Photoshop :: Virtual Image And Side-by-Side Views

I do not need the database & image management features of LR. However, I do make a lot of use of virtual images and side-by-side views (candidate selection & before/after views of virtual images with the original).
How do I efficiently do the same thing with Bridge/ACR/Photoshop?

Dec 5, 2011I wish to show a standard top and right side view in my IDW. In my views I have a particular hole I don't (or hole set) that I do not want to show on this (or any at points) view. Is it possible to suppress a single or multiple features?
I have tried expanding the tree in the browser and clicking on the component (right and left) but there is no 'visibility' or 'suppress' avail. in the menu that comes up.

Nov 26, 2008I have a 3d object and I am making my title block. I remember a few semesters ago being taught how to get your front, top, right and iso view from inserting the 3d object into the layout. I can't remember for the life of me how. The layout already has the object in it but it's only the main view.

Aug 18, 2012I have managed to reflect objects but cannot manage to reflect one object across the Artboard to show up on the opposite side. If you see my image below, I would like to reflect the horizontal stripe at the top of the design and make it appear at the bottom of the Artboard so it finishes the design. Almost all of the work I do requires only one quarter of the design to be created, then I could just reflect it across and then reflect it down so this would be a useful piece of knowledge

Nov 23, 2012When I'm changing views (top,left,etc.), most of the time I have to press the shortcut followed by "Z" to show the object I'm working on, this is a pain and doesn't work well when I'm editing something because it will also zoom to whatever is selected, and not the entire object.
So, is there a easy way to change views without having to pan and zoom every time?

Jan 24, 2008I just installed AutoCAD LT 2008 on another computer, it did fine for a couple of days then I received an error. Application failed to start because side by side configuration is incorrect see event log for further details. This is a "fresh" computer with vista, but since it ran okay a few days, I don't think that is a factor. I am not running another version on it, though I did intall this upgrade without first putting my 2006 on it, but if that was the case, why did it run a few days? How do I access the event log?

Apr 3, 2013I am trying to create a second base view (using Layout/Create View/Base from model space). The problem is, I need it to be rotated from the original base view. However, when I rotate the part in model space, ALL of my views change.

Jun 4, 2012I'm creating a VB.Net routine which will run the REVCLOUD command. In my application I prompt the user to select a single polyline using:
EntRslt = acDoc.Editor.GetEntity(EntOpts)
Then later I run the REVCLOUD command using:
acDoc.SendStringToExecute("_revcloud Object Poly No ", False, False, True)
Where Poly is the polyline I selected earlier. Of course, the line above doesn't work since "Poly" is interpreted as a string. But I would like to figure out how to pass my VB.Net selected Polyline into the REVCLOUD command.
How I might do this? The REVCLOUD command will not accept the "Previous" selection set so setting the Implied Selectoin does not work. If my Polyline was the Last object in the database I could use the "Last" option, but it isn't.

Oct 2, 2013Before I upgraded to AutoCAD 2014 (was using 2012) when I used the MOVE command on 3D geometry (while using the Realistic Visualization) I could see one object move into another. Like, moving a cylinder into a box to represent a button, and I would see it slowly sink into the box as I moved it further and further along.
In 2014, the object I am moving will REMAIN ON TOP visually of all other geometry until it is completely inside the other geometry (at which point it disappears completely). It's hard for me to then judge just how much of it is sticking out during the MOVE command. Once I complete the move command, the proper visualization order is then shown.
In other words, if I have a 10 inch cylinder, and I'm trying to move it into a box so only 2 inches sticks out (as a visual guesstimation), currently I would see ALL 10 inches of the cylinder whether part of it is inside the box or not, until I complete the MOVE command.
AutoCad 3D :: PressPull Command - Object Is Raised But Not Filled
Jan 23, 2014I am semi-new to AutoCAD but have a fairly good knowledge of how to work the program now. However, I am continuously having problems with the presspull command. When I try to use the command on an object, the object is raised but not filled. It looks sort of like a fence/outline around the border of the object with a grid pattern.
