.To make it readable for the end user, I am using fading (transparency) on my referenced drawing. It is looking fine on the screen, but not on the plot.
On the plot all the colours are coming back to the original (before I change the transparency)I try to look on the plot style, but obviously it is not possible to change the settings for the referenced file, just for the all drawing.
What I am looking for is how to plot what I see on the screen (WYSIWYG)?I have looked for a solution on internet (can read english, danish & french) but I didn't find the solution yet!I would like to know how I can solve this problem?
I have to add, that I have several working sites with a lot of drawings, so I am looking for an easy/quick solution.

Jun 3, 2013I'm here with 2013 SP2 64 bit Build 200 and two screens. Left screen is graphics area, Browser is on the left of right screen. Graphics is ATI Fire Pro V7800 with driver 9.3.3.3000.
In video (zipped MP4) you see a cutout of both screens, think of screens changing at the left of the browser.
Now, in many cases, after doing an operation, the browser is jumping back to the middle of my graphics in the left screen.

Dec 30, 2013I just starting working with AutoCad 2014 Lt....and its great. I have a problem with the interface when I have two drawings open at the same time that are xref'd...the screen starts flashing, mouse dragging and the operations are very slow. Example,. if I have the plan open and the elevations open in two separate model space drawings but the plan is xref'd into the elev for reference. Is this an issue for others? What is the fix? This didn't happen in our older ACAD 2005. It is distressing, and I thought it was a server issue, but if I work off my station only, it still happens.

Feb 23, 2013I´m using Inventor Professional 2013 64-bit build 138.No matter what I get 1 pixel wide lines on screen and on printer.
I can control line colour and line type (as in solid, dashed, dotted etc) from Manage - Styles editor - Layers.
When I make changes to the "Visible" layer:
- the line colour changes come through both to screen and printer
- the line type only comes through to the screen, but not to the printer
- the line weight is ignored both by screen and printer
Tools - Application Options - Drawing - Display line weights
seems to have no effect at all.how to get drawing line weights to come through to the printer
AutoCAD Civil 3D :: Screen Flickers When Moving Mouse Around Open Drawing?
Oct 15, 2010The screen flickers when I move the mouse around an open drawing. I just applied the latest patch to Civil 3D 2010. It was not doing this before the patch.
Have Quadro 3500 video card. Updated the driver for that with no change.
Have a Logitech wireless mouse, M310. Up dated the driver for that with effect.
Changed to a wired mouse, no change.
Is there a setting in Autocad where I can set the refresh rate so that it does not refresh while moving the mouse. Or at least slow the automatic refresh rate down?

Trying to use the builtin screen capture tools under Utilities/Screen capture.
There appears to be no way to do a selected capture or partial selection of parts of a window. Instead we have:
Full screen []
active window []
content of active window [x]
So I selected the last one above as shown `Content of Active Window'
But what I actually get is a mini version of the entire Designer pro 7 application Including the menus, borders, and all that guff that no one usually wants in a capture of part of the full screen.
So what does `Content of active window' mean as apposed to `Active window'?
Its really unbelievable that there is no provision like `Region' found in most screen grab tools where you select with the mouse what you want captured.
Maybe I'm just missing how to use this thing, but have included the result of what a `content of active window' does. Its a mini version of the entire application...
Edge Animate CC :: How To Animate Elements From Off Screen To Center Of Screen Without Percentage
Dec 11, 2013I did take a class for it in college so I know the basics, but still learning. I am trying to create a very basic animation where I have 2 assets that begin off the stage on either side. I would like the elements to slide in from the sides and meet in the middle with about a 20px overlap. I tried setting a keyframe for both elements at 0 seconds and setting the X translations to -2000px and 2000px and then setting another keyframe at 5 seconds and changing the X translations to 48% and 52% respectively. This got me the desired effect, but only because I have such a large monitor. If the browser window is resized or the screen is smaller, the effect does not stay the same due to using percentages to center the elements.
is there a way to animate elements to the middle of the screen without percentages(maybe by using margin:0 auto or something)? Or is there a way to accomplish what I am looking for so that the positioning of the elements is the same regardless of browser window size?

Dec 10, 2013Eventually after I copy and paste with the clipboard enough times within one drawing, the ability goes away and I can no longer copy and past one item from one drawing to a separate drawing. I need to use the clipboard function because that is the only way of getting an item from one drawing to another.
I have download a clear clipboard function but it doesn't work. Closing CAD and restarting does not reinstate the function.

I don't want any user input, so I see two problems with the routine at the moment.
Step 2. SAVEAS - I want the drawing to be saved in the same directory as the current drawing, either called "CLIENT_export.dwg" or preferably "Export_{current drawing name}.dwg". If the dwg exists I want it either to overwrite or increment a suffix number.
Step 4. At the moment it askes the user for a selection, I want it to select "ALL"

I get the error message that it has stopped working and it closes. No chance to save work in other drawings open at the time. I often have three or four drawings open so my only workaround is to go through each and save, then close the one I want to close, let the system crash and reopen the other drawings. It does not crash every time but several times a day.
