I cannot get the Full-Screen Tracking Vector to display. I toggle the button in Options>Drafting and hit apply, but nothing. Help says that the Track path System Variable should be = 1, but when the button is on, the Variable = 0. If I set the Variable = 1, it shuts the button off.
View 2 RepliesOur company uses some third party software to track the number of plots being printed. In AutoCad there is an option to display the full file path of a drawing. I do not see the same setting in Revit. Only the drawing name is sent and recorded which makes it difficult to determine the correct project that should be billed for the plots (our project number is found in the file path).
Can this be enabled in Revit so the full path is sent when a user plots?
I can't figure out how to adjust the size of the program screen when in Full Edit Mode. I can see portions of the Quick Fix menu and none of the Guided Fix menu. There seems to be no way to resize the window.

I am having trouble locking onto a temporary tracking point in autocad 2011. I can't seem to find the start tracking icon and it doesn't recognize the 'TT' command. I have a tracking line, I just can't seem to do it in two dimensions.

Is there a setting for having all drawings open up maximized? The first drawing I open always comes up maximized.
I'm attempting to convert the following Image to vector using Illustrator CS6: URL.....
I've been messing around with Live trace for a few days, but every time I try to convert it to Vector, it destroys my gradient, and converts my Pantone to CMYK.
URLs.....What I need to do, is convert to vector while keeping the gradient, and pantone colors in the graphic to prepare for screen printing.Before anyone says "you don't need to use vector for screen printing". We run Corel X4 on our transparency machine, so I need to convert to vector, and keep the halftones fine, as well as keep the pantone color book.It doesn't need to be a "quick" way to do it...it just needs to be done.
Can I run Video Studio Pro X4 at other than full screen? While working on a project, full screen is fine. But, once I start rendering I'd like to have my PC back and do other things and have VSP render in the background. I opened the preferences dialog, could find nothing relevant. Doesn't appear to be the normal windows shrink button in the upper-right, only minimize which takes VSP totally off screen.
Running Win XP SP3.
With CS I was able to press F+TAB to get a blackbackground screen for viewing my work ,why can't I do this with CS2 or is there another combination for CS2?

-Premise: I like working in full screen mode. I see only my composition, and access all of Photoshop's functionality with hotkeys.
It used to be that, in Full Screen mode, one could press alt+f to access the file menu, or any other menu using the correct letter. Is there anyway to get the same results in Photoshop without leaving full screen? What happened to alt+'space' to access the common Windows Application menu for things like Minimize, Maximize, Move, Close, etc? I see that I can click on the PS icon at the top right, but this is not the same: consider those of us who use multiple monitors, sometimes the application closes on one monitor and then is re-opened when that monitor is no longer present. In cases like these, the application is stuck on a non-existent monitor with no way to use it. Alt+'space' used to be the solution for this.
I download avi files and then edit them in Videostudio X4. THe avi's are always from different resolutions and framerate.
When i play the converted or edited avi files on my mediaplayer on a Widescreen tv then the video is played may time not full screen. Sometimes it is on top and sides filled with black borders.
I would like the video's always be full screen on tv (off course with good quality).
My question is: how can i see in Videostudio if the video can be played full screen on tv?
Let's say i have 2 video's: divx / xvid 576 x 320 at 25.000 fpsec and 512 x 384 at 188.900 at 25.000 frames per second. Would these files be played full screen on the tv?. How can i calculate that it is 4:3 or 16:9 and what must the preference be in Video studio itself: 16:9 or 4:3?
I have made a movie and its 2 hours long,i knew trying to save this to a 4.7 gb dvd I would lose a little quality, well I'm impressed with the results, but for some reason the finish movie isn't full screen, now I know its saved at 4:3 not 16:9, and with 4:3 I expected to have space on both side of the screen when watching it on a TV or computer . But I also have quite a bit of space on the bottom and top as well. Here the properties of my project.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been using Ulead Video Studio 6 for years creating slide shows and burning them to DVD. While playing DVD, made in Ulead Video, the slide show would display in full screen on any TV (for example a horizontal picture would be displayed in full screen and vertical picture would be displayed from top to bottom exposing some black background on the sides which is OK). Now I am using Video Studio Pro X3 and after I create a DVD there is a black background around each photo during playback. In other words, each photo seems to be slightly reduced in size or there is a black border around it during playback of DVD.

