View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen creating a pdf with the integrated DWG To PDF, all my text arent recognize with my PDF reader, so i cant do a copy/paste or a search in my pdf.. I use the Arial font and got all fonts installed.
I fount that if a setting on the width factor or the inncline factor of the text is changed, the text is not recognize.
The problem is that AutoCAD 2010, does not recognize any object snap commands, all the other comands work just fine.
I have reinstalled the program and don´t work.
What could be?
Why is my command-bar limited to just 80 characters, when by the looks of it, it could easily fit 200 characters in before having to use a second line of text?
I often want to copy the filepath of the current .dwg and paste it into explorer, but it only pastes the first line of text!
See attached .jpg or text below
Your current drawing filepath is M:196493-CADOPV 3-Entwurf 5
PVModelLAG_AUS_1989_0000_LAGEP_BAUP_XXXXXXXX_MS001_20130321-Synthesis-Plan-Of- pipelines_AB.dwg. command:)
how do I show the full name (path and all) at the top of the Acad dwg?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI cannot get the Full-Screen Tracking Vector to display. I toggle the button in Options>Drafting and hit apply, but nothing. Help says that the Track path System Variable should be = 1, but when the button is on, the Variable = 0. If I set the Variable = 1, it shuts the button off.

What do i put for the file path for it to be relative pathed?
I am unable to uncheck papersize ISO full bleed B1 in DWG to PDF.pc3 in filter papersizes in AutoCAD 2010. All other papersizes can be unchecked just fine.
I am cleaning it all up because the huge amount of printers and plotters, and all of their papersizes, makes it difficult for the people here to find the right choice to plot.
I would like to be able to uncheck this papersize too and have it all working well. I read this is a bug.
Any variables that would cause my XREF paths to change from Full Path to Relative Path when I save a drawing?
This is something that just started happening recently and has me completely at a loss. I haven't installed any patches or hot fixes recently and nothing else has changed that I'm aware of.
Why I cannot remove the ISO b1 full bleed from this plot config file?
I never print metric so there is no need to for it.
What the heck? Brand new machine and new autocad 2012 MEP install.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have many drawings that were created with the xref's as full path and I need them to be relative path. I would just go in and reatch them as relative path but the drawings are complete and there are different layers frozen in each one.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have found a way to convert FULL to RELATIVE using XRP2004.lsp but not the other way round. Main reason I want to do this is to change the Relative to Full, move the drawing and then revert them back to Relative.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWe use Acad map 3d 2012 & civil 3d 2012. We also use Arcgis10.2 and have not seen this problem until one of our contractors (using map 3d 2013) sent us his drawings. When we bring in the map 2013 drawing Arcgis does not recognize the projection assigned to the drawing and our data ends up thousands of kilometres off in the distance. Am I missing something...it always works fine for 2012 drawings.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have XML files for Materials that I have used for several years. BUT they are just that - XML files & supporting PNG images of textures.
I guess I got these back when I installed Inventor Publisher in 2008 or 2009. And I have changed computers 3 or 4 times - up to Inventor 2011, they worked everytime.
Now with Inventor 2013, they don't work. How do I get the .XML files and/or info into a custom Inventor library so they work properly? and no - there is not an .adsklib files available in that folder to migrate. That would be tooooo easy.
Migrating will not recognize just .XML files. Not to my knowledge anyway.
I'm trying to do the drawings of the parts i have made in Inventor but I'm having trouble inserting the centerlines in the holes. Basically, inventor doesn't recognise the centers of the holes in the correct place, so the centerlines can't be put in the center of them. By example, it makes the center of the holes in the lines created by the walls of the hole instead of of making the centers in the center of the hole.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having problems setting up one computers plot configuration to a networked plotter in the work station. With the other computers we were able to just add the plotter of choice and it would show up in the config. This one, however doesn't seem to work. We can print test pages to it and plot with other programs. Only AutoCAD doesn't see it. We've gone into plot options to see if the settings were any different from one computer to the next and they are all the same.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there any way of finding out what objects (lines) don’t quite join together and enclose the space I am trying to hatch/fill within. I'm going round all the corners and intersections with the 'fillet' command just in case I miss something but couldn't imagine doing this if there were lots of corners in a complicated drawing. Would be so time consuming! I've tried using the boundary command but it doesn't recognise the enclosed area (perhaps because it's not fully enclosed because one of the corners doesn't quite join?). Any way CAD would be able to detect which corner doesn't quite join?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a way to recognize a custom content Center part inside Inventor. The way I see it, I would like to fill a custom property with a value so I can set a seperate category inside Vault Pro for a custom Content Center part.
What I found is the following:
CustomContentCenter variabele: ContentCenter{844FDDD7-2E90-4E4C-8868-134CEAEDC078}
IsCustomPart 1
Is there any way that I can get this information inside an Custom Property?
If I select some objects (i.e. pipe, feature line, etc.) and right click to bring up my shortcuts, I click on SOME commands (i.e. object viewer, elevation editor, etc....respectively, the command does not progress....it forces me back to a selection box cursor and I have to reselect the object.
For example, I select a pipe, I then right click, shortcut menu pops up, I select "object viewer", and then my previous slection is not granted and it asked for a new selection (it used to always just proceed with the command), I then have to select the pipe I had previously seleted, and the command proceeds as normal.
not a bid deal, but it slowing down my productivity having to select these items twice. The wierd thing is that it is not like this with all of my right click short cut commands...only a few!?
When preparing an assembly for export to a Revit family, all features need to be recognized as Revit features. I have a part which consists of a sweep with a 3D path, 2 planar sketches projected to a 3D surface to be precise. To make matters worse, it's a sweep whose end meets it's own beginning (the intent of this specific model is to just satisfy a shape, not necessarily reflect the way it's going to be produced). To date I have not found a way to have this sweep feature recognized as a Revit feature, be it as a single feature or multiple. I am running Inventor Professional 2014 on Windows 8 64-bit.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWe have been using Stringer Connect to convert our SDR files to RW5 then FBK, but have recently tried the Survey Link for Civil3D2008.
We use a field code "EC" for edge of concrete. Stringer handles this just fine, but whenever Survey Link sees EC it removes the code from the RW5 file, so we end up with points with no codes and no strings joining them.
The spell check works, almost. when I type a word that spell check does not recognize, I get the red underline, but when I choose to add it to dictionary, no dice. if I ignore, close the editor and reopen, the red underline is there.
What to do, what to do?
We've got a sketched symbol that locates to the center of holes on a part.Problem is, the symbol either doesn't recognize the hole's center and even if it does, the center of the symbol (the designated insertion point) jumps to the edge of the hole.I've even recreated the symbol and I get the same effect.
