I would like to create userform like command array in AutoCAD.
1) There is a possibility to preview in window on a right side.
2) After clicking the preview commandButton You can preview the drawing on the model space.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIm a user of Autocad 2012 but in the new array command of autocad 2012 , when a block is arrayed the entire array acts as one unit and all the objects in it move together . This can be changed by exploding the arrayed objects and i can move the objects individually but when this is done my block properties are lost...Auto cad renames this block and no longer identifies as my old block.
How can i retain my block properties whilst using the array command in autocad 2012!
Started to play with dynamic blocks now got my head around stretch and tables but I'm looking to use the array command
this is what I want to try to achive
I have a dynamic block which has a array command in it so by simply pulling on the arrow the block will array horizontally giving me multiple items side by side
what I want to do is count the array example if I insert the block and and array to say 12 items side by side then I want to get the value 12 placed into a block attribute which is part of the dynamic block
I can then pull this data out of the drawing into spreadsheet so I can then create a purchase list of items
My immediate thought was to divide the the total length by the width of the item to get me a count but I don't know yet how to get this to work in the dynamic block
previously i was using civil 3d 2010, now while i am using 2012. i want to create a grid of points with easting and northing. i have manually created a point but when i use array command it does not work properly. as u can see in this image.
i created point with proper values of easing and northing but after array easing northing values becomes just -19.
I have an ipart I'd like to create w/ surfaces. The surface color is important because we use that as plate thickness ID in FEA. When I color a surface blue, then another red I continually get the default color when using the mirror or array command. We're creating a customizeable ipart where there will be some intelligence surrounding how big the array (we may need 3, 4, or 5 beams based on the unit size). I need a way that the colors on the surface propogate to the new surfaces created by the commands.

I'm trying to use the PATH array feature on 2013 to array stairs, and I can't get the array to be 100% accurate. It seems like CAD rounds the decimal to the nearest 3/4" which could be causing the problem.
I set my run to 10.5" and rise to 7.25", array along the angle of the stringer, and there's always a small overlap on the stairs. The "distance between" should be 1'-209/256" and CAD rounds it to 1'-3/4" which is where I believe the error is. Is there any way to fix this or array this correctly? Otherwise...back to the COPY method I suppose.
I recently bought a Nikon D7100. I took some test shots and imported the images to Lightroom 4.4, then generated 1:1 previews for all the images.
Previews zoomed to 1:1 in Library Mode are noticeably soft. The image below is a screen shot of the Library preview:
Moving to Develop View produces a higher-resolution 1:1 preview. The image below is a screen shot of the Develop preview:
Look at the bricks and window screens to see the difference.
This difference occurs immediately after import (with a User Preset applied during import). Once any Develop work is done, the Library preview updates and displays at full resolution.
This problem makes doing initial editing/selection of images time consuming, because I can't determine the sharpness/quality of imported images until I've done some kind of Develop adjustment on each image.
I'm trying to edit a set of titles made in Premiere in After Effects, and after I import the file (as a Premiere file) then load the sequence into the timeline; the preview is just a black screen throughout the entire preview. The titles never show up.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am currently writing a series of routines for setting the layers for text, leaders and dimension commands. The end goal is a system where any annotation command sets the correct layer for the duration of the command, then reverts back to the layer that was active before the command.
I have managed to complete all the code, and it appears to be working fine, I just have one question: I have used -layer "m" "Lay_name" etc... for all layer setting commands, rather than any code to see if the layer exists already. In my limited testing this seems to be suitable, nothing that exists on that layer seems to be affected.
I know how to write code to determine if the layer exists already and set the layer instead, but so far it seems unnecessary??
After installing the VBA Module, I get the message "Unknown command "VBARUN"". I've rebooted, restarted and tried reinstalling the VBA Module to no avail.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI press CTRL+9 to make the Command Line disappear while drawing. When I plot (or when doing a plot preview) , the Command Line appears again by itself. So I always have to turn the Command Line off manually after each plot
The bug still happens;
- if Dynamic Input is turned off or on
- if I plot to a real device or in PDF
- if the Cammand Line Palette i docked or floating.
This is not an issue in AutoCAD 2012 so I guess it has to do with the new way they programmed the revamped Command Line palette in 2013.

I need to save a drawing file and give it the name of my desire using a single command, I don't want to issue "saveas" and then specify the name in the file name prompt. This problem is has been faced when I was using ScriptPro and I couldn't succeeded to do that. Hence I need to know if it is feasible to do the stuff using a single command. It will be preferred if I can choose the location to save the file also rather than save the file to the default location.

With most standard filters, one can either uncheck a [ ] Preview box, and/or click the mouse button down on the image to temporarily show what the image is like without the effect.Yes, I know I can turn the Stylization down to 0.1 and see how a very minimal amount of the effect can be applied. And I can look at the original image in Photoshop proper, but of course that can't be zoomed while the Oil Paint filter is active.

Modal click and drag Zooming vs. Panning - i.e., based on a Zoom or Pan function selected (e.g., via an icon along the left) vs. having to hold modifier keys down. I personally would want it set to Zoom by default, not Pan. Since the filter has scroll bars (a Good Thing), I would have thought Zoom would have been a better default as it is. I have implemented these things in my own GPU-accelerated plug-ins, so I know that all the infrastructure Adobe needs to support them is already in there. I am using MacBook (late 2008) OS X 10.9.2 and recently upgraded to Lightroom 5.3 from Lightroom 4. After a while, some photo started to show exclamation mark at the right hand corner of the photo (*.CR2 raw files in NAS) in grid view. When I click on the exclamation mark, it shows a dialog with following message; "Lightroom has encountered problems reading this photo". So, I moved previews.lrdata, which is about 9GB, to the trash and restarted the Lightroom 5, expecting Lightroom 5 to create a new previews.lrdata. However, it won't create any preview at all.

if you care to not click-through, the problem is that certain commands (not all of them) simply do not disply in the command line. so the MOVE command for example looks like this:

line command is a multiple command. there is a way to execute it like a single command?

I remember recently having the same issue with the HATCH command, but this was solved by altering the 'HPDLGMODE' setting. I've looked for a similar setting for ARRAY but so far come up with nothing.
Any settings that will revive this dialogue box?
I need to get the values(textstrings) of some AutoCAD table cells into a string array, but I am having troubles. I have the proper table and I can get the contents of individual cells using acTable.Cells(1, 1).TextString, etc... but I cannot seem to remember how to get each cell value into an array.

I am trying to array a 3d block along a 3d polyline made up of straight plines. I align the block to the end of the endpoint on the 3d polyline ie the path. use array path command.The block does not align properly around the path. Rhino allows for two-rail curves and extrusions, is there anything similar in Autocad2013? I'm working on a trellis that has an undulating, slatted top - I can array the slats along one spline/polycurve, but figuring out how to rotate them to match the secondary angle/curve (it twists) is proving to be really difficult. Rotate3D I have trouble with (crossing different faces/USC which confuses me), and doing so for each slat is going to be exceptionally time consuming.
Is there a way to array a form along two paths, so that the pieces automatically adjust to match the needed angles that both rails define?
