For some reason, now when I click on Constrained Orbit or Free Orbit the screen automatically starts to move, its like I have just pressed on Continuous Orbit. Free Orbit works OK if I hold shift and use the scroll button, but I am used to using the icon .
View 2 RepliesIs it possible to record a video clip (avi/wmv/MPG) of free 3d orbit shaded animation what you see on autocad screen (without specifing particular path).
There are animation settings in 3dorbit right shortcut menu, but it doesn't have option for recording a video clip.
This assembly has piping parts that are not filly constrained yet will not move. For example a Tee that has only its centerline mated to a pipe centerline acts like it is fully constrained or grounded. I can demote those parts into a sub-assembly and then they behave normally. I'm wondering if this assembly has some kind of bug, even though no errors are reported and rebuild all doesn't work. Is there any kind of other program that goes through an assembly file and cleans up bugs? The pack n go is 65 MB.

I can use Shift + Center button to orbit my drawing. problem it, the stuff is always flying off the screen because the pivot point is at the center of the drawing / part / assembly/etc. This annoys me to no end. How do I change the Orbit Pivot to default to the center of the screen?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having some fits with the constrained orbit center. It seems to me that It used to always be in the center of the screen when I would use Shift and CMB. Now it seems to be stuck on the center of my assembly/part. I know that I can hit F4 and long select LMB to re-center but I have never had to do that before the last day or two. I have uninstalled all the Beta Add ins I had installed and I have even uninstalled and reinstalled Inventor Pro 2014.
Is there an option somewhere that puts the default Orbit Center to the center of the screen?
I just installed 3DS Max 2012 with a student license, but I encountered a problem that doesn't seem to go away. Whenever I open it, it gets to the "Starting 3DS Max 2012" screen and then freezes. The process freezes as well. Is there a way I can fix this? I have Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-Bit, and a Dual-Core Processor. My computer meets all the System Requirements except an insufficient video card.

how to turn the photoshop off so that it does not automatically start up when I connect the memory card to the computer. Since I am so new I want time to learn the program before it starts up automatically. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I am used to my computer asking me how I want to view the pictures and then saving them into the program I want to use.

I am coming from AI CS4. In AI CS4 when you would open or creat a new document, your X Y origin would alway start on the lower left hand side.
Now when you open a new document in CS 6 the origin starts in the uper right. If I hand drag the ruler down to the lower left, the Y coordinant reads as a negative number.
when you draw on a black background with white, it comes out black ink on white paper.
is there any way to automatically adjust the contrast of lines with the screen background?
so if i have a dark grey bacground and use a lighter grey line, it is still distiinctive on the white paper?
I have just upgraded to 2013, and there is one "feature" I find kind of distracting. When working in a part, I create a new sketch. When I extrude that sketch, Inventor automatically switches me to an Iso view. I don't want that. I would prefer to stay in the view that I established.
Is there a way to turn that off?
I am using Gimp version 2.6..At the start-up it has the "Paintbrush Tool." I want it to have the "Move Tool" immediately after or when the program starts.
Having the Paintbrush Tool at start-up is inconvenient because if I click on the image it paints where I click. Then I have then got to undo the paint.How can I set GIMP so that the Move Tool is the default mode when it starts?
Whenever I open up at least 2 files, and move them around, inevitably 1 or more of them ends up behind the screen.I've just found 1 reason for this, but there may be more (I'm not looking for Photoshop problems when I work).

If I move my mouse pointer to the top Photoshop Bar, the photos start to hide behind the Photoshop screen. I only use Consolidate all to Tabs,or Float All in Windows

Suddenly my Photoshop Elements 8 Organiser section cannot be accessed directly from the Welcome Screen as it has always done regardless of which version I had used. I can only access the photos through the drop-down panel on the bottom left hand side of the Editor section. Not very convenient and there appears to be no chance of browsing through photos or accessing tagged photos.

It can be opened via the Editor but few of the thumbnails are shown as pictures rather as empty squares. The situation does not improve with time but tends to get worse with pictures turning into squares. I have tried the tip with preferences but to no avail.

I have down loaded PSE11 for only a few days but suddenly when I try to open organizer from the start screen if fails to open successfully and leaves only a blank screen. Why doesn't the image fully fit in the available screen area automatically, when first opening? Why wasn't it? it seems to me that i gave all the necessary information.
I need to have one assembly constrained to three places on along a bar. Should I ( and how would I?) open another assembly drawing, insert said bar and some how insert those three assemblies into the drawing?
View 7 Replies View RelatedIt seems there is a problem with Inventor 3D Sketching. I have a 3D Sketch, with 1 fully constrained vertical line, and another vertical line with an open length. I then join the 2 lines with a line on the top. When I give the top line an angle dimension, I expect it to be fully constrained, but it appears not as the line remains "green".

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to constrain a length of ACME threaded rod to a nut so that when the rod is spun or threaded it shows it traveling into the nut as it will be grounded. I would like it to work as a driven assembly or if I was to turn or spin the rod by the mouse. I've reseached this for the last 2 days and can not spend any more time on it so time to ask the experts.