But when I do this now, the screen just wobbles then stays in the standard screen mode. Even if I go to View --> Screenmode --> Full Screen Mode, the same thing happens.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI usually use photoshop (cs6) in full screen mode with menu bar. Often I use the window+d shortcut to return to the desktop. From here, whatever window I open, ie my browser, explorer, etc, photoshop pops up in the background minus all the menu bars. This is very annoying because it means I cannot work with files on my desktop.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently ran into an issue where Photoshop was freezing (URL ..... - my issue starts at reply #4) and in order to solve it, I had to open Photoshop by pressing CTRL + ALT + SHIFT, which deletes all preferences. Now that I can open Photoshop, I can't toggle into the different screen modes. The F key doesn't do anything anymore and the options on the toolbar are disabled. I can only choose Standard Screen mode.
What's wrong and how can I fix this so I can work in full-screen mode again? I am on a MacBook Pro using the latest version of Photoshop CS6 from Creative Cloud.
I recently installed / upgraded to CS5.1, set up all my preferences, keyboard shortcuts, presets, plugins. All worked fine, day in - day out, for the last three weeks. About three days ago this anomaly appeared...
When I zoom in (cmd +/), the window will resize, but only part way. The window will move over flush right on the monitor, but leave about one inch of space between the window and the left side of the monitor, and increase in size until it fits aprox 2/3rds of the monitor / screen. It stops enlarging and leaves about 3 inches of space between the window and the bottom of the screen. At that point I get scroll bars. So I end up with a much smaller window to work in.
I can grab the bottom right corner of the window, pull it open to fill the screen, but as soon as I go to zoom in or out, the window jumps back to the smaller size with the gap on the left side and bottom.
Option bar is "Standard Screen Mode"
All my pallets are on a separate monitor, so nothing else is on my main monitor that would limit the size of my window as I zoom in.
My preferences are set to:
• Zoom Resizes Windows
• Enable Flick Panning (works fine)
• Animated Zoom
OS 10.5x
10GB ram
I don't know if I inadvertently changed something to cause this.
whenever i try to capture a full screen application, say like World or Warcraft, I select the program that i want to record, and when viewing the recording, it shows up black.

So that choosing which picture you want to keep is made easier. Now I increase zoom of thumbnails but this leaves a lot of unused space around them including the different tool bars.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy exported videos don't seem to be full screen. My source data are jpg pictures in 4272x2848 resolution (Aspect Ratio of 3:2) turned into time lapse videos. I have tried exporting in MPEG-4 and WMV Screen capture 1920x1080 (1.777:1) and the resulting videos have black bars on the sides because of the different aspect ratio. I would ideally like to have an imported video file that is the same aspect ratio as the source pictures, something like a 1620x1080 (3:2). Can I pick a custom resolution for exporting? Is there a way I can crop the black bars out afterwards? Can I apply a cropping filter to the current project before exporting?
The "Enable Widescreen" setting had no effect on the videos, they came out identical.
I've been using ulead vs 10 and now corel vs x4 pro to interface and record video from a microscope. I produced a DVD for microbe identification which has been purchased by 100s of amateur scientists and organic farmers. I record direct to hard drive via firewire with a Sony HD camcorder with a remote control 10X analog zoom; 37 mm lense. It is a lovely old camera.
1/ The recording controls are not accessible when in full screen mode which means I need to start recording, open the full screen then focus and start tracking my organisms with the microscope stage controls. To stop recording I need to go to small screen again first. Has this function been changed in the x5 version?
2/ When using the HD settings on camera and software, there is a delayed reaction to the computer so this makes tracking the microbes impossible. I doubt this is caused by lack of RAM I have 24 GB on a windows 7 64 bit.
3/ Occaisionally when I am observing and/or recording, the transmission freezes. I think this is likely something trying to run in the computer....Perhaps with creating a dedicated profile where I could stop any of this interference.
4/ I've been using an external USB 2.0 hard drive for storage but it is too slow. I've been thinking of a SATA external drive or USB 3. Does any huge advantages for the extra money to get a SATA external drive over USB 3.0?
Image with resolution larger than monitor size, view in PSP set to 1:1...Ctrl+Shft+A for full screen view.
PSP switches to full-screen with move (hand) tool present for moving around the image. However, when the move tool is used it behaves like the Esc key and defaults back to preview view within PSP.
I just haven't found the setting, but I can't seem to make the cursor disappear during full screen preview in PSP x4! Is it something I'm not selecting?
I have searched to the ends of the internet for an answer, but have come up with nothing, however I noticed that there was an ESC key bug with full screen preview in PSP x3, and having a visible cursor would allow one to exit full screen without having to press a key. Could this be why the cursor is now visible? Now that I think about it, I've always been able to exit with either the ESC key or a mouse click. Still, this is something I've never seen before in any version of PSP.
I may sound like an idiot, but I'm confussed about this full screen mode. I'm taking a digital imaging class and we use Macs and PScs there. At home I have a PC with PS7. In school, I can work in full screen mode and pan the image out from under the palettes. I can't do this on my home PC. Is there a way to make this work or is it a Mac or PScs feature?
